John C. Dvorak 1189 this is no agenda
  • 0:13
    [Music]
  • 0:21
I'm Adam curry and from northern Silicon
  • 0:24
Valley where I have noticed that Woody
  • 0:26
    Allen's finally been canceled by
  • 0:28
canceled culture good for them I'm John
  • 0:30
C Dvorak Woody Allen wasn't already like
  • 0:37
Schubert like super canceled no house
  • 0:40
cancelled cancelled now movie had a
  • 0:44
rainy day in New York will not get
  • 0:46
released in the United States it's
  • 0:48
actually been released in Europe to good
  • 0:50
    reviews yeah
  • 0:51
Amazon will not bring it out in the
  • 0:53
United States they won't stream it his
  • 0:55
feet he's got it the autobiography of
  • 0:58
Woody Allen which has to be a
  • 0:59
fascinating book no tonight the big the
  • 1:02
big for publishers none of them will
  • 1:03
touch it did he do that himself but he's
  • 1:07
a writer yeah but he did the the film
  • 1:10
about his life or is it just a written
  • 1:12
off Oh bullshit no agenda pressured to
  • 1:15
release that we have new neighbors five
  • 1:24
minutes from from the crackpot to home
  • 1:27
here crackpot in the keeper yes yeah
  • 1:31
yeah we didn't have time to talk about
  • 1:33
it because it happened on think it
  • 1:35
    happened on Thursday here's report
  • 1:37
number one under way just about an hour
  • 1:39
ago we were able to capture some video
  • 1:41
for you so let's go ahead and play it
  • 1:42
and show you what we saw we saw textile
  • 1:45
crews out and about escorted by state
  • 1:47
police cleaning up the trash out here
  • 1:48
using leaf blowers and a street sweeper
  • 1:51
now the second part we believe will be
  • 1:53
to pack up the folks living here as the
  • 1:56
state steps in and frustration mounts
  • 1:58
    over how the
  • 2:00
is handling this crisis governor Greg
  • 2:02
Abbott warning state leaders are excuse
  • 2:05
me city leaders to straighten things up
  • 2:06
but now he's just stepping in this
  • 2:08
morning Texas stat our textile crews
  • 2:10
will clear away the homeless encampments
  • 2:13
across town there are a lot of them the
  • 2:15
governor says he will not allow Austin
  • 2:17
to turn into cities like San Francisco
  • 2:19
or LA now one man who I talked to who's
  • 2:22
been living under the same overpass get
  • 2:24
this for three years he told me you know
  • 2:27
what I'm just gonna move to another spot
  • 2:29
because Austin is too good to give up
  • 2:32
people over the country you come to
  • 2:35
Austin because it's famous this is a
  • 2:37
famous place to live on the streets
  • 2:39
everybody knows man you want to live on
  • 2:41
his feet go to Austin why even have to
  • 2:43
buy food everybody give me money I'd
  • 2:54
love that they put that in that report
  • 2:55
for a mainstream report that was
  • 2:57
    fantastic so surprised habit came
  • 3:00
through and he opened up a five acre
  • 3:03
site Southeast Austin but I have that
  • 3:06
verse where you are John it's five
  • 3:10
    minutes from here
  • 3:11
like I mean it's not really walkable but
  • 3:13
if I jumped in the car five minutes and
  • 3:15
I gotta tell you right off the bat I'm
  • 3:17
super happy this is a great spot for
  • 3:19
them to be and they're already halfway
  • 3:22
to mobile loaves and fishes community
  • 3:25
first village and the way it's set up
  • 3:28
    with transportation and everything this
  • 3:30
might actually work it's been two days
  • 3:32
since the state opened up a designated
  • 3:34
camping area for the homeless it's a
  • 3:37
temporary spot about seven acres in size
  • 3:39
not far from the Austin Airport KB's
  • 3:41
Darren Isha Herron is there and says
  • 3:43
people are starting to move in now
  • 3:45
    Darren Isha
  • 3:46
a text I just got here they arrives not
  • 3:50
too long ago they are putting up lights
  • 3:51
    for better
  • 3:53
visibility and as for the homeless I
  • 3:55
have not seen many but the ones I did
  • 3:57
talk to they've already picked their
  • 4:00
    spots
  • 4:01
it's like perfect and then we got here
  • 4:03
it wasn't anyone here but two guys
  • 4:05
Michael Johnson and his friend Jose
  • 4:07
wrote 13 miles on their bikes to find a
  • 4:10
    safer place to call home
  • 4:11
Wow we don't have to talk to anyone to
  • 4:13
be here you know fine all the state
  • 4:16
designated this area off of 183 near
  • 4:19
Montopolis as a temporary homeless camp
  • 4:22
    equipped with portable restrooms and
  • 4:25
    hand-washing stations we thought like
  • 4:27
wow we got bikes back to handle the
  • 4:29
terrain as long as it's not on the
  • 4:30
freeway we should be able to get there
  • 4:33
but there are questions about how other
  • 4:34
homeless will be able to get to this
  • 4:36
camp several miles from downtown cap
  • 4:39
Metro said Friday they will get the
  • 4:41
homeless to the campsite but they are
  • 4:44
waiting for more guidance from the state
  • 4:45
on how exactly they can help but for
  • 4:48
Michael and Jose Soloff we want to kind
  • 4:50
of let people know like where says all
  • 4:53
of this with the graffiti as you can see
  • 4:54
like this is where I want to be they are
  • 4:57
in good spirits now that they are here
  • 4:59
the only thing I was really concerned
  • 5:00
with is like will they be electricity if
  • 5:03
we're way out here so we just said okay
  • 5:06
well we have a plan for that too
  • 5:09
    generators the governor's office says
  • 5:12
the troops will be patrolling the area
  • 5:13
24 hours a day DPS says they will be
  • 5:17
taking a headcount to find out how many
  • 5:19
people are in and out of this campsite
  • 5:21
they say they are also in talks with
  • 5:23
organizations to find out when they will
  • 5:25
be bringing food here and as for tent
  • 5:28
    transportation
  • 5:30
cap Metro says they are waiting to hear
  • 5:33
back from the governor's office on when
  • 5:37
and where they can pick people up so
  • 5:39
these reports all sound you know oops
  • 5:41
    sorry
  • 5:42
sound pretty positive and optimistic the
  • 5:45
people they selected at least I'm very
  • 5:47
positive and optimistic and I will do a
  • 5:50
    boots-on-the-ground report I'm gonna go
  • 5:51
out there not today but I'm gonna go out
  • 5:53
there this week see what's going on talk
  • 5:55
to some people you're the main recorder
  • 5:57
yes the main thing the you know the
  • 6:01
super liberals of Austin are like well
  • 6:04
    he shipped them five miles
  • 6:07
it's twit knows twelve miles from
  • 6:09
downtown and they have to bus in what
  • 6:12
are you going to downtown for well that
  • 6:14
apparently is where all the money's but
  • 6:16
I'm I'm thinking the people of Austin
  • 6:19
sit in traffic for an hour to get
  • 6:21
downtown who have jobs and homes and pay
  • 6:23
taxes so shut up already these guys
  • 6:26
actually get in a better deal on the
  • 6:28
    transportation dedicated bus service but
  • 6:31
I'm all for it I think this is a great
  • 6:33
development I'm glad I'm glad you like
  • 6:36
it I think it's at the beginning of the
  • 6:38
end for the idea that we don't have
  • 6:41
shiny towns in this country oh it's
  • 6:45
gonna be a shanty town should I just for
  • 6:47
context Montopolis is my exit off offer
  • 6:51
183 so if you turn right you go to your
  • 6:55
house to her left you get there no you
  • 6:57
get off at Montopolis you're there and
  • 6:59
then you drive you know five minutes
  • 7:01
further and your money gets your house
  • 7:03
from the airport now you have to go
  • 7:04
through a homeless encampment no you
  • 7:06
want to go through it no I don't we
  • 7:08
looked last night and Tina picked me up
  • 7:10
I got in late oh man I had it I had a
  • 7:13
    trip from Hell John
  • 7:14
yes let's skip the rest of the homeless
  • 7:16
story by the way congratulations the
  • 7:21
Republican governor but let's yes indeed
  • 7:24
tell the story all right well you have
  • 7:27
to understand when traveling while doing
  • 7:31
the show the most complicated window is
  • 7:34
between Thursday and the second Thursday
  • 7:36
    show also known as Sunday
  • 7:39
because the show on Thursday ends that
  • 7:42
and really we don't hang up until 10:30
  • 7:45
p.m. my time there and then I do still
  • 7:48
have some cleanup to do and that's 11:00
  • 7:50
and then I need to eat something gotta
  • 7:52
unwind so you know really not in bed
  • 7:53
until midnight and it'll be nonstop this
  • 7:56
whole week so I knew I would have
  • 7:59
    limited prep opportunities because
  • 8:02
Friday I had you know two more
  • 8:04
appointments and then I was gonna have a
  • 8:06
short dinner with a buddy of mine who
  • 8:09
used to be a mainstream talk show guy in
  • 8:12
Holland Robert en su and he under my
  • 8:15
encouragement went total male value for
  • 8:18
value podcasts and he also has an
  • 8:20
interesting video version of it and he's
  • 8:23
a wine nut I mean like as long as I've
  • 8:26
known him he's been into want like
  • 8:28
seared like you into wine only he I
  • 8:31
    don't know it's but I don't know where
  • 8:34
his level of knowledge is cuz I don't
  • 8:36
know anything but he said yeah let's
  • 8:37
have some dinner and that turned into a
  • 8:39
five hour dinner with a total of four
  • 8:44
bottles of different wine which I sent
  • 8:46
pictures to you because apparently they
  • 8:48
were supposed to be good they tasted
  • 8:51
good and of course you know you said
  • 8:55
    well who else was there
  • 8:57
    and
  • 8:58
said no it's just the two of us and then
  • 8:59
you kind of went into this long you know
  • 9:02
non-believing states that i could drink
  • 9:04
    that much alcohol
  • 9:08
I'm maintaining my position what I sent
  • 9:14
what you never answered or never
  • 9:15
commented on the wines except yeah yeah
  • 9:18
you said nothing to complain but were
  • 9:19
they actually good I mean is there are
  • 9:21
those Egon dust that we they had was a
  • 9:23
very probably the most famous of the
  • 9:25
area which is that it's a couple of
  • 9:27
Grand Cru growers champagnes which are
  • 9:31
always dynamite he said that then he
  • 9:33
said there's only five hundred bottles
  • 9:35
of that particular champagne was ever
  • 9:37
    made that's possible yeah because
  • 9:41
generally speaking the guys who grow do
  • 9:43
growers champagne which is a type of
  • 9:45
champagne where guys are growers don't
  • 9:47
you guys would grow lots of grapes and
  • 9:49
sell them to the big boys Bollinger
  • 9:52
they'll make their own special little
  • 9:54
house house run to make a little batch
  • 9:56
    small basis small batch small-batch
  • 10:00
artisanal art is very much it believe me
  • 10:02
    they're considered artisans and those
