this is no good hmm it's not supposed to
0:39
be balmy there that's probably just a
0:41
cloud of steaming poop it could be and
0:45
will you please stop tweeting that we do
0:50
you keep tweeting send people tend the
0:52
homeless to Austin I'm doing them a
0:54
favor
0:56
Austin is opening its arms why are you
1:02
such a grumpy Gus he's opening its arms
1:06
to them to the poor homeless and they
1:08
you know and they welcome I'm sorry
1:10
right I'm just trying to get the word
1:12
out oh you do not want you're homeless
1:14
and by the way that you come here and
1:17
you'll bake on the street you hey
1:22
there's a glimmer of hope in Austin you
1:26
know a slight glimmer of hope you know
1:30
if you live in Texas and you're anywhere
1:32
but Austin someone says hey what are you
1:34
from and you say I'm from Texas they say
1:36
yeah we're in Texas you say Austin the
1:39
same that's not Texas it's exactly what
1:44
they say but I think the liberal Austin
1:51
local government mayor and the City
1:56
Council I think that they're just not as
1:59
when we say liberal they're not like
2:01
California liberals that they understand
2:04
and maybe not yet maybe it's not even
2:06
them maybe it's the people of Austin
2:08
they're revolting against what's going
2:10
on here is you recall several weeks ago
2:13
the council voted unanimously I believe
2:17
to remove all city ordinances of camping
2:21
where you except for of course in front
2:23
of City Hall or the Capitol building but
2:25
you can pretty much camp anywhere else
2:27
not in a sending city park but anywhere
2:31
else you want to on the median on the
2:33
right side of the road you can do
2:34
whatever you want you can Panhandle in
2:36
front of bus bus stop school school
2:39
grounds anywhere you want and that was a
2:42
man freedom actually that was 50 days
2:46
ago as longer than I thought
2:49
but now things have changed two months
2:52
after voting to allow sitting lying and
2:54
camping in public places city leaders
2:57
are tweaking the rules no one wants
2:59
anybody camping anywhere in our city
3:02
today Mayor Steve Adler and council
3:04
members sent out a six page proposal
3:06
aimed to solve problems of people
3:08
experiencing homelessness in the city
3:10
I've lived in Austin my whole life and
3:13
my beautiful city is a mess man thermal
3:18
and is one that's funny you say that I
3:21
heard this the second time I played it
3:23
and does sound like her doesn't it but
3:25
no it's not my whole life and my
3:28
beautiful city is a mess
3:31
ken bouncer Mullen is one of hundreds of
3:34
outspoken Austinites asking council to
3:36
change the sit like camp ordinance
3:38
she says it's caused a public safety
3:40
risk and health hazard where is it that
3:43
that people should should not be camping
3:45
and sitting in line in the report mayor
3:47
Adler answers those questions proposing
3:50
increased restrictions on people who
3:51
camp adjacent to roadways or medians on
3:54
sidewalks near creeks or in front of the
3:56
arch he also suggests a renewed focus on
3:59
creating new housing options but says
4:01
the changes won't be possible without
4:03
community input and support are we
4:06
really ready to do what it takes to
4:09
actually solve this problem this guy
4:11
gets my goat you know all he ever says
4:15
are we all ready to solve the problem do
4:18
we do can we come together
4:20
fuck you Adler go do something
4:24
oh this guy is so annoying can we all
4:28
come to get you're supposed to lead
4:30
dipshit it won't be possible without
4:32
community input and support are we
4:34
really ready to do what it takes to
4:37
actually solve this problem rather than
4:40
just chasing it around the city and
4:42
hiding it in the next couple weeks it E
4:45
Council is expecting more concrete
4:47
proposals on changing this ordinance
4:49
also tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock
4:51
there will be a public town hall right
4:53
here at the Austin Convention Center it
4:56
is open to the public it's your chance
4:58
to ask a city leaders questions directly
5:01
about this homelessness issue try look
5:04
at this six page proposal in that
5:06
clueless outline proposed principle
5:13
enjoy what is this you play in the
5:15
background but what are you hearing I'm
5:17
not hearing anything oh must be on my
5:19
machine do we need to stop tape are you
5:26
okay I'm good I thought it was you're
5:29
just playing a little bad for some
5:31
reason proposed principles and goals for
5:40
pros community agreement direction our
5:42
community needs multiple housing types
5:44
and services for individuals
5:45
experiencing homelessness next bullet
5:48
point we know what works yeah I call
5:51
bullshit no clue what works oh here it
5:55
is new programs expansions and increased
5:58