  • 10:04
boys are always dynamite um they're not
  • 10:06
as good as just super star big boys but
  • 10:09
    they're they're about one-tenth the
  • 10:11
price of steel so so he knows how to buy
  • 10:15
cheap now the other is Dutch and and
  • 10:19
yeah the other one I never heard of some
  • 10:22
    screwy wine I don't even know if it's a
  • 10:23
wider read it was very I looked it up
  • 10:25
and it was done by some some people that
  • 10:27
were I don't know what to want it was
  • 10:29
that must have been it must have been
  • 10:30
the white wine because it had that was
  • 10:32
the white wine I do I was unfamiliar
  • 10:34
with that one completely and then I did
  • 10:35
a little research I'm still unfamiliar
  • 10:37
with it it's just some obscurity well
  • 10:39
that that was the one that was the most
  • 10:40
interesting to me because it had what he
  • 10:43
called it oxidation and it had this this
  • 10:47
bouquet the smell to it that was very
  • 10:50
distinct in Shangri Cola oxidized he
  • 10:54
served you an oxidized wine that was
  • 10:56
tasty but it was one of these smells
  • 10:59
that you'll never forget kind of like
  • 11:01
DMT you'll never forget that smell this
  • 11:05
one it was yeah oxidation I mean is that
  • 11:07
doesn't sound like that's supposed to be
  • 11:08
that way but it was it was delicious
  • 11:10
    I've really enjoyed it
  • 11:14
huh well I don't know what he's talking
  • 11:17
about I don't know because oxidation
  • 11:18
generally speaking terms is just a
  • 11:20
precursor to white to para Rico pre
  • 11:23
    parking
  • 11:25
I've been matter eyes there's could have
  • 11:27
been to some other there's other things
  • 11:28
    that can happen
  • 11:29
sure and Sun has a funny style of wine
  • 11:31
that creates this this particular flavor
  • 11:35
    that's tasty yeah I don't know I don't
  • 11:37
know anything about the wine or what
  • 11:38
    he's talking about
  • 11:39
well anyway so that lasted much longer
  • 11:42
than I expected so I'm like ah crap and
  • 11:45
of course had to get up at 6:30 to to
  • 11:48
catch the flight home I'm still I'm back
  • 11:50
at the hotel I'm like alright I'm tired
  • 11:53
and I turn on the TV see what else is
  • 11:55
going on the only news I got was that
  • 11:57
you know the black Petes inter-class
  • 11:59
arrived and of course we have this same
  • 12:01
controversy we've had for eight years
  • 12:03
now about the black Petes and so all the
  • 12:07
    different local stations were reporting
  • 12:09
in because you recall that in order to
  • 12:12
move away from the obvious intentional
  • 12:15
racism of the black Petes with the white
  • 12:18
Sinterklaas coming from Spain to bring
  • 12:20
the children gifts they decided to go to
  • 12:23
the suit Pete which would mean his face
  • 12:26
would only be somewhat blackened because
  • 12:28
he went down the chimney or so he had
  • 12:30
soot and it turns out the ratio of soot
  • 12:35
Pete to black Petes was quite low
  • 12:37
probably only about 10% but all of the
  • 12:40
    local stations reporting mentioned that
  • 12:43
this was the transition year it has
  • 12:45
black peed his transitioning from black
  • 12:48
to suit Pete and I'm sure we'll hear
  • 12:51
I'll probably read some stuff today if
  • 12:54
    there were any protests and
  • 12:56
    demonstrations about this fine
  • 12:58
    children's a holiday tradition so I wake
  • 13:03
up but actually got a text message in
  • 13:05
the middle of the night and said there's
  • 13:07
    something about delayed whatever like
  • 13:08
    I'll deal with it
  • 13:09
and I wake up at 6:30 and my flight is
  • 13:11
it was supposed to leave at 10:20 it was
  • 13:14
delayed until 2:30 for hours yeah this
  • 13:19
is a real problem because you know I
  • 13:21
also it's not flying direct they gotta
  • 13:23
go via Houston so I'm gonna miss a
  • 13:25
    connection so they're rebook
  • 13:27
me time after time is just the whole
  • 13:29
    thing is a nightmare
  • 13:30
and so I don't have much time to you
  • 13:34
know I'm just standing in line and doing
  • 13:37
bullcrap so how can I prep not really
  • 13:39
get on the plane now you can do some
  • 13:41
prep on the plane but you can't clip
  • 13:43
videos when you have to low life I well
  • 13:46
this is what no there was Wi-Fi in
  • 13:47
United but you got to wait for the
  • 13:49
videos don't play very well yeah yeah
  • 13:53
start the video pause it wait for it to
  • 13:56
load so you can't really clip from that
  • 13:58
and then on arrival holy crap the
  • 14:02
Houston but you had to go see how it
  • 14:04
goes to whatever that thing you have you
  • 14:06
didn't go right through well so that
  • 14:08
that's part one I go to the Global Entry
  • 14:10
and despite that other producers who are
  • 14:15
in the same boat as I say there's a
  • 14:17
grace period there's a grace period of
  • 14:20
six months because they had to move a
  • 14:23
lot of custom Border Patrol agents down
  • 14:25
to the border so they didn't have enough
  • 14:28
manpower to do the interviews now none
  • 14:30
of that is true in my case I I look in
  • 14:34
the camera I put down my passport
  • 14:36
immediately and your your Global Entry
  • 14:39
    has expired
  • 14:40
like okay something that goes through
  • 14:43
the the normal line which actually I'd
  • 14:46
say move quite fast then of course you
  • 14:51
wait forever to get your suitcase
  • 14:52
because you have to declare your luggage
  • 14:54
before you can you know then you have to
  • 14:56
recheck it but then here's the thing
  • 14:58
that's that's bothersome then you have
  • 15:00
to go through a series of security check
  • 15:02
checks and Houston had something that
  • 15:05
I'd never witnessed in my life so we you
  • 15:09
already go so you've gone through
  • 15:11
customs you have your bag then you walk
  • 15:13
out the door and there's always a couple
  • 15:14
agents there and you're looking at you
  • 15:16
seen if you if you twitch which always
  • 15:17
makes me twitch and and they had a dog a
  • 15:21
beagle and the beagles sniffing away so
  • 15:23
there's no problem but then we had to go
  • 15:26
through another one of those you know
  • 15:27
like the Disneyland lying that you know
  • 15:29
snakes you around back and forth and
  • 15:32
back and forth until you got to the end
  • 15:36
and it was double as wide as the line
  • 15:40
    itself
  • 15:41
is really only meant for you know two
  • 15:42
people close together and they were
  • 15:45
yelling at people right stand next to
  • 15:46
each other one by one text to each other
  • 15:48
Toto people at a time and you know this
  • 15:50
wife and and her husband in front of me
  • 15:52
I think they may have been traveling
  • 15:53
with a friend and so the wife lines up
  • 15:55
with whoever she was with and then
  • 15:57
    everyone's confused I'm like well I
  • 15:59
guess that's us buddy and so he and I
  • 16:00
stand next to each other and then you
  • 16:03
imagine this path maybe wait wait and
  • 16:05
    then you're shot dead that's what you'd
  • 16:08
expect there's this path of wonder
  • 16:11
cattle get so nervous that's exactly
  • 16:14
what it felt like but then so there's a
  • 16:16
dog at the kind of halfway of this
  • 16:18
    pathway let's say it's 30 30 feet on the
  • 16:22
floor in front of us are two sets of paw
  • 16:26
prints and we have to follow the paw
  • 16:29
    prints past the dog
  • 16:33
and what was going on with this are they
  • 16:36
training me to be a dog why did it have
  • 16:39
to why did it have to be side by an I
  • 16:41
wasn't gonna ask cuz these yeah first
  • 16:43
I'm tired they're not taking any shit
  • 16:45
from every anybody but it was the oddest
  • 16:48
thing and why would I have to partner
  • 16:50
with someone walk lockstep at the same
  • 16:52
time past the dog following the green
  • 16:55
hoofprints on the floor I'd really like
  • 16:58
to know what that was about and then of
  • 17:00
course you get pushed right into another
  • 17:02
one as Arab terrorists hate dogs I got
  • 17:07
too many time clothes the clip here for
  • 17:09
you today it was the oddest thing and
  • 17:13
and then you know then we went through
  • 17:15
    another horrible winding multi-lane you
  • 17:19
know cattle yes it's the cattle chutes
  • 17:22
exactly what it is and I just I mean my
  • 17:27
bags of course always getting pulled
  • 17:29
open and everything out everything in
  • 17:31
swab everything cuz I got the whole
  • 17:33
studio with me so you know they're
  • 17:35
always trying to catch me on ax I'm
  • 17:37
having a vibrator in my bag that's what
  • 17:40
they think the mic looks they're always
  • 17:41
so they're all shitty when they see my
  • 17:43
bag we're gonna get this guy
  • 17:46
    [Music]
  • 17:47
what's this sir and then you'll finally
  • 17:53
I didn't get and get to bed until
  • 17:55
midnight and I got up at 5:30 and and
  • 17:59
then of course had to build up the
  • 18:00
    studio which I didn't couldn't do last
  • 18:02
night it's and when you're groggy man
  • 18:04
you'll forget a wire easily so your
  • 18:07
ghost thing yes I was so yeah your ghost
  • 18:11
thing didn't work Global Entry members
  • 18:14
Go Go Global Entry system yeah that
  • 18:17
didn't work and that the dog paw print
  • 18:20
next to each other thing was puzzling
  • 18:22
and concerning yeah explanation we have
  • 18:29
people that work in that division no
  • 18:30
yeah so the government thinkin explain
  • 18:32
it to us what the hell's going on with
  • 18:33
this something wasn't dog prints and
  • 18:35
worried where do you have to be side by
  • 18:37
side how does that make things any
  • 18:38
better it was just to make sense cause I
  • 18:42
    don't like traveling anymore there's a
  • 18:46
lot of reasons not to like traveling
  • 18:48
just another reason it just is one thing
  • 18:51
after another yeah I mean it used to be
  • 18:53
a lot of fun to travel but now it's like
  • 18:56
it's well you know fifty years ago right
  • 18:58
    but but now it's just a it's a nightmare
  • 19:01
yeah I mean yeah when you're there you
  • 19:03
get to accomplish something or other
  • 19:05
maybe maybe not you can do things
  • 19:06
remotely now but the process the process
  • 19:09
is the problem yeah and they're doing
  • 19:12
nothing to alleviate they're making the
  • 19:14
planes tighter they're moving the seats
  • 19:16
together they had to get a law passed to
  • 19:18
make the seats fry enough apart so you
  • 19:20
could actually sit in these things they
  • 19:22
keep talking about having you stand up
  • 19:25
and flame after the whole flight and
  • 19:27
strap you in yeah we've seen that wing