housing capacity on the horizon possible
6:01
places from among which to increase
6:02
restrictions on camping sitting and
6:04
lying ordinance standards
6:06
interpretations and applications rules
6:09
regarding camping where it occurs as we
6:11
build up more housing and services non
6:14
policing tools to encourage people to go
6:17
to better and safer places this whole
6:20
six page document has nothing about
6:22
mental health nothing about substance
6:26
abuse or addiction until the very very
6:29
very bottom under those non policing
6:33
tools
6:33
[Music]
6:34
help people get assistance for to the
6:38
bullet point one sobering center melv
6:41
mental health assistance shelter /
6:44
bridge home navigation center and
6:46
community court and everything else is
6:49
about appropriating apartment buildings
6:52
or old hotels to turn into affordable
6:56
housing this is this is not going to
6:59
work it's your cells your solution well
7:06
sure well there is one I talked about
7:10
this there's one solution that seems to
7:11
be working that's the community first
7:13
village September 9th I'm going to go
7:15
over there
7:16
gonna see what they're doing and I shall
7:17
report back and maybe I'll do an
7:20
interview with the with the CEO who's
7:24
running it hmm this was recently
7:26
featured in People magazine's got a lot
7:28
of attention as something that seems to
7:31
be working but geez they have nothing
7:35
here just nothing no no no not shipping
7:43
them to Austin besides that that's
7:46
that's a standing standing offer gee
7:49
thanks no we're gonna just redefine
7:52
everybody oh oh yeah I read something
7:56
about this oh yeah
7:57
what you got let me read you read some
7:59
of this I don't have any clips but
8:01
according to San Francisco Chronicle
8:02
from now on a convicted felon or poor
8:06
other offender or released from custody
8:08
will be known as a former incarcerated
8:11
person yeah justice involved person or
8:17
just and they did prefer this a
8:20
returning resident no they're really
8:23
gonna use that as returning returning
8:26
resident of justice that would be even
8:28
better just a returning resident oh my
8:29
goodness oh my goodness you know now
8:34
called a young person with a justice
8:37
system involvement or a young person
8:40
impacted by the justice juvenile system
8:44
a young person a young
8:47
person impacted by the juvenile justice
8:49
system who is experiencing homelessness
8:51
and just happens to be gay and drug
8:54
addicts abusers use that for a while Wow
8:59
will become the oh actually they're
9:01
changing that's that that whole thing to
9:04
a person with a history of substance
9:07
abuse nice and if somebody was quoted
9:11
one of the supervisors was that we don't
9:13
want people to be forever labeled for
9:16
the worst things they've ever done
9:18
so we just give them labels should give
9:20
new let's give them a new label a new
9:23
yellow star good work everybody thanks
9:27
there's nuts yeah he nice yeah it's hard
9:33
to be nice I went to dinner with my
9:38
Jamaican friend ah and and did he smoke
9:43
the ganja he smokes the ganja but he
9:46
don't eat the meat so he's at
9:48
pescetarians right and I'd selected this
9:51
cool restaurant on the east side that's
9:53
a butcher shop he's like don't you
9:56
remember crap yeah alright so he
9:59
selected the corner the corner bar at
10:01
the JW Marriott which is actually kind
10:03
of like nice location but you got to go
10:04
into town so I'm a mean town ID and I
10:07
walked three blocks up in three blocks
10:09
over three blocks down near Congress
10:11
it's gotten worse
10:12
so yes
10:15
since we've left I see congregations now
10:19
it used to be you know one or two
10:21
homeless people I'm sorry people
10:22
experiencing homelessness in a doorway
10:26
or on a part on a bench but now there's
10:29
four or five of them sitting together
10:30
with lawn chairs no tents out yet and
10:33
then you know just like in Chicago or
10:36
San Francisco on Congress like the
10:38
corner of second and Congress or third
10:40
and Congress is people just sleeping on
10:43
the corner I don't know
10:47
I don't saying how people don't can just
10:49
step over it it bothers the crap out of
10:51
me as you can tell to step over them
10:55
yeah I find that very from that very
10:57
challenge I mean it's better than
10:59
jumping on him but you know I you
11:02
understand my dilemma it's not cool not
11:05
cool anyway keep everybody updated we
11:08
were we were right on a lot of things or
11:10
nor ahead of the curve on a lot of
11:12
things that have been taking place over
11:14
the past couple days sure well it's
11:18
always astonishing to me how sometimes
11:20
how far ahead of the curve we are but
11:22
this one is were too far headed the
11:24