  • 19:29
you've jammed more people in the plane
  • 19:30
like you're locked and they sit there
  • 19:32
    seriously considering these things this
  • 19:34
is how much they care about your travel
  • 19:36
experience no they they clearly don't
  • 19:39
clearly don't so anyway we're back in
  • 19:43
and I'm happy to be back it's nice to be
  • 19:46
home especially with the new neighbors
  • 19:48
so this is all it's all good bring him
  • 19:50
an apple pie when you started this
  • 19:52
segment I thought you were gonna say
  • 19:54
that Matthew McConaughy moved next door
  • 19:57
he's in he's in that town right next to
  • 20:00
Jennifer Aniston and Sandy Bullock and
  • 20:03
yeah no no celebrities when it comes to
  • 20:06
celebrities in Austin I'm it that's it I
  • 20:09
met old MTV guy no one else lives here
  • 20:11
they just pretend to look hip
  • 20:15
well I like to like the hobo said the
  • 20:18
greatest place in the world it's a party
  • 20:20
man why wouldn't you want to come to
  • 20:23
    Austin
  • 20:25
oh boy but shit yes come on we going
  • 20:29
no no go ahead I mean I was gonna die
  • 20:30
yes I guess I have a few clothes that
  • 20:33
they should go with some local news
  • 20:34
    around here yeah sure
  • 20:36
Ben Shapiro was at Stanford oh boy did
  • 20:40
he get boycott boycott well they booed
  • 20:43
him and they tried they did but he
  • 20:45
hadn't managed to speak and even though
  • 20:47
they had people outside yelling heigh-ho
  • 20:52
heigh-ho hey where was it again hey Oh
  • 20:55
Ben Shapiro has got to go hey hey oh
  • 21:00
yeah yeah they had that going on outside
  • 21:03
and he meanwhile his whole speech was
  • 21:06
about about the alt-right being a bunch
  • 21:09
of Nazis they're telling him to go it
  • 21:11
    was already there
  • 21:13
of course Spiro had a guide it got a
  • 21:16
    clip
  • 21:19
I play the kicker clip first this was a
  • 21:21
short little guy comes up with a
  • 21:23
    question
  • 21:23
Shapira by the way appreciated what
  • 21:25
you're gonna hear this has been shapiro
  • 21:27
question with the with the kicker so one
  • 21:29
of my question is have you been keeping
  • 21:31
up with us going on with Roger stone and
  • 21:33
what your thoughts and your thoughts on
  • 21:35
maybe some of the chairs or the the
  • 21:37
judge that might be going against him so
  • 21:40
to be honest I haven't seen didn't kill
  • 21:43
himself go nuts or what control hold on
  • 21:54
I mean if we're gonna do it let me do a
  • 21:55
couple and you might just let me do two
  • 21:58
and then we'll get back to you but I
  • 22:00
want to mention something you have you
  • 22:03
did predict us you totally predicted
  • 22:05
this but you didn't add the little the
  • 22:08
observation at this is the modern
  • 22:10
version of a rick roll well no we talked
  • 22:13
about it being Baba Booey which is is I
  • 22:17
consider all of a rick roll because Baba
  • 22:19
Booey pretty you're right well what what
  • 22:23
    is cool is that
  • 22:24
and I encourage everybody to do this now
  • 22:26
it's just too tired to do it for no
  • 22:28
agenda although I will do it today the
  • 22:31
weather app someone sent me a screenshot
  • 22:34
you know sometimes the app will fail if
  • 22:37
you don't have a connection or if it
  • 22:38
can't connect and so it says here this
  • 22:40
is New York New York 51 degrees feels
  • 22:42
like 51 wind six Southwest I was going
  • 22:46
to fetch you some weather but then I
  • 22:47
    remembered epstein didn't kill himself
  • 22:49
this is what this everyone's 404 page
  • 22:52
not found should be that should be great
  • 22:55
    idea sting didn't kill him that's a
  • 22:57
    great idea
  • 22:58
    it's it's too funny and here's a MSNBC
  • 23:01
but by the way it's a great idea for the
  • 23:03
next few months to be over this MSNBC
  • 23:08
asking some students in Alabama about
  • 23:10
the elections and I think this
  • 23:13
particular one was asked about Trump's
  • 23:15
    policies
  • 23:16
    [Music]
  • 23:19
I would say mainly just no-nonsense
  • 23:29
    policies and especially since Jeffrey
  • 23:38
takes the reporter a second to figure
  • 23:40
out what because you know a reporter
  • 23:41
isn't actually listening to what the
  • 23:43
people say when they ask him questions
  • 23:45
know just like especially since Epstein
  • 23:48
    killed himself
  • 23:49
you even did that you rickrolled me with
  • 23:52
that in that whole wine email thread
  • 23:54
which I thought was pretty funny I did
  • 23:56
that was pretty good all right anyway
  • 23:58
back to Ben Shapiro yeah Ben Shapiro so
  • 24:04
that I just thought this was a very
  • 24:06
    interesting observation because it's
  • 24:07
something we kind of lose sight of he's
  • 24:10
    describing the difference between the
  • 24:12
left and the alt ride and how they're
  • 24:14
just kind of upside down mirror images
  • 24:17
    of each other
  • 24:18
and then there goes his effort by the
  • 24:20
way I'm here to do in real time one two
  • 24:21
three four five six seven eight cars
  • 24:25
good okay that's better the economy is
  • 24:27
stable so he's it's something we when he
  • 24:33
his conclusion to this is something we'd
  • 24:34
kind of lose sight of when we were
  • 24:37
making talking about the left to the
  • 24:38
right or anybody in between he's not a
  • 24:41
fan of the all right and this is his
  • 24:45
little discussion and his point and I
  • 24:47
think it's something we have to kind of
  • 24:49
all of us can I have to remember
  • 24:51
political correctness is a weapon for
  • 24:53
the left but it's also a weapon for the
  • 24:54
    alt-right Harvard presser Steven Pinker
  • 24:56
who left tried to cancel for saying this
  • 24:58
made this clear last year he was saying
  • 24:59
the political correctness is a way for
  • 25:01
the left to shut down debate by shutting
  • 25:02
down the bait they actually opened the
  • 25:03
door to the all right because they say
  • 25:04
you can't ask certain questions then the
  • 25:06
questions get asked they shut it down
  • 25:07
and people go wait I'll just look online
  • 25:09
for the answer and the first answer they
  • 25:10
find might be something from an
  • 25:11
all-right website and they start to take
  • 25:12
it more seriously right this is
  • 25:14
something Steven Pinker said so let's
  • 25:15
call them all right and shut him down
  • 25:16
    there's something that's the most
  • 25:18
nefarious of all when it comes to these
  • 25:19
sort of de facto playing off each other
  • 25:22
political lines between the far left and
  • 25:24
the alright and that is that they
  • 25:25
    actually mirror themselves in politics
  • 25:27
and culture they both have an identity
  • 25:29
politics view as I say the left's view
  • 25:30
of American politics is that Americans
  • 25:32
    from
  • 25:32
identified by group Americans are black
  • 25:35
or Hispanic or white or green or Jewish
  • 25:38
or lesbian or in the best of all
  • 25:40
possible worlds a half Native American
  • 25:42
half black little person who is
  • 25:44
gender-fluid right if you if you're on
  • 25:47
the left you don't describe people by
  • 25:48
their belief system or by what they do
  • 25:49
you describe them by their attributes
  • 25:51
you describe them by group attributes
  • 25:52
and they have a whole intersectional
  • 25:54
    hierarchy deciding how victimized you
  • 25:56
are based on how many of these boxes you
  • 25:57
check the only difference between the
  • 25:59
left and the alt-right is that they
  • 26:00
reverse the hierarchy meaning that the
  • 26:02
left thinks that hierarchy is bad right
  • 26:03
they create this hierarchy where white
  • 26:05
people are the most powerful and then
  • 26:06
progressively guava way down at the
  • 26:07
bottom he gets the LGBT people and those
  • 26:09
are the people who are the least
  • 26:09
powerful according to this hierarchy and
  • 26:11
they say that hierarchy is bad which
  • 26:13
just flipped the hierarchy and then you
  • 26:15
have the alright they say no no the
  • 26:16
hierarchy is good and we should keep the
  • 26:18
hierarchy the way that it is and then
  • 26:19
there is all the rest of us who are like
  • 26:21
what hierarchy there shouldn't be a
  • 26:22
hierarchy what the hell are you talking
  • 26:24
    about
  • 26:24
we're individuals within a free country
  • 26:27
    [Music]
  • 26:32
just wanted to play a jingle never get
  • 26:35
to play the all tried jingles anymore
  • 26:36
yeah this easy makes a very valid point
  • 26:39
yeah okay just kind of you kind of start
  • 26:44
to forget about with all these diss
  • 26:45
arguments and debates going on we live
  • 26:47
    in a free country
  • 26:49
what hierarchy what are we talking about
  • 26:51
here exactly so I you know the thing is
  • 26:55
you know we tried to play Ben Shapiro's
  • 26:56
clips I remember I had only the first
  • 26:59
ones it was years and years ago and you
  • 27:01
hated him and you didn't want the clips
  • 27:04
and then you started places and I don't
  • 27:05
liked it I don't like his his speed
  • 27:09
talking no no no it really needs to be
  • 27:11
    sorrel
  • 27:12
it's got to be cut by about I think if
  • 27:15
    you'd go a point 8 X then you're kind of
  • 27:18
in the in the strike zone you might get
  • 27:20
into the point where you can understand
  • 27:22
it but you have to be so it is a way to
  • 27:24
glue your attention cuz you won't hear a
  • 27:26
word he says if you're not kind of clued
  • 27:29
in but I have to admire the guy for the
  • 27:32
career he's made out of himself despite
  • 27:35
the fact that he went to UCLA for the M
  • 27:38
for the identity politics which of
  • 27:41
course is what the Democrats are doing
  • 27:43
that this cycle and I guess everyone
  • 27:46
does it all the time but it's pretty
  • 27:47
obvious you know the things that I've
  • 27:49
been talking about with Mo is that I
  • 27:51
think all the Democrats know that they
  • 27:54
need the black vote and we've studied
  • 27:56
long enough here on the show that you
  • 27:59
know they're going after the black women
  • 28:01
and they're the ones that are going to
  • 28:03
    activate as it's called they're
  • 28:05
activating the black women so how are
  • 28:07
they going to activate them well the
  • 28:09
first thing you need to do is make sure
  • 28:10
you get all black women and all black
  • 28:13
women you know that means it's women WM
  • 28:16
X n I'm not kidding WM x end because if
  • 28:21
you do all black women that also
  • 28:23
includes the black trans women and this
  • 28:27
black cysts women and they're being
  • 28:29
    activated
  • 28:31
pervasive attacks on our community our
  • 28:34
    identities and our lives
  • 28:37
slap trans and sis women's becomes
  • 28:39
    gender non-conforming and non-binary
  • 28:42
vote remains at the forefront of each
  • 28:45
and every social movement to hold this
  • 28:48
    country accountable we are progressive
  • 28:50
black leaders who are not impressed by
  • 28:53
political theater we know that big
  • 28:55
things happen when black women come
  • 28:57
together and take our own space and the
  • 29:00
political process and though no one
  • 29:02
person could hold all our aspirations
  • 29:04
and the hopes for president there is one
  • 29:07
leader who we believe will work with
  • 29:09
that that candidate is senator Elizabeth
  • 29:12
Warren she has a track record of taking
  • 29:15
on the predatory policies to harm our
  • 29:18
communities we've come together as a
  • 29:21
collective voice and we hope to
  • 29:23
    encourage others especially black women
  • 29:25
and gender non-conforming both to join
  • 29:28
us we are all in for warmth and if you
  • 29:30
are to go to black woman force org sign
  • 29:34
the endorsement statement and join us
  • 29:35
there you go Liz Warren who says black
  • 29:38
trans women are the backbone of our
  • 29:41
democracy I wish I had a clue less news
  • 29:45
to me unless she tweeted that I wish I
  • 29:47
had a clip of it but she tweeted that
  • 29:49
but yeah so this is this is the group
  • 29:50
    that's being activated for Elizabeth
  • 29:52
Warren but we need to stay with the
  • 29:55
obvious identity politics helped by the
  • 30:00
    Democrat parties mainstream media
  • 30:02
helpers who are bountiful at the top of
  • 30:06
the list would be Chuck Chuck Todd of
  • 30:08
the Chuck Todd cast on the MSNBC and
  • 30:11
yeah someone sent me this clip and I'm
  • 30:14
listening to it like does anyone else
  • 30:17
maybe it's just me but what this guy is
  • 30:19
    about yeah
  • 30:21
I don't need that affirmation from you
  • 30:25
this is the most one of the most racist
  • 30:27
things I've heard guns and climate I'm
  • 30:30
    sorry they're talking about Michael
  • 30:33
    Bloomberg supposedly supposedly jumping
  • 30:36
into the race so let's look at the Plus
  • 30:39
the pros and the cons guns and climate
  • 30:41
    whoo
  • 30:42
to his left well beta beta was longer I
  • 30:49
mean the governor burgers embraces a
  • 30:55
green know news embrace tired I agree
  • 30:57
that's one area where he actually is
  • 30:59
more to the center than she is in the
  • 31:01
smoke-filled room you'd say on paper
  • 31:03
Bloomberg has the right balance of what
  • 31:06
you want to win a broad election maybe
  • 31:08
not a deep election but if you're trying
  • 31:10
to win the suburban the X sub urban
  • 31:12
Republican which by the way Michael
  • 31:14
Bloomberg's an ex suburban arguably an X
  • 31:16
orbit Republican and at the same time
  • 31:19
you care about these core progressive
  • 31:22
issues like guns and climate it ain't
  • 31:27
just somebody buying an elective Michael
  • 31:29
Bloomberg as the nominee in western
  • 31:31
Pennsylvania I know what you're thinking
  • 31:33
the suburbs of Michigan Michigan suburbs
  • 31:37
the Ohio suburbs the Wisconsin suburbs a
  • 31:39
there's only one honey made farm it's
  • 31:41
the same running mate Joe Biden has to
  • 31:42
pick it it's the same money make food
  • 31:43
better Judy footages his pick it Stacey
  • 31:45
Abrams by the way hey there's nobody
  • 31:48
else that you Bloomberg can match up
  • 31:50
with me someone got this nomination then
  • 31:51
Stacey Abrams why I think he needs a
  • 31:57
diversity on the ticket person a caller
  • 31:59
no now when Chuck Todd says it like this
  • 32:03
you need a person of color on the ticket
  • 32:06
excuse me is that not the definition of
  • 32:09
a token black is that exactly what he's
  • 32:12
saying pretty much what do you expect
  • 32:16
from Chuck he looks like a racist he
  • 32:20
does he does have kind of that scruff
  • 32:23
Nazi look doesn't he get that short
  • 32:25
haircut the whole thing yeah I was just
  • 32:28
kind of like wow man yes well first of
  • 32:39
all blue a play that Bloomberg
  • 32:40
announcement of a democracy now thought
  • 32:43
of it this is the Bloomberg on democracy
  • 32:45
now the billionaire former New York City
  • 32:47
    Mayor Michael Bloomberg is reportedly
  • 32:49
preparing to jump into the 2020
  • 32:51
presidential race the New York Times
  • 32:53
    reports Bloomberg
  • 32:55
sent staffers to Alabama to gather
  • 32:57
signatures in order to qualify him for
  • 33:00
the primary his possible 2020 bid comes
  • 33:03
as he's reportedly skeptical that former
  • 33:06
Vice President Joe Biden can beat out
  • 33:08
    his progressive challengers
  • 33:10
    Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren
  • 33:12
and Vermont senator Bernie Sanders in
  • 33:15
the Democratic primary you know it helps
  • 33:17
it out if you plug both those channels
  • 33:19
in what the hell was that I was gonna
  • 33:22
    charge about that huh
  • 33:23
so democracy now did decide to do a
  • 33:25
remote I'm already there mmm YUM do tell
  • 33:32
there at some get some I think there's
  • 33:36
South Carolina there's some green new
  • 33:40
deal the convention sandy was there with
  • 33:44
with Bernie and yeah it was a big deal
  • 33:46
they were there live yeah and they had a
  • 33:49
ground loop the entire show on stage to
  • 33:53
throughout the microphones and in the
  • 33:56
studio the funny thing was when they
  • 33:58
went to their clips which they did there
  • 34:00
was around Luke was gone was gone yes it
  • 34:02
was a Mike summers a Mike Mike Mike
  • 34:04
ground loop and so hey this was live
  • 34:07
artistic because I this is buzzing dice
  • 34:13
    amateur hour
  • 34:15
that's really where I saw by it sitting
  • 34:17
there all the clips I'm from Democracy
  • 34:18
Now all of them have that huh
  • 34:20
well I separate when they cut to really
  • 34:23
cut to a package yeah they all buzzy so
  • 34:34
tight they all buzzy I love it but they
  • 34:38
all buzzy bro yeah so Bloomberg the way
  • 34:42
they see it is Bloomberg is like a right
  • 34:44
winger oh they hate him this this will
  • 34:48
    not stand
  • 34:49
no no everyone hates him in fact in
  • 34:52
California we now are hating him all the
  • 34:54
anti Jul commercials that were part of
  • 34:56
this scheme that you've done covered
  • 34:58
that nobody else you noticed yeah all
  • 35:00
the anti Jul commercials and there's
  • 35:02
tons them cuz there's some law they're
  • 35:04
trying to pass it back off some mm-hmm
  • 35:07
off alright the bottom in bait
  • 35:09
letters not like a little bitty thing at
  • 35:10
the bottom big giant letters sponsored
  • 35:13
by Michael Bloomberg oh yeah huh
  • 35:16
California budget you know the guys he's
  • 35:19
the guy who would unless you have a big
  • 35:20
coupler so duh I mean this guy it's
  • 35:23
worse it was the guy who wouldn't let
  • 35:25
poor people have a sugary drink because
  • 35:28
poor people drink shitty ass sugary
  • 35:30
drinks but rich people could have all
  • 35:32
the nasty saps that are filled with
  • 35:35
sugars and you know huge sugar based
  • 35:39
called flavored coffees to their heart's
  • 35:42
extent extended extent if their heart's
  • 35:46
desire yeah that's better it's even
  • 35:49
better yeah well the point is this guy
  • 35:52
hasn't this guy's got no legs what we
  • 35:55
need to do is we don't that's that's why
  • 35:56
    so short ah
  • 35:57
and here comes Trump's nickname for
  • 36:00
Michael Bloomberg there is nobody I
  • 36:02
grabbed the run against that little
  • 36:04
    Michael Michael 2008
  • 36:12
pregnancy bias lawsuit the 72 moms
  • 36:16
versus Bloomberg this was 72 current and
  • 36:20
    former female employees who were
  • 36:22
pregnant while it became pregnant while
  • 36:24
    working at Bloomberg his financial
  • 36:26
    service company claimed the company
  • 36:28
    discriminates discriminated against them
  • 36:31
by decreasing their pay demoting them
  • 36:33
and excluding them from other employment
  • 36:35
    opportunities after they became pregnant
  • 36:37
one and this is from ABC News one
  • 36:40
    complaint alleges that a Bloomberg
  • 36:41
senior executive upon hearing that two
  • 36:43
of his female executives had become
  • 36:45
    pregnant remarked
  • 36:46
I'm not having any pregnant bitches
  • 36:48
working for me and instructed another
  • 36:51
executive to terminate them and then you
  • 36:54
know and apparently the the culture was
  • 36:57
saying things like you're not committed
  • 36:59
you don't want to be here cuz that's you
  • 37:01
got pregnant it was a huge scandal but
  • 37:04
yeah it was 11 years ago but I think
  • 37:06
they should do some digging don't you oh
  • 37:09
yeah no if he gets anywhere they're
  • 37:11
gonna start doing some digging I mean I
  • 37:12
wasn't ulsi back up their shield last
  • 37:14
night I was looking at I mean the the
  • 37:19
there's a medium article written by
  • 37:21
someone who's I guess is read a lot over
  • 37:24
there Democrat and it just is a hate him
  • 37:28
hate him why would we elect this other
  • 37:31
white smil billionaire yeah and then
  • 37:35
what was it the De Niro think I have it
  • 37:38
here where is that he's a pig now it was
  • 37:42
even better than that where did my De
  • 37:43
Niro go hold on a second
  • 37:46
    uhh
  • 37:49
    that's
  • 37:52
did I lose that clip oh man it was a
  • 37:55
good clip - hi Mandy here's the next
  • 37:59
    show ah shoot
  • 38:01
never had to be with joy read home I
  • 38:04
said did this this this kid this will
  • 38:06
not stand you may just have it miss got
  • 38:08
it yes I got it early label I got it
  • 38:10
this is DeNiro bitching about Trump
  • 38:13
bitching about Giuliani on MSNBC joy
  • 38:16
reads show of course and this was sent
  • 38:19
to me as the quintessential example of
  • 38:22
what you set by yourself major cope
  • 38:25
daughter helped ie the Dutch proverb you
  • 38:27
are what you accuse others of being not
  • 38:31
    a billionaire he's a fake president he
  • 38:33
calls everything else fake because he
  • 38:35
    knows he's fake he projects he's a
  • 38:37
classic rather than what you call it
  • 38:39
everything that he says that negative
  • 38:41
about other things or other people is
  • 38:44
what he's saying about himself so he's
  • 38:47
fake he's a loser he is a genuine loser
  • 38:50
and to get somebody who's real like
  • 38:54
Bloomberg who's a lot more and this guy
  • 38:59
says he's worth three something billion
  • 39:01
we don't even know if he had he's just a