curve has become as problematic my last
11:26
story of my life this is absolutely true
11:30
I should be a billionaire but I'm always
11:32
ten years too early with everything no
11:35
well which so I had the interview with
11:41
Poe I talked to poach enok and who did
11:45
he say would be on deck to be exposed in
11:48
the Epstein scandal do you recall know
11:51
Bill Gates part of baffling history of
11:53
Jeffrey Epstein is how he was somehow
11:55
able to surround himself with some of
11:57
the world's most powerful people even
11:59
after he pled guilty to soliciting an
12:01
underage prostitute and became a
12:03
registered sex offender for example
12:05
Prince Andrew was photographed coming
12:07
out of Epstein's Manhattan mansion in
12:08
2010 two years after Epstein served jail
12:11
time and now we're learning Microsoft
12:13
founder Bill Gates not only spoke with
12:16
Epstein on more than one occasion about
12:18
philanthropic spending but also flew on
12:21
Epstein's private plane from New York to
12:23
Palm Beach though Gates reportedly
12:25
refuses to say why and we should note
12:27
the plane was not the so called Lolita
12:30
Express which allegedly was used to fly
12:32
underage girls to Epstein's private
12:34
island but still critics wonder why one
12:37
of the world's richest men would need to
12:39
take philanthropic advice from a
12:41
convicted sex offender especially
12:43
considering what Melinda Gates and the
12:45
couple's foundation does for young women
12:47
around the world separately a former
12:49
science advisor for Bill Gates was named
12:52
as one of three executor zuv Jeffrey
12:55
Epstein's 577 million dollar will 49
12:59
year old Boris Nikola
13:00
says he was shocked to learn that
13:02
Epstein named him and says he has no
13:04
intention of fulfilling the duties
13:06
meantime Attorney General Bill Barr gave
13:08
an impromptu news conference today where
13:10
he maintains that there were numerous
13:13
irregularities in the death of Jeffrey
13:15
Epstein but Barr says so far he has been
13:18
given no reason to question the findings
13:20
of the medical examiner who ruled
13:22
Epstein's death a suicide
13:24
though Barr says the investigation is
13:26
moving forward
13:28
there you go Billy Boy and this is
13:31
that's guilt by association again yes
13:35
but um if he went to the island I'd be
13:37
more suspicious all I'm saying is this
13:39
is what pachán ik predicted he said Bill
13:42
Gates has a problem he says he took a
13:44
known a known sex offender of girls with
13:49
him to the girls charity he and Belinda
13:52
Melinda maintained so yeah yeah it was
13:57
just after he was convicted of a sex
13:59
crime yes 2013 this happened all in 2013
14:03
2014 2015
14:05
that's the part that's problematic okay
14:07
well that is a problem
14:08
yes now how about I should be
14:10
untouchable after that you shouldn't be
14:12
dealing with him no of course not and it
14:14
wasn't and that wasn't on the Lolita
14:16
express to the island but it was to Palm
14:19
Beach Palm Beach where gates also has a
14:22
house and it was and it was on it was on
14:25
the the Gulfstream not the ES 727 anyway
14:28
it just found that interesting now more
14:31
interesting to me and perhaps to you
14:33
because this is a guy I've met a couple
14:34
times I'm sure you have Joey Ito do you
14:39
know have you ever met him I know Joey
14:41
yeah well well Joey okay well good he
14:45
posted a public apology he's now the
14:49
director of the MIT Media Lab yeah he's
14:51
always yeah yeah I mean I met him with
14:56
who was the the French guy who ran a Gus
15:00
a the French guy ran Apple yeah John
15:03
Louie yeah yeah I was raising money for
15:06
pod show I remember we had a meeting
15:08
with him and Ito sat in on it I had me a
15:11
John Luke essay during the same era for
15:14
a friend of mine mm-hmm and some
15:16
somebody else who I know very well so
15:18
why'd you have a meeting with him for so
15:19
he gave us a bunch of tips and stuff he
15:22
says you know he has zero money in that
15:29
when I saw Ito I'm like I'm in the wrong
15:31
room this is not we're gonna get money
15:36
so he had posted a public apology for
15:40
taking money from Epstein for research
15:44
projects at MIT and for his personal
15:47
funds two scientists have now resigned
15:50
or are publicly announced they are
15:53
leaving the Media Lab they may not leave
15:56
MIT but want to leave the Media Lab
15:58
because they find it untenable so I
16:01
think that they probably don't forget
16:03
one of the one of the guys in the papers
16:07
in the 2000 that word 2000 word 2000
16:09
page document 2000 plus pages there's
16:12
Marvin Minsky big shot at the Media Lab
16:15
major major guy I remember running into
16:18
him if I te personally he threw me out
16:20