  • 39:02
total huckster he's a hustler yeah yeah
  • 39:07
    yeah totally I agree
  • 39:09
Mike's got fifty billion this guy is a
  • 39:11
huckster I guess I guess you need to be
  • 39:13
a billionaire now according to De Niro
  • 39:15
to become president hustler yeah I think
  • 39:19
one of the things that angers him
  • 39:20
probably the most is it people like you
  • 39:21
people from which he craves to be a part
  • 39:24
of your world he craves to be part of
  • 39:26
the world of the you know of the famous
  • 39:28
of the the people that are actors or I
  • 39:31
love how this joy read is just making
  • 39:34
this up this is her opinion but he just
  • 39:37
craves that fleet like he wants to be a
  • 39:39
part of your world and the rejection
  • 39:41
from people like you I think is one of
  • 39:42
the thing mid bugs in the mouse how
  • 39:45
could you not want I mean when I was in
  • 39:46
New York before you know before before
  • 39:48
he was doing all this time never anyone
  • 39:50
have anything to do with him I mean I
  • 39:51
heard he's around he wants to take a
  • 39:53
picture you know what I think do I have
  • 39:54
nothing to do with him he's a fool
  • 39:55
    everybody
  • 39:57
knew that but I mean now he'd call up
  • 40:00
the tabloids and say he's the agent but
  • 40:02
he called up Forbes magazine that's
  • 40:04
crazy yeah oh that never happens in
  • 40:07
    Hollywood people bought it yeah
  • 40:09
absolutely last Monday before I go to
  • 40:11
the movie what do you make a Giuliani
  • 40:13
I think he lost his mind I think he's
  • 40:15
he's what a shame because he had
  • 40:18
something going and then he just
  • 40:20
prostituted himself to work with Trump I
  • 40:23
mean guys of how could he do that I'd I
  • 40:25
have no understanding of how he could he
  • 40:28
was a guy who used to prosecute people
  • 40:29
with the RICO Act and so on and now he's
  • 40:32
part of a criminal family it's you know
  • 40:35
he's the Tom Hagen nice reference to the
  • 40:39
Godfather yeah I mean what did the Nero
  • 40:43
actually say there you know this is just
  • 40:45
spouting about how much he hates him and
  • 40:47
nobody liked him and then we always
  • 40:49
thought he was a fool and uh and he
  • 40:51
clearly wants to be part of my world I
  • 40:54
don't think so no I don't think so
  • 40:56
    either
  • 40:57
that's what De Niro thinks he's just
  • 41:03
nuts I got this Helen me Helen Mirren
  • 41:11
this is actually a very good exercise
  • 41:13
I'm happy that Stephen Colbert did this
  • 41:15
because it showed you immediately the
  • 41:18
fallacy of this this Ukraine impeachment
  • 41:22
bullcrap so we had Helen Mirren and Ian
  • 41:26
McKellen I think they have a movie
  • 41:28
together miss the Irishman no no that's
  • 41:30
dinero's movie they have a movie
  • 41:31
    together there's always a there's always
  • 41:33
there's always a movie they got there
  • 41:35
together and so they come out and
  • 41:37
    they're and they're promoting their
  • 41:42
movie and Colbert then has this genius
  • 41:45
idea since you know Trump has said that
  • 41:48
you know you got to read the transcript
  • 41:50
because if you don't read the transcript
  • 41:51
then you know you'd have no context you
  • 41:53
don't understand it was a it was a
  • 41:55
beautiful look phone call it was a
  • 41:56
pretty it was a perfect perfect phone
  • 41:59
call everything could not have been more
  • 42:00
perfect it was just beautiful and so I
  • 42:04
will just read to you this is what makes
  • 42:06
it interesting I'm not reading the
  • 42:09
    actual PDF
  • 42:10
the only lines that matter for this this
  • 42:12
gambit that Colbert did we are ready to
  • 42:15
this is the zalenski the Ukrainian
  • 42:18
president we are ready to continue to
  • 42:19
cooperate for the next step specifically
  • 42:22
we are almost ready to buy more javelins
  • 42:24
from the United States for defense
  • 42:25
purposes and then the president says I
  • 42:28
would like you to do us a favor though
  • 42:30
because our country has been through a
  • 42:31
lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it I
  • 42:33
would like you to find out what happened
  • 42:35
with this whole situation the situation
  • 42:37
with Ukraine they say CrowdStrike I
  • 42:39
guess you have one of your wealthy
  • 42:41
people the server they say Ukraine
  • 42:42
Ukraine has it there are a lot of things
  • 42:44
that went on the whole situation I think
  • 42:46
you're surrounding yourself with some of
  • 42:48
the same people and so you know nothing
  • 42:50
about Biden in this whole paragraph and
  • 42:53
he winds up by saying whatever you can
  • 42:55
do it's very important that you do it if
  • 42:57
that's possible and then zalenski you
  • 42:59
know the Biden thing comes up way down
  • 43:01
at the bottom so but that's that's the
  • 43:04
piece that they're going to reenact
  • 43:06
where Trump asks for this favor for this
  • 43:09
    for Ukraine information about cried
  • 43:12
    CrowdStrike nothing about the Biden's
  • 43:14
yet here's how its presented on
  • 43:16
television Donald Trump you may have
  • 43:19
heard released a transcript of him
  • 43:21
    essentially extorting the Ukrainian
  • 43:23
president now he says you're very clear
  • 43:32
what he just said he said Trump is
  • 43:35
asking for a favor for him to launch the
  • 43:38
investigation on the Biden's which is in
  • 43:41
the literal transcript not true the
  • 43:44
    favor is asked about CrowdStrike
  • 43:46
Ukraine the server the corrupt the
  • 43:48
corruption going on in Ukraine President
  • 43:56
Biden's say what I'm listening to her
  • 44:00
going yeah yeah yeah and they're
  • 44:02
agreeing with each other and she's like
  • 44:04
acting the fool yeah now he says perfect
  • 44:07
phone call perfectly innocent and read
  • 44:10
it on air in a fireside chat and he
  • 44:14
thinks that when he reads it out loud
  • 44:15
it'll it'll suddenly seem so innocent
  • 44:18
    that you won't
  • 44:20
want him removed from office and since I
  • 44:24
have two of the greatest living actors
  • 44:25
    right here I was wondering
  • 44:31
I will be the judge but whether you're
  • 44:38
innocent or guilty where after you read
  • 44:40
the line let me set the scene we'll go
  • 44:44
back and forth here okay let me let me
  • 44:45
let me set the scene the scene is you're
  • 44:47
on the phone with the Ukrainian
  • 44:49
president his country's been invaded by
  • 44:51
the Russians you've got the military aid
  • 44:53
he needs but you're not gonna give it to
  • 44:55
him notice notice what he's saying here
  • 44:57
his country's been invaded by the
  • 44:59
Russians Trump has the military aid that
  • 45:04
you need a bunch of javelins okay I mean
  • 45:08
this is unbelievable you're on the phone
  • 45:10
    with the Ukrainian president his
  • 45:12
country's been invaded by the Russians
  • 45:14
you've got the military aid he needs but
  • 45:16
you're not gonna give it to him I guess
  • 45:18
Russia's out now now that he got the
  • 45:20
military aid must be over unless you get
  • 45:22
the pro quo back this is what you say
  • 45:25
after he says I would like the javelin
  • 45:27
missiles Helen if you would try this um
  • 45:30
actually actually what did what the guy
  • 45:33
said was we are almost ready to buy more
  • 45:37
javelins from the United States for
  • 45:39
    defense purposes president his country's
  • 45:42
been invaded by the Russians you've got
  • 45:44
the military aid he needs but you're not
  • 45:46
gonna give it to them unless you get the
  • 45:48
pro quo back this is what you say after
  • 45:51
he says I would like the javelin
  • 45:53
missiles Helen if you would try this
  • 45:55
    some casually
  • 46:00
miss olanski I'd like you to do us a
  • 46:05
    favor though guilty
  • 46:12
    [Music]
  • 46:13
in I'd like you to do us a favor though
  • 46:19
and he holds his fingers up like a gun
  • 46:21
    [Laughter]
  • 46:24
now officially they should you know it
  • 46:27
Academy Awards BAFTAs should all be
  • 46:29
rescinded their horrible actors I would
  • 46:42
like the javelin missiles please I mean
  • 46:51
and they just go on and on and the whole
  • 46:54
thing is based on a bullshit lie it's
  • 46:57
not even from the distrain script so uh
  • 47:00
well I can't wait to hear Trump reads
  • 47:02
that line I mean wow it's hard to watch
  • 47:07
the de Colbert show cuz it's so full of
  • 47:10
shit I mean but it's does he even know
  • 47:13
that that's just not what the transcript
  • 47:15
says I don't care if anyone reads it
  • 47:17
transfer characteristic I don't care but
  • 47:21
the comedy writers in the back room or
  • 47:23
dreaming these skits up and they're I
  • 47:26
think it's the funny ideas that we
  • 47:27
should do well it's not - if any writer
  • 47:29
back there is going well this is not
  • 47:31
exactly what happened they would be
  • 47:33
excoriated say so what that's not the
  • 47:35
point we're trying to get a laugh here
  • 47:36
    well that's true
  • 47:40
just but it is a it does affect the
  • 47:42
    public discourse and it's very
  • 47:44
irresponsible as far as I'm concerned
  • 47:46
there's plenty of ways to get laughs
  • 47:48
there's plenty of jokes out there this
  • 47:50
writers can write good material they
  • 47:51
don't have to lie to the public and
  • 47:53
    mislead people no
  • 47:56
Ferrier it's just and it's just shameful
  • 47:59
    but it's just us
  • 48:01
mmm maybe let's just stick with the 2020
  • 48:09
sandy was shilling for Bernie on the
  • 48:12
    aforementioned
  • 48:14
    what was that the
  • 48:18
the climate in that event down in South
  • 48:21
Carolina were right right right now with
  • 48:24
with the ground loop buzz on a OC
  • 48:30
dressed in a very interesting outfit
  • 48:33
just from a television and stage
  • 48:36
perspective a long green dress about
  • 48:39
calf high so under the long and well
  • 48:43
below the knees with browns with no
  • 48:46
black stockings or whatever they were in
  • 48:48
black shoes and it was a it was a very
  • 48:53
this was a different outfit for her and
  • 48:56
I'm not and it was Green of course which
  • 48:57
I guess was for the green new deal but
  • 49:00
then when she had kind of this flowy
  • 49:02
motion and then she went into this whole
  • 49:04
    thing about politicians which she
  • 49:07
repeated later onstage or maybe was
  • 49:09
earlier at a Bernie rally but this was a
  • 49:11
much better version as she's just
  • 49:13
talking about how heartbreaking it is
  • 49:15
when politicians lie to you and so when
  • 49:19
you elect a politician and then they let
  • 49:22
you down it feels like rejection it
  • 49:25
feels like heartbreak it feels like
  • 49:28
betrayal and it feels like I never want
  • 49:31
to love again I never want to love again
  • 49:40
by the way let's play the whole thing
  • 49:42
and it feels like I never want to love
  • 49:44
again that's what that feels like and so
  • 49:48
I understand how that feels because I
  • 49:51
felt that way but you know what happens
  • 49:54
when you say I never want to love again
  • 49:56
your heart gets black and you turn angry
  • 50:00
and you get very anxious I'm gonna take
  • 50:04
    my clip of the day
  • 50:10
    [Music]
  • 50:22
    [Music]
  • 50:23
    yes
  • 50:27
and that's our new tune whenever we play
  • 50:31
a good a OC clip like that that is the
  • 50:34
funniest clip for a while can you
  • 50:36
believe that dress looked expensive to
  • 50:43
me all her stuff is very it's it's owed
  • 50:45
Couture man it's not off the rack she's
  • 50:48
got good stuff definitely getting some
  • 50:50
good stuff well she's got the right
  • 50:52
figure for it she can look good in it
  • 50:54
    you know
  • 50:55
thanks sir and get some good kudos from
  • 50:58
the show get some plugs for the labels
  • 51:00
yeah yeah I do they do profile have to
  • 51:04
look at some of the fashion mags Eve how
  • 51:06
much they highlight her and what she's
  • 51:07
wearing I know that they're just
  • 51:09
beginning it'll once they figure this
  • 51:11
out that they can buy her oh she's
  • 51:13
perfect with loners you know she's of
  • 51:16
course it's loners yeah same dress twice
  • 51:20
can you imagine that would be crazy like
  • 51:22
judy woodruff who pushed off or she's
  • 51:25
    maybe she's on vacation but I don't
  • 51:26
really know hmm interesting they got
  • 51:29
some dour woman out doing the show
  • 51:31
younger not one of the regulars just a
  • 51:33
new new no they got you new two or three
  • 51:35
new people on there that are just there
  • 51:36
all the time no I think they've done a
  • 51:39
revamp now you you mentioned this in the
  • 51:41
in the newsletter the the big Greta head
  • 51:47
in San Francisco oh yeah the big mural I
  • 51:50
figured unless you have one I have I
  • 51:52
think it's a local report but I thought
  • 51:54
it was rather interesting instead kind
  • 51:56
of contrast your comments which were
  • 51:58
what the heck we could have had so many
  • 52:01
giant heads of so many interesting but
  • 52:04
you put a big head of this girl on
  • 52:06
therefore she's never even been to San
  • 52:08
Francisco as far as I know and I don't
  • 52:11
even know if she has no she hasn't
  • 52:13
well we would have known if she'd been
  • 52:15
to San Francisco because she'd have the
  • 52:17
key to the city hanging around her neck
  • 52:19
or more than to poop to the city you
  • 52:21
were looking at the newest addition to
  • 52:23
the San Francisco skyline a mural
  • 52:26
designed to draw attention to climate
  • 52:27
    change
  • 52:28
high above Mason streets ten stories up
  • 52:33
on the side of the native sons building
  • 52:35
near Union Square address Petrucelli an
  • 52:38
    internationally renowned artist who goes
  • 52:40
by Cobra is painting a teenage girl with
  • 52:42
big blue eyes and a Mona Lisa smile it's
  • 52:47
    a mural of Greta thunder'd she's a
  • 52:50
sixteen year old from Sweden who has
  • 52:51
inspired young people all over the world
  • 52:53
to take to the streets and let older
  • 52:55
people know they want climate change to
  • 52:57
be taken seriously what I want to people
  • 52:59
is to realize that we have to do
  • 53:01
something for the world otherwise this
  • 53:03
is the beginning of our extinction
  • 53:05
    Cobras paintings often provoke reactions
  • 53:08
this one is a little more political in
  • 53:10
some kind of way because I want them to
  • 53:11
think about it to create conversation
  • 53:13
with the friends and everything happens
  • 53:15
in the mural of Greta say what is it
  • 53:17
that about about climate change cobra is
  • 53:19
donating his time for this cars the
  • 53:21
environmental nonprofit one out sorry I
  • 53:24
don't believe that for a minute what
  • 53:26
that he's donating it yeah no I don't
  • 53:29
either I mean you you have to get
  • 53:31
permits even if you're gonna do this
  • 53:33
kind of stuff it's not that so it's got
  • 53:34
to be a city a city initiative I think
  • 53:38
could be an NGO say what is it that
  • 53:43
about about climate change cobra is
  • 53:45
donating his time for this cars the
  • 53:47
    environmental nonprofit one atmosphere
  • 53:49
is buying the paint you have people of
  • 53:51
public art and it hits him in the heart
  • 53:53
hoping people will be inspired not just
  • 53:54
to gawk but to act she's a child at the
  • 53:58
end of the day it's a child that's
  • 53:59
telling us what to do I hope that people
  • 54:02
are touched by this image and that they
  • 54:04
    understand the innocence and the
  • 54:06
strength and the power of her message
  • 54:07
and it really it helps people to bring
  • 54:09
about some change in their own lives and
  • 54:11
also get involved politically and bring
  • 54:13
about changes you know at a national and
  • 54:15
international level the Greta mural is
  • 54:17
expected to be completed by early next
  • 54:19
week there you go it's an eyesore they
  • 54:25
did the No Agenda album art it would be
  • 54:27
cool and that would be great on the side
  • 54:29
    of a building
  • 54:31
the credit do have necks it would be
  • 54:33
better wouldn't it be less of an eyesore
  • 54:35
that's for sure yeah so there's this
  • 54:38
book that came out oh they're not my
  • 54:40
anonymous book the anonymous book yes
  • 54:43
yes I'm glad you're covering this and so
  • 54:45
the thing is who the hell wrote this
  • 54:47
book Steve put genic says he knows oh
  • 54:52
    really
  • 54:53
is this the Pacino clip this is the knob
  • 54:57
before you play it yeah I want to say
  • 54:59
you're walking all over my beat yeah you
  • 55:02
were on the road that's true
  • 55:06
pichan ik was visibly shaken huh
  • 55:10
extremely nervous I haven't seen this
  • 55:12
one yet so he was stammering he was
  • 55:14
making the errors in his sentence
  • 55:16
structures he was not happy about having
  • 55:18
to reveal this guy Wow and he believes
  • 55:20
that that that Bolton was the guy who is
  • 55:23
anonymous it which makes nothing but
  • 55:25
sesame it had some backup clips talking
  • 55:27
about this this this book but let's play
  • 55:29
the pitch any clip first hi this is dr.
  • 55:32
P genic and today I want to talk about
  • 55:34
John Bolton the Benedict Arnold of
  • 55:37
America now why do I say that why a book
  • 55:40
came out that's was written by anonymous
  • 55:43
and it's written about the Trump
  • 55:46
administration and how childish they are
  • 55:48
how pure are and how effective they are
  • 55:51
in fact John Bolton calls the president
  • 55:54
    for twelve-year-old but doesn't know
  • 55:55
what his mental condition is I happen to
  • 55:58
know John Bolton and I think he's a
  • 56:00
    sociopath but it's an intelligence
  • 56:02
operative what I did was to create
  • 56:04
    agitation propaganda I purposely created
  • 56:07
a proposal for my own book which will
  • 56:10
come out in a few weeks which talks
  • 56:12
about the real Jack Ryan and the person
  • 56:14
who really implemented a lot of the coos
  • 56:17
and counter coos in this administration
  • 56:20
now I'm doing another cool what I'm
  • 56:22
trying to do is to get John Bolton blown
  • 56:25
out of the water because he came in as
  • 56:28
an anonymous writer what and how did I
  • 56:31
figure that out number one the passages
  • 56:34
that came out and were written in the
  • 56:36
New York Times and Washington Post sat
  • 56:38
the following thanks to our great 9/11 a
  • 56:41
situation we have gone into now a pure
  • 56:44
    oil situation or self-destructive
  • 56:46
situation in other words what John had
  • 56:48
written and the only person who could
  • 56:50
write that with somebody deeply involved
  • 56:52
in 9/11 when I wrote my proposal and
  • 56:55
presented it to have said and I'll talk
  • 56:57
about her shed in a minute they turned
  • 56:59
me down immediately because they knew
  • 57:01
that the history of the real Jack Ryan
  • 57:03
was was involved in breaking up the 9/11
  • 57:08
coup now let me say to you how this came
  • 57:11
    about
  • 57:12
    John Bolton's figure and personality
  • 57:15
fits what we call in the intelligence
  • 57:16
    world mice
  • 57:18
em standing for money I for ideology see
  • 57:22
for cash or for compromising efore ego
  • 57:26
    john needs the money
  • 57:28
he's ideologically always been a neocon
  • 57:30
see he's always been compromised by
  • 57:33
someone or an institution in this case
  • 57:36
Yale where you went to Yale and worked
  • 57:38
with Bob Woodward and John Kerry who
  • 57:42
were now on ABC News and NBC News and
  • 57:44
the last one was ego his ego is immense
  • 57:48
Karl Ford one of my intelligence
  • 57:51
    operatives said correctly that John
  • 57:53
needed to always suck up to the superior
  • 57:57
and always deprecated the bottom what
  • 58:00
was that acronym we had mice mice
  • 58:05
money something compromise and he don't
  • 58:09
go and they certainly fits the bill I I
  • 58:11
by the way the book he's talking about
  • 58:12
I've read parts of botanics book he is
  • 58:19
the real Jack Ryan his fantastic book
  • 58:22
well in in this case this book a warning
  • 58:25
by anonymous and which is highlighted
  • 58:27
and coincidentally in the New York Times
  • 58:29
in their book review of course as one
  • 58:32
does times headlined a book review in a
  • 58:35
warning anonymous author makes a case
  • 58:38
against re-election and and so they so I
  • 58:42
was thinking it makes a lot of sense
  • 58:45
that was bolt and who wrote the
  • 58:46
anonymous piece because he was fired
  • 58:48
shortly thereafter somebody who got wind
  • 58:49
of it yeah guys and in in certain
  • 58:53
circles you can find out who these
  • 58:55
    people are there's some publishing
  • 58:57
circles I know for ya you must have yeah
  • 59:00
and speech annex got a bunch enough old
  • 59:02
    contacts old-timers and they it's a
  • 59:05
gossip ring and so they could find out
  • 59:07
who yeah I need any has been actively
  • 59:10
pitching I know cuz I spoke to him
  • 59:12
before Allah he has been actively
  • 59:14
pitching his book to all the big the big
  • 59:17
publisher so I'm sure that he was
  • 59:18
talking to people and got enough to to
  • 59:20
put it all together right there yes
  • 59:23