of a meeting we need to hear this that
16:25
tells us first who Marvin Minsky is and
16:27
then Marvin I staked out of meeting one
16:31
of the famous artificial intelligence
16:35
from the 80s the first go-round and
16:39
maybe even the one before every 30 years
16:41
or so this artificial I didn't he kind
16:45
of write the book on artificial
16:46
intelligence wrote a book at least he
16:53
published it well you got me on that so
16:56
I got invited as a lark by will Hearst
17:03
to go into the Media Lab with the
17:06
executives of the Hearst Corporation who
17:08
are getting ate at or that you worry to
17:11
have to sign a nondisclosure uh-huh and
17:14
I was like first and I were just
17:17
wondering we're in the kind of just
17:18
wandering we're just in the group
17:20
there's about 1 2 3 but maybe eight nine
17:23
people including the CEO and Randy
17:27
Hearst and all these other people we're
17:28
going through this thing and we're
17:29
getting to see the dog and pony show
17:31
that they put on which is where I found
17:33
out a number of interesting things I
17:34
used later and certain columns because I
17:37
could I didn't have to worry about
17:38
non-disclosed being non disclosed on any
17:41
of it and so we're going from meeting to
17:43
meeting where these guys are just full
17:44
of crap and they're showing us
17:46
everything in the place got a great tour
17:49
and either a few wry bald comments to
17:52
make and so we go into this final
17:54
meeting and there's Minsky in there with
17:57
the guys they had at the time whose name
17:59
is eluding me involved with Wired
18:02
magazine and Minsky sees me he knows who
18:05
I am
18:05
and he says what's this guy doing here
18:08
what's Dvorak doing here pretty much
18:11
this guy and everybody's looking left
18:15
and right never this stupid smile on my
18:17
face and they asked me to leave yeah yes
18:25
so will actually will left with me the
18:26
two of us left oh that's cool it was
18:32
from what I could tell yeah so we left
18:34
we it was at the end anyway so who cares
18:36
and we went out and did something Boston
18:39
somewhere and then as you left like
18:40
that's the mascot well screw those guys
18:49
guilty by association I say well there's
18:52
a lot of that going around apparently
18:54
with MIT Media Lab what do you mean
19:00
there's a lot of that going around at
19:02
the MIT Media Lab guilty by association
19:04
your report you got Joey
19:07
okay this immediate levy got Minsky's
19:10
the Media Lab yeah a lot of media lab
19:12
guys seems to me yeah well you know one
19:16
of the theories this may be an amazing
19:18
Polly theory one of these one of the
19:19
theories is that Epstein exedoc people
19:24
yeah man
19:25
well Epstein was into transhumanism and
19:27
all this weird stuff and implanting
19:29
things and hybrid I already was really
19:33
big into implanting yeah we got it the
19:35
first time hey-oh
19:41
and that he you know because he also
19:43
said he collected humans that he might
19:45
have been supplying supplying humanoids
19:49
for testing too many of these more
19:52
esoteric research projects at MIT and
19:55
Harvard that he was apparently funding
19:57
there's now also another interesting
20:00
connection you probably
20:03
about or saw the video of Prince Andrew
20:06
at Epstein's house in Manhattan with a
20:08
young woman leaving did you know I did
20:14
what was the picture describe it again
20:16
so it's the Epstein house in Manhattan
20:19
it's the mansion and the door opens up
20:22
and a young woman walks out and then in
20:24
the door opening waving her off is
20:27
Prince Andrew of of the Germans over
20:30
there in England and so that turns out
20:32
to be the daughter of former Australian
20:37
Prime Minister Paul Keating just to make
20:42
it a little worse I can't remember it
20:44
wasn't Paul Keating a problematic prime
20:46
minister for Australia you don't know I
20:48
can't this is not even in the memory
20:51
banks it's possible well she is now a
20:55
sustainability campaigner who works for
20:58
a show business talent agency that
21:00
represents among others Sir Paul
21:02
McCartney and u2
21:04
and she also previously partied with
21:09
Jasleen Maxwell and presented a fawning
21:12
interview with the alleged procure
21:14
calling her a philanthropist so that
21:18
just makes it that much more juicy when
21:20
we can add those tidbits you know yeah
21:22
I'm not saying anyone's guilty however a
21:25
dutch former model taisiya house mum who
21:30
was discovered by jean-luc Brunel this
21:37
was one of the you know this was the big
21:39
fashion the modern else he's thrown a
21:43
drone darts at him yes so she says that
21:46
she was drugged and and abused sexually
21:50
abused when she was in she doesn't know
21:55
where the apartment was but she does say
21:58
she thinks she also remembers Epstein
21:59
being there so you know people are just
22:02
coming out and a lot of this is just
22:03
people coming out and just saying
22:04
whatever they remember my favorite
22:07
though is Carrie Kennedy and
22:13
she is the Robert Kennedy daughter who
22:17
do you remember she think you do
22:19
remember this story she was arrested for
22:22
driving under the influence and her
22:23
defense successful defense I might add
22:25
was that she had accidentally take an
22:30
ambien instead of her progesterone or
22:33
something like that and so she was all
22:35
walked out and she you know she crashed
22:36
into it a trailer tractor so she has
22:40
always been good friends with jizz Lane
22:42
as she offered her lawyer left court
22:50
when the trouble started between Epstein
22:54
and the law and left Court of course was
22:57
is someone who worked on his defense but
23:02
it's even more juicy to know that Kerry
23:05
Kennedy at the time was married to
23:07
Andrew Cuomo no which puts the Cuomo
23:12
quit create back in the in focus which
23:14
is really always fun if we can just
23:16
accuse him of anything so you have any
23:20
clips from the Wendy Williams Show uh
23:22
gee I forgot to watch and I forgot to
23:25
record why did you have any no I'm just
23:28
thinking of where you're going here
23:30
that's all I got
23:33
I will say something else when it comes
23:37
to things that we've that we've been out
23:39
ahead of and this comes back to pipe two
23:42
pipelines I don't remember exactly which
23:44
episode was when we discovered how
23:46
important pipelines are to the to the
23:49
geopolitical state of the world and of
23:52
course this was when a lot of pipelines
23:54
were being built we were discovering the
23:56
old ones things were changing Ukraine
23:58
was changing Russia was changing the
24:01
stance towards Russia it quieted down a
24:04
little bit then we had the big Leviathan
24:06
field which we'd known about for not
24:08
geez at least eight years and that
24:09
started pumping so we've tracked that
24:13
we've been tracking the North stream too
24:16
which is a secondary route from Russia
24:19
that is intended to pump just a whole
24:24
lot of natural gas into your
24:26
which once again we'll go through
24:28
Ukraine but it goes along the coast of
24:31
several countries and it kind of came
24:34
into view what has been going on the
24:37
past week when I read this report from
24:40
Reuters that the Nord Stream to Russian
24:47
LED gas pipeline project across the
24:49
Baltic Sea to Europe could be delayed by
24:52
up to eight months and cost an extra 660
24:56
million euros due to hurdles in securing
24:58
the necessary permits from one
25:01
particular country and this is the last
25:04
country that has to sign off on these
25:07
permits and they've been wishy-washy
25:08
about it for a while and that may make
25:12
sense that we had someone come out of
25:15
the woodwork to perhaps delay their
25:18
decision a little bit longer because
25:20
this is Denmark so now you can
25:26
understand why Trump was going to
25:27
Denmark now you can kind of understand
25:30
why he wanted to make a big deal about
25:33
Greenland owned by Denmark just because
25:37
they are in direct competition to the
25:40
natural gas we are now exporting this
25:44
pipeline in particular is in competition
25:46
to the gambit we have running which is
25:48
more expensive of course for Europe but
25:50
we are going to be the net exporter of
25:53
natural gas and maybe you want to cause
25:58
a ruckus around Denmark and then if they
26:00
decide that they are going to approve
26:02
the Nord Stream 2 across in their
26:05
territorial waters maybe you could think
26:07
column out is Russian Stooges or
26:09
something or you know enemy of NATO I
26:12
think that may have been the play all
26:14
along it's a good theory I think he
26:19
actually wants Greenland it is that we
26:24
did get a boots on the ground report
26:25
from one of our producers which I don't
26:28
mind sharing from Wouter he says for the
26:33
Danish government he feels it is indeed
26:36
absurd and he agrees with the new
26:40
Prime Minister's assertion of trumps
26:43
offer and he has the following points
26:45
one for the Danish government cannot
26:47
sell any part of Greenland without the
26:48
approval of the green Landers think we
26:50
knew that this is determined by UN rules
26:52
passed after World War two so why asked
26:55
Denmark he should have made an offer to
26:56
Greenland directly and let them
26:58
negotiate with the Danish government
27:00
well I can again I think my theory works
27:02
here because it's not about Greenland
27:03
per se and maybe about stopping the
27:06
Russians you know with the final link in
27:08