absolutely I think there's any doubt
  • 59:24
about but let's listen to some some
  • 59:26
Bolton related rundown said I picked up
  • 59:30
here's one from CBS n this is the Bolton
  • 59:33
to testify rundown I want to bring in
  • 59:35
Siobhan Hughes she's a Capitol Hill
  • 59:37
reporter for The Wall Street Journal and
  • 59:39
joins us now so Siobhan thank you for
  • 59:41
joining us you know a lawyer for John
  • 59:43
Bolton says that his client has new
  • 59:44
    information on these meetings with
  • 59:45
Ukraine Bolton of course is a former
  • 59:48
    national security adviser I'm curious
  • 59:49
what your sources are telling you about
  • 59:50
the type of information both might have
  • 59:52
so we don't know exactly what John
  • 59:55
Bolton knows but what we do know is that
  • 59:57
he was well positioned to have a type of
  • 1:00:00
access that none of the witnesses has so
  • 1:00:02
far had as the national security adviser
  • 1:00:05
    John Bolden was essentially Donald
  • 1:00:07
    Trump's right-hand man on national
  • 1:00:09
security issues would have been in the
  • 1:00:11
room with him also in the room with
  • 1:00:13
other key players like Mick Mulvaney
  • 1:00:15
    Gordon Sandland mr. bolt
  • 1:00:18
has a reputation for being very direct
  • 1:00:21
very forthcoming even Democrats say that
  • 1:00:23
if they don't always agree with his
  • 1:00:25
politics they can trust his information
  • 1:00:27
yeah I did catch some of this when I was
  • 1:00:30
watching some of the TV even in European
  • 1:00:32
news although not a lot about Trump at
  • 1:00:34
all as I mentioned previously a lot of
  • 1:00:37
people I call we call Bolton yeah we
  • 1:00:39
can't bone a Bolton does he he doesn't
  • 1:00:41
want to but we're gonna have to get him
  • 1:00:42
to testify he's the guy he can bring him
  • 1:00:44
that bolt and it's gonna bring her down
  • 1:00:47
yeah yeah Bolton's got a bad guy I mean
  • 1:00:52
nobody liked him to begin with you
  • 1:00:53
listen to the right-wing talkers and
  • 1:00:54
none of these guys could figure out how
  • 1:00:57
Bolton even did then in the end here's
  • 1:00:59
the question to ask but genic okay which
  • 1:01:02
is how did Bolton get his job in the
  • 1:01:05
White House to begin with who put him in
  • 1:01:07
there which one of the Stooges that was
  • 1:01:10
at mattis was it the guy before him
  • 1:01:12
right I'll ask him I'd like to know
  • 1:01:14
because there's no because all the
  • 1:01:16
right-wing talkers pretty much say the
  • 1:01:17
same thing how did Bolton get in here
  • 1:01:19
    he's a he's a neocon which this goes
  • 1:01:21
    against everything that Trump was
  • 1:01:23
running on you know he hated all these
  • 1:01:25
neo cons and he puts a neocon in as his
  • 1:01:28
national security adviser why mm-hmm and
  • 1:01:32
so that bond gets in there and he's just
  • 1:01:33
trying tennis and Britannic was not
  • 1:01:35
happy about Bolton being in their team
  • 1:01:37
from day one he was like get that guy
  • 1:01:39
out that guy's gotta get fired
  • 1:01:42
so so so Bolton you know becomes this
  • 1:01:45
    anonymous character which makes nothing
  • 1:01:46
but sense but whatever is the the second
  • 1:01:49
clip this is excerpts from the anonymous
  • 1:01:51
book on Democracy Now with our weather
  • 1:01:55
where that ground loop means a midnight
  • 1:01:58
self massacre that was the plan hatched
  • 1:02:01
    by some senior Trump administration
  • 1:02:03
    officials who considered resigning on
  • 1:02:06
mass last year to sound the alarm about
  • 1:02:10
    Trump's conduct they ultimately rejected
  • 1:02:13
the idea over concerns that would
  • 1:02:14
    further destabilize the government the
  • 1:02:17
aborted warning is one of a series of
  • 1:02:19
    revelations in the forthcoming book
  • 1:02:20
titled a warning its author is an
  • 1:02:23
    anonymous senior official within the
  • 1:02:26
    Trump administration who published an
  • 1:02:28
anonymous op-ed in The New York Times
  • 1:02:29
last year headlined I am part of the
  • 1:02:32
    resistance
  • 1:02:33
inside the Trump administration in the
  • 1:02:36
    book the author describes senior
  • 1:02:38
officials waking up and trying to
  • 1:02:40
    respond to Trump's overnight Twitter
  • 1:02:43
    announcements writing quote it's like
  • 1:02:45
showing up at the nursing home at
  • 1:02:47
daybreak to find your elderly uncle
  • 1:02:49
    running pantsless across the courtyard
  • 1:02:52
and cursing loudly about the cafeteria
  • 1:02:54
food as worried attendants tried to
  • 1:02:57
catch him ageism you're stunned amused
  • 1:03:01
and embarrassed all at the same time
  • 1:03:03
only your uncle probably wouldn't do it
  • 1:03:05
every single day his words aren't
  • 1:03:07
broadcast to the public and he doesn't
  • 1:03:09
have to lead the US government once he
  • 1:03:12
puts his pants on unquote the author
  • 1:03:14
also claims Trump once asked White House
  • 1:03:18
lawyers to write a bill to send to
  • 1:03:20
Congress aimed at reducing the number of
  • 1:03:22
federal judges after various judges had
  • 1:03:25
    thwarted Trump's policies Trump
  • 1:03:27
reportedly said quote can we just get
  • 1:03:29
rid of the judges let's get rid of the
  • 1:03:31
expletive judges there shouldn't be any
  • 1:03:34
at all really he said this according to
  • 1:03:37
the forthcoming book oh yeah that hum is
  • 1:03:43
fantastic I mean it's almost a format we
  • 1:03:47
need to have some home on our own show I
  • 1:03:48
    can't make home anymore I don't think
  • 1:03:51
it's all digital I don't know how they
  • 1:03:52
do it I'm driving around yesterday
  • 1:03:55
Mimi and I pointed out to her because
  • 1:03:57
I've got a bunch of college stations and
  • 1:03:59
I pointed this out and there's something
  • 1:04:01
you know people should podcasters maybe
  • 1:04:04
we should consider this I'm listening to
  • 1:04:07
klx the locale station or at Berkeley
  • 1:04:10
and the woman is doing a music and bunch
  • 1:04:13
of music but she has she has a very low
  • 1:04:16
musical bed underneath her mm-hmm when
  • 1:04:19
she's taught just announcing his beauty
  • 1:04:21
little music going on and I'm noticed
  • 1:04:23
and I used this trick once I was doing a
  • 1:04:25
weekend at one of the stations around
  • 1:04:27
here and I heard this year's everybody
  • 1:04:31
how you do it was a talk show rocking
  • 1:04:33
the band and it was I heard a bed
  • 1:04:36
underneath some guy who's doing a show
  • 1:04:39
and it was I still think his fabulous to
  • 1:04:41
listen to it was just a bunch of
  • 1:04:43
    bubbling it's like I'm like a little
  • 1:04:45
boiling pot oh you know Nick the rat has
  • 1:04:47
a cauldron type thing like that a
  • 1:04:49
culture fair brain you just have that
  • 1:04:51
going all he has it move I think with a
  • 1:04:53
lot of echo but you can just have it in
  • 1:04:55
the background as a little bed and and
  • 1:04:58
I'd point out to me Mia says I said only
  • 1:05:01
college stations do this cuz nobody else
  • 1:05:05
will allow it it's just not allowable
  • 1:05:08
for some reasons became a and I don't
  • 1:05:11
know why maybe you have a better handle
  • 1:05:12
    on it than I do
  • 1:05:13
a mainstream station that the engine
  • 1:05:15
nobody will let you do that I mean you
  • 1:05:18
can maybe once in a while you can get
  • 1:05:19
away with it and then you get chewed out
  • 1:05:21
later but they don't mainstream stations
  • 1:05:24
will not allow embed underneath anything
  • 1:05:27
they want to announce if we come on
  • 1:05:28
straight forward you can put a little
  • 1:05:29
echo on image some didn't go back to the
  • 1:05:31
music but you can't have that kind of
  • 1:05:33
    noise in the background
  • 1:05:34
you guys this you mean on a talk show on
  • 1:05:38
any show oh well the top 40 guys I got
  • 1:05:42
bubbles for us now right now I got
  • 1:05:43
someone farting in the bathtub it sounds
  • 1:05:46
really good on a top 40 radio station
  • 1:05:49
there's never a jock talking without
  • 1:05:52
music or some bed underneath them ever
  • 1:05:54
    that's that's the format but it's like
  • 1:05:57
we talked the other day like whoa what
  • 1:05:59
was that where they're doing music a
  • 1:06:01
    music bed a BCS yeah
  • 1:06:04
    that's isn't it's stupid I think doing
  • 1:06:07
it all over the yeah but they're doing
  • 1:06:09
it over the clips no that's a mistake
  • 1:06:16
they're playing it over the clips
  • 1:06:18
they're not playing it over the voice oh
  • 1:06:20
    Jesus
  • 1:06:21
I'm sorry Jesus has nothing to do with
  • 1:06:24
it but it's that stupid yeah maybe this
  • 1:06:27
is it better maybe this is better for us
  • 1:06:29
    we'll try this one there's a little
  • 1:06:30
bubbling yeah I hope you like here we go
  • 1:06:32
    how's that sir
  • 1:06:34
no it sounds like a couple of guys in
  • 1:06:36
the jacuzzi hey hey funny meeting you
  • 1:06:39
here story which is the yeah this
  • 1:06:46
resigning on mass story is a creation I
  • 1:06:50
don't believe a word of it resigning on
  • 1:06:52
mass everyone's gonna walk out yeah
  • 1:06:55
we're all gonna walk out let's do it cuz
  • 1:06:56
we all hate working here so much please
  • 1:06:58
that we're all gonna walk out on the
  • 1:07:00
President and then they said well we're
  • 1:07:02
not gonna do it because it may disrupt
  • 1:07:03
    the country too much
  • 1:07:04
I don't believe a word of it the thing
  • 1:07:07
that's pachán ik points out and maybe
  • 1:07:08
this is why he was nervous and I will
  • 1:07:10
    ask him about it
  • 1:07:11
aside obviously from who hired bolton
  • 1:07:13
that's high on the list he was talk
  • 1:07:16
because this is what bitch annek does
  • 1:07:17
    and it's interesting because i don't
  • 1:07:19
know if he if it really works if he
  • 1:07:22
really believes it or if he's just
  • 1:07:23
delusional he cuz he will say to me I'm
  • 1:07:27
running a sai up against john bolton and
  • 1:07:29
he said this i'm talking months ago and
  • 1:07:32
so all this video most of his videos at
  • 1:07:35
the time were all bolton bad Bolton
  • 1:07:37
Bolton Bolton and he says you know they
  • 1:07:40
monitor me and other people monitor me
  • 1:07:43
and and of course it's true because we
  • 1:07:45
monitor him as well and here we are were
  • 1:07:46
    actually rebroadcasting his message and
  • 1:07:49
we're not the only ones so what he's
  • 1:07:51
worried about is that this anonymous
  • 1:07:53
book really is a soft coos I up against
  • 1:07:56
Trump because it's a direct play into
  • 1:07:59
    Trump's ego and I don't know if he's
  • 1:08:02
made comments on it yet but he probably