the chain to the Danes are very
27:10
sensitive about every square metre of
27:12
what is left of the realm of Denmark
27:15
this is some good history here
27:16
Denmark lost the southern part to Sweden
27:19
in 1660 a piece to norway in 1814 and
27:22
the northern part of germany which also
27:24
used to be theirs they lost that in 1864
27:27
which they didn't even manage to get
27:29
back after World War one on top of that
27:31
they sold of course st. John st. John
27:34
and st. Croix in the Caribbean in 1970
27:36
to us for 25 million and thirdly Denmark
27:40
may be small and relatively
27:41
insignificant in the greater scheme of
27:43
things but they're not stupid there's a
27:45
great potential in Greenland and they
27:46
will never just sell because of
27:47
short-term perspective the political
27:49
leader of Greenland Kim Nielsen probably
27:51
had the best response saying he could be
27:53
interested in buying the USA because
27:56
quote it was the Vikings Leif the happy
27:59
who discovered America and his father
28:01
Eric the red who discovered Greenland
28:03
and stayed there therefore it is only
28:04
logical that we get the USA back again
28:07
he has not yet decide on the price but
28:10
expects it to be quite low taking the
28:12
deficit of the USA into account and if
28:15
Trump we part of the deal if he is then
28:18
the offer will be lower all right well I
28:22
love having producers everywhere in the
28:25
world I'm sure that's exactly everybody
28:26
feels the point is that they have
28:29
already sold us something in the past
28:32
yes st. Croix and st. John and say Jan
28:37
and so they could you know so it's not
28:40
outside the realm of possibility and
28:42
it's been done
28:43
I mean Truman asked to buy Greenland
28:45
after World War two and was rebuffed
28:48
yeah and somebody in the 1800's I
28:50
believe made the
28:51
yeah so it's not completely nuts it's
28:54
not absurd which you know but here's
28:58
what bothered me so she said this is
29:00
absurd now it's not absurd but his
29:02
response is she's a nasty woman which I
29:06
can only I've been looking never said
29:08
that he never said she's a nasty woman
29:12
Oh What did he say he says it's nasty
29:15
did you use the word nasty referring to
29:17
her her comment but he never said she's
29:20
I don't believe unless somebody get show
29:21
me a quote I well that explains it
29:24
because I thought he said nasty woman
29:26
and I went looking for some connection
29:28
between this new Prime Minister and
29:29
Hillary maybe he was making that
29:30
connection
29:31
maybe I just misheard it but his
29:34
response was well you know if you're
29:37
just gonna respond like that then screw
29:40
you you're not nice I mean what is that
29:41
about it's only I'm telling I think the
29:45
Russian pipeline thing is what it is is
29:47
number one or that says that's what he's
29:49
gonna use now that's why I didn't go to
29:51
Greenland that's why I didn't ask them
29:53
this is all about Denmark let's play a
29:57
couple green link clips we got one from
30:00
democracy now Greenland on Sunday Trump
30:04
confirmed to reporters is interest in
30:05
purchasing the autonomous Danish
30:07
territory and did not rule out trading a
30:09
u.s. territory for the island Trump said
30:12
essentially it's a large real estate
30:14
deal Danish politicians across the
30:18
political spectrum expressed disbelief
30:20
over Trump's sudden cancellation of the
30:23
state visit the Danish Prime Minister
30:26
met the Frederickson called his idea to
30:28
purchase Greenland absurd she also told
30:31
reporters thankfully the time where you
30:34
buy and sell other countries and
30:36
populations is over
30:39
actually I had an idea why don't we sell
30:44
California to Greenland
30:49
yeah the commutes too far no then you
30:51
can put all your homeless on a bus
30:53
oh no Boston there with open arms
30:59
yeah the people up did their fries the
31:02
deserts number two there's a bit of new
31:04
information in the clip two on Monday
31:06
Trump tweeted a photo of shiny gold
31:09
Trump skyscraper photoshopped onto an
31:12
image of a Greenland town and wrote I
31:14
promise not to do this to Greenland
31:17
Trump is said to be interested in
31:19
Greenland's abundant natural resources
31:21
and geopolitical importance but the
31:22
island is also at the center of the
31:24
climate crisis earlier this month
31:26
Greenland's ice sheet experienced its
31:29
largest single-day melt in history in
31:32
July the hottest month ever recorded
31:35
Greenland's ice sheet lost 197 billion
31:39
tons of ice the equivalent of around 80
31:42
million Olympic swimming pools experts
31:44
say in addition to rising sea levels
31:47
around the world the receding ice could
31:49
expose toxic nuclear waste left at u.s.
31:52
military sites during the Cold War John
31:54
John John John look out your window
31:56
quick the mudflats they're still there
31:59
another thing has changed at the end
32:04
what we dumped a nuclear way yes well
32:08
that's not exactly true but in 91 she
32:11
said yeah that's well I I actually got
32:14
this on no agenda social calm them guys
32:18
like that's exactly what he sounded like
32:22
yeah and we had a secondary base there
32:27
and we did have some so-called secret
32:31
nuclear testing so I don't know anything
32:33
about the secret nuclear testing but
32:35
apparently there was there is waste and
32:39
other toxic shit from just having a base
32:41
there and then Alameda and they just let
32:44
it all snow under cuz it was hard to
32:47
keep it clear anyway and then they
32:50
abandoned it so it's just hidden under
32:52
this layer of I don't know ice that's
32:56
now melting and it's going to expose
32:57
that and the woolly mammoth and and and
33:00
bacteria the smallpox the black
33:03
death that we haven't seen since 1918
33:05
all that's gonna come when that when the
33:06
ice melts
33:08
surely you know about this science man
33:12
not to mention the amount of methane
33:15
that has been accumulated by the ice
33:17
somehow yeah this from the woolly
33:19
mammoth farts yeah stinks in that ice
33:23
for some reason well on the topic of
33:28
this of the of the nuclear waste so
33:34
there was a explosion of nuke went off
33:36
in Russia yeah it hasn't been reported
33:39
as much as it could be a little bit I
33:41
mean there's all kind of the same like
33:43
from what I remember the Russian said oh
33:46
don't worry and then they said maybe we
33:48
should leave then come on back and it's
33:50
okay it was very unclear well I have the
33:55
clip from NBC that kind of explains it
33:57
not completely but it's not really a
33:58
nuke
33:59
Derek testing and I thought it was
34:01
interesting because we've done this in
34:02
the past I think in the 50s or 60s there
34:05
was some oh wait an antigravity weapon
34:08
well maybe but that wasn't what happened
34:11
Oh nuclear engines Oh new nuclear jet
34:19
engines nice and they they're they'd
34:23
work because we've tested them but
34:25
they're promised are very dangerous you
34:31
have to have a really long garden hose
34:33
for the water turbine I hear but they
34:35
have they go you know like seams so if
34:38
you get one going you could fly it
34:40
around the globe two or three times they
34:42
just keep going and going and flying and
34:43
flying so you can have these things just
34:45
flying or constantly here of course is
34:48
you shoot one down it becomes a
34:50
subscribe and keep flying on the ground
34:53
blows up yeah so this kind of would
34:57
happen this thing blew up and I don't
34:58
know what's gonna happen with this
35:00
program but they kind of explain it here
35:02
and on another global front tonight
35:04
Russia is facing new questions over the
35:06
recent explosion at a missile testing
35:08
site after telling a nuclear monitoring
35:11
group to stay out of it we get more from
35:13
NBC's bill Neely
35:15
a growing mystery tonight about exactly
35:18
what happened
35:19
days after a nuclear explosion that
35:21
killed five Russian nuclear scientists
35:24
at least four radiation monitoring
35:27
stations nearby went silent and stopped
35:29
transmitting data Russia told an
35:32
international nuclear watchdog today
35:33
mind your own business
35:35
Russia admitted radiation levels did
35:38
spike briefly after the accident which
35:40
was tied to the testing of a nuclear
35:42
missile engine yesterday there is no
35:46
threat no risk of increased radiation
35:48
but the Kremlin is also furious an
35:51
international nuclear watchdog tweeted
35:54
this map of a potential radiation plume
35:57
spreading across Russia the Kremlin
35:59
calls that absurd warning the watchdog
36:02
to back off claiming it can withhold any
36:05
data nuclear experts say Russia's real
36:08
aim is to hide secrets about this a
36:11
nuclear-powered cruise missile the
36:13
president putin boasts could evade
36:16
American defenses Russia concealing from
36:19
the US exact data on its nuclear fuel
36:22
two of the Russian radiation monitoring
36:24
stations are now working again but
36:26
Russia has proved once again that when
36:29
it comes to its national security it
36:31
will hide what the world might want to
36:34
know I don't know man we got Russia with
36:37
the nuclear engines we got France with
36:40
the hoverboard we don't have any cool
36:43
shit anymore no drop the ball
36:46
yeah they got troops on hoverboards they
36:53
got nuclear engines we got Tesla well
36:57
thanks Obama I think I remember spending
37:03
seven hundred and sixty billion dollars
37:05
last year what are we doing with it
37:07
just boondoggles yeah annoying meetings
37:11
but the president finally caught up on
37:13
his no agenda episodes
37:16
it's about time well you know it's a lot
37:19
of people always talking to him so he
37:21
can't always get some time to himself
37:22
and this was three days ago a tweet wow
37:27
report just out Google manipulated from
37:31
2.6 million to 16 million votes for
37:33
Hillary Clinton in 2016 election this
37:36