  • 1:08:03
will and it becomes a kind of a negative
  • 1:08:06
distraction he he doesn't do well with
  • 1:08:10
these types of things and and obsesses
  • 1:08:12
on it a little too much but maybe what
  • 1:08:15
    no no no Trump
  • 1:08:17
oh yes but the good news is he doesn't
  • 1:08:20
read this is an audiobook it'll never
  • 1:08:27
happen he won't know what's in the book
  • 1:08:29
you're right yeah well all of this
  • 1:08:31
doesn't matter because as I did trounce
  • 1:08:34
down my beat this morning it looks like
  • 1:08:37
indeed very soon we will have the
  • 1:08:42
unsealing a thousands of indictments yes
  • 1:08:47
yes yes yes I know it's hard to believe
  • 1:08:49
    but we're finally there
  • 1:08:51
Joe digenova and his wife Victoria tune
  • 1:08:55
sing comeback on Joe Dobbs Lou Dobbs
  • 1:08:58
Pete Dobbs but check the date on this to
  • 1:09:01
make sure it's a recent clip because
  • 1:09:02
sometimes you can get full two years ago
  • 1:09:05
no I'm pretty sure this is a recent very
  • 1:09:07
similar I'm sure okay I'm just recycling
  • 1:09:10
and pretending this something new let's
  • 1:09:12
turn to first the Inspector General
  • 1:09:15
report I'll be in the same position I've
  • 1:09:16
been and for two years are we ever going
  • 1:09:20
to see this this report you are going to
  • 1:09:23
see it Lou but I am NOT predicting so
  • 1:09:25
much for anonymous sources look at that
  • 1:09:27
one says now before Thanksgiving another
  • 1:09:30
says no least they're backing off on the
  • 1:09:32
timeline now so they're cooling off a
  • 1:09:35
little bit on next Wednesday we're gonna
  • 1:09:38
Wednesday no longer but I heard she
  • 1:09:41
slipped in you know before Thanksgiving
  • 1:09:43
we should hold on to it but I can tell
  • 1:09:45
you this and we have darn good sources
  • 1:09:47
for this it's going to be very bad for
  • 1:09:51
the people in the Obama administration
  • 1:09:54
as somebody the my source said to me
  • 1:09:56
it's going to be worse than you can
  • 1:09:59
    imagine
  • 1:10:00
well that's that is a heck of a tease
  • 1:10:02
Victoria that chomping at the bit to get
  • 1:10:10
the thing enjoy your thoughts on that
  • 1:10:12
Horowitz report it doesn't sound like
  • 1:10:15
it's going to be a tepid matter
  • 1:10:18
explosive would you say I would say
  • 1:10:20
explosive and I would say for people at
  • 1:10:22
the highest levels of the FBI and at the
  • 1:10:26
highest levels of the Justice Department
  • 1:10:27
    more important the Justice Department
  • 1:10:31
it's going to be devastating it's going
  • 1:10:33
to ruin careers it's going to make
  • 1:10:35
people have bar problems it's going to
  • 1:10:38
be hell bar problem no no no no about
  • 1:10:41
    Bar Association problems because what's
  • 1:10:44
what's clear and now we know is that the
  • 1:10:47
senior levels of the Obama Justice
  • 1:10:49
    Department were complicit in knowingly
  • 1:10:52
    submitting materially false applications
  • 1:10:55
to the FISA Court for an illegitimate
  • 1:10:58
    counterintelligence purpose not for a
  • 1:11:01
legitimate purpose but to spy on
  • 1:11:03
Americans for political purposes and it
  • 1:11:06
really will end up being the beginning
  • 1:11:08
of the greatest political scandal in
  • 1:11:11
history and it's being held up partially
  • 1:11:13
because of Jon Durham's new grand jury
  • 1:11:16
which by the way exists for one reason
  • 1:11:18
and one reason only because people are
  • 1:11:21
going to be indicted oh but there's more
  • 1:11:35
there's a part two and so that was about
  • 1:11:38
    Horowitz's indictments but you don't
  • 1:11:42
know nothing yet because during the
  • 1:11:45
    durum investigation inspector general
  • 1:11:47
durum oh oh it's gonna be so it's gonna
  • 1:11:49
be all it's gonna be massive it's been
  • 1:11:51
expanded Lou because now going into
  • 1:11:54
whole other areas he's gone back into
  • 1:11:56
the the or origins of the investigation
  • 1:12:00
I mean for those of us who know this
  • 1:12:03
business if you get it if you're in
  • 1:12:05
counterintelligence and you get a word
  • 1:12:07
that a george papadapolis has said he
  • 1:12:10
heard something that the russians have
  • 1:12:12
something you don't you do you go you go
  • 1:12:14
knock on his door within a week she
  • 1:12:16
actually made a very interesting point
  • 1:12:18
here because i don't know of was FBI I
  • 1:12:22
think was FBI before it was CIA but
  • 1:12:25
she's making this point that if you get
  • 1:12:27
some word about you know Russian
  • 1:12:28
    intelligence trying to infiltrate a
  • 1:12:30
campaign you go knock on that guy's door
  • 1:12:33
within a week and you say hey let's talk
  • 1:12:34
about it let's see what's going on it is
  • 1:12:37
exactly the same modus operandi the FBI
  • 1:12:40
uses for the 6-week cycle when the guy
  • 1:12:43
    says
  • 1:12:44
all Jews in the synagogue they don't go
  • 1:12:47
talk to him see what's going on forget
  • 1:12:49
him for a psych eval you know maybe put
  • 1:12:50
a straightjacket on him no they give him
  • 1:12:53
phony bombs and Jack him up for two
  • 1:12:55
months so that he can go and actually
  • 1:12:56
pretend to do it this is a fundamental
  • 1:13:00
    structural procedures procedural issue
  • 1:13:03
    with the United States intelligence
  • 1:13:06
    communities there are there honey
  • 1:13:09
trappers there there it's what is the
  • 1:13:13
word well we brought this up in the last
  • 1:13:14
show and I still think this possibility
  • 1:13:16
exists that they've determined at some
  • 1:13:19
point that they can't do the
  • 1:13:22
    old-fashioned thing which still seems
  • 1:13:23
like the logical thing to do which is
  • 1:13:25
that if you heard that Papadopoulos was
  • 1:13:27
being contacted by the Russians you go
  • 1:13:28
turn him into it to a double agent right
  • 1:13:31
    away even better even better
  • 1:13:34
no you won't even trap him instead
  • 1:13:36
exactly there's a little bit more to
  • 1:13:38
don't you do you go you go knock on his

door within a week and ask him about it
  • 1:13:43
and have him give you the information
  • 1:13:44
where did you get it and how did it do
  • 1:13:47
that they didn't do that at all they
  • 1:13:49
dissipate all the rules of a
  • 1:13:51
    counterintelligence investigation and
  • 1:13:53
    it's expanded because originally Barr
  • 1:13:56
wanted dirham to just look at the
  • 1:13:57
    beginnings of crossfire hurricane how
  • 1:14:00
did this start how did it happen but
  • 1:14:01
then what they discovered was that they
  • 1:14:04
found out from the Devon Nunez
  • 1:14:06
experience at the White House in March
  • 1:14:09
of 2000 a m-- the Devon Nunez experience
  • 1:14:15
in the March of 2017 that there had been
  • 1:14:18
    massive massive unmasking of Americans
  • 1:14:23
for political purposes and that those in
  • 1:14:26
information was given and leaked to the
  • 1:14:29
press and by the way the Michael Flynn
  • 1:14:32
ambassador kiss Lee act called a Russian
  • 1:14:34
ambassador which was leaked to David
  • 1:14:36
Ignatius of the post is in fact the
  • 1:14:39
subject of one of the criminal
  • 1:14:41
investigations because that leak is a
  • 1:14:43
    20-year felony
  • 1:14:45
there you go the Devon you experience
  • 1:14:49
well yeah I have feels better I have
  • 1:14:52

in them streams as you know and it's
  • 1:15:43
    it's it was so interesting
  • 1:15:45
Thursday Darrin Oh does the pre-show he
  • 1:15:48
    does you know fantastic almost
  • 1:15:51
    reminiscent of
  • 1:15:52
    [Music]
  • 1:15:54
one of the you know like the great 70s
  • 1:15:57
jocks you know rapping Ryman just you
  • 1:16:00
know I don't know you did but it's all
  • 1:16:01
bash and rock and roll and then he hits
  • 1:16:05
you know he hands it over the stream to
  • 1:16:07
the Amsterdam and I click go and then
  • 1:16:10
    I'm live and it's cool I mean it's a
  • 1:16:15
real station too anyway no agenda stream
  • 1:16:17
comm and also we would like to thank the
  • 1:16:19
artist for episode 1188 that was our
  • 1:16:22
previous show the artist was data who
  • 1:16:25
has won a couple of album art placements
  • 1:16:29
and there's nothing like having rules
  • 1:16:32
for us to break a rule as the title of
  • 1:16:35
the show was Gretta doom Berg which was
  • 1:16:39
a very obvious title and we did
  • 1:16:42
something that we don't typically do we
  • 1:16:43
combined the title with the album art
  • 1:16:47
which was this fantastic Mad Max
  • 1:16:50
rendering of Gretta and it was just I
  • 1:16:53
mean it as you said and I recall this
  • 1:16:55
that's not a simple Photoshop job there
  • 1:16:59
was work done on this yes and I and we
  • 1:17:02
violated a second rule which was to look
  • 1:17:05
up whether this thing is in the public
  • 1:17:07
domain done by someone else oh shit did
  • 1:17:09
we we didn't we didn't and was it
  • 1:17:14
taken nope you're right normally we
  • 1:17:21
always check that yeah you're right yeah
  • 1:17:24
so what no I couldn't find any other
  • 1:17:26
examples I mean you could pop it in and
  • 1:17:27
you kid comes back with the No Agenda
  • 1:17:29
alright so somewhere along the lines our
  • 1:17:31
    buddy
  • 1:17:32
David did this picture of Greta and
  • 1:17:35
plugged it into that that other picture
  • 1:17:37
which has been floating around yeah and
  • 1:17:39
I know it was original I mean I think
  • 1:17:42
you mentioned that it's been done with
  • 1:17:44
Hillary Hillary's been the original one
  • 1:17:46
original piece with the guy with the Mad
  • 1:17:48
Max character yeah Hillary right and
  • 1:17:51
swapped out the Hillary and put it Greta
  • 1:17:53
in the same basic style not quite as an
  • 1:17:56
extreme that mean yeah I mean you know
  • 1:17:58
so many hours in the day but it's not as
  • 1:18:00
an extreme look as the Hillary one which
  • 1:18:02
is really frightening yeah but he put
  • 1:18:05
that Greta in there it worked
  • 1:18:06
beautifully anyway and I found nothing
  • 1:18:08
that that indicates that this is lifted
  • 1:18:11
in any way so it was earth but we
  • 1:18:13
normally check funny after the folk
  • 1:18:17
crafts go take a look and I thought
  • 1:18:19
comics or blogger would would be
  • 1:18:22
disturbed by our breaking of the rule
  • 1:18:25
but he actually defended our choice
  • 1:18:27
    interestingly
  • 1:18:29
well I didn't know that anybody knows
  • 1:18:32
this specific rule about the titles
  • 1:18:34
we've explained it before and one person
  • 1:18:38
picked up on it said hey wait a minute I
  • 1:18:40
thought you know I thought the title and
  • 1:18:42
the album art and the opening clip are