was put out by a Clinton supporter not a
37:38
trump supporter Google should be sued my
37:40
victory was even bigger than thought so
37:44
thanks we we did a quite a detailed dive
37:48
on this dive on this research and the
37:52
guy got into a beef after this the
37:54
Elliot guy or whatever his last name is
37:57
Epstein Robert Robert Epstein Robert
38:01
Epstein he with Hillary because Hillary
38:03
says as part of a debunked stuff let me
38:06
read it
38:07
the debunk study you're referring to was
38:09
based on 21 undecided voters for context
38:14
that's about half the number of people
38:15
associated with your campaign who have
38:17
been indicted so I knew that this was
38:21
the messaging that went out immediately
38:23
and this I just flipped to CNN actually
38:28
was on MSNBC they didn't have the story
38:31
yet flipped to CNN and yes sir and
38:34
there's another conspiracy theory
38:36
Jeffery that he's on to he took to
38:38
Twitter today to accuse Google of
38:40
manipulating votes he said Google
38:42
manipulated from 2.6 million to 16
38:45
million votes for Hillary Clinton in
38:47
2016 election this was put out by a
38:49
Clinton supporter not a trump supporter
38:50
Google should be sued my victory was
38:52
even bigger than thought in a day of
38:55
wackadoodle claims this is the most
38:58
wackadoodle of all and John we went
39:01
through this research and you know this
39:04
21 unjust undecided voters yes and I'll
39:08
talk about that in a second but there
39:09
was thousands of pages and people
39:13
underneath all that research which
39:14
flowed up until this final test so and I
39:17
thought the research was pretty solid
39:19
and has been published and the guy's
39:24
been put in as a it's a it's this is
39:27
Phin ative work important because
39:30
there's not even any claim that google
39:33
manipulated votes
39:35
there's no that they didn't go in there
39:36
and change votes no one claims that
39:38
except Donald Trump the the idea is what
39:41
he's doing there tells he talking about
39:44
he's trying to make it sit now first of
39:47
all Trump was wrong
39:49
he says Google manipulated from 2.6 to
39:52
16 million votes for Hillary that is a
39:56
well it's a very poor way of stating
40:00
what happened what happens is that bias
40:03
in their system or bias within the
40:05
people we don't know
40:06
put more Hillary favorite links at the
40:09
top two positions so and that swayed the
40:14
2.6 to 16 million according to Robert
40:18
Epstein's research into voting for
40:20
Hillary they were indeed undecided but
40:22
it was very important and the research
40:24
is very conclusive and has been
40:26
replicated but this jamoke to first the
40:30
first woman says aw this bad let it be
40:32
debunked that and then Toobin comes in
40:35
he's saying well they didn't go in and
40:38
manipulate votes what he's implying here
40:40
is they didn't go into the voting
40:41
machines and manipulate them that's
40:44
exists literally what he's implying
40:46
which is such a douche move those
40:49
there's no that they didn't go in there
40:51
and change votes no one claims that
40:53
except Donald Trump the the idea is that
40:56
searches were ranked in certain ways
40:58
that help Democrats rather than rather
41:01
than Republicans this too has been long
41:03
discredited but it's all that part of
41:06
this incredible nervousness about this
41:10
political standing no one they just say
41:13
it's long discredited by who know by
41:16
Slate Magazine who discredited that's if
41:19
I was sitting there at a Stuben who's
41:21
just a stooge I say Toobin sources man
41:26
one report you can show me studies and
41:28
sources okay shut up I was wrong about
41:31
2016 I don't know if he's gonna win or
41:34
lose in 2020 but what today's you know
41:38
space
41:38
of craziness tells us is that he's
41:41
really worried about losing that's the
41:43
real message not any of the subs now
41:45
listen to the the final woman on the
41:47
panel you're nodding here Sabrina well
41:49
look i think that is no coincidence that
41:51
he picked out this 2.6 million number
41:56
from the range that was provided in this
41:58
unsubstantiated conspiracy theory
42:00
because unsubstantiated this is not news
42:10
this is election TV the public million
42:23
number from the range that was provided
42:26
in this unsubstantiated conspiracy
42:28
theory because that's also very close to
42:30
the margin by which Hillary Clinton won
42:31
the National popular vote and we've seen
42:33
the president on multiple occasions
42:35
throw out again conspiracy theories that
42:39
votes worse to nearly three million
42:40
votes were stolen from him in the 2016
42:43
election because then that helps him
42:44
push back against the notion that
42:46
Hillary Clinton in fact won the popular
42:48
vote which is a big a sort of sticking
42:50
point for the president Robert Epstein
42:54
actually posted a very long thread
42:56
regarding this in his battle either even
42:59
included a picture of him and Hillary
43:01
cuz and he's very disappointed with with
43:05
Hillary Clinton and he even show he even
43:10
pulls out WikiLeaks emails to show how
43:15
Google's Eric Schmidt offered to run
43:17
Hillary's tech campaign and in effect me
43:20
of course he funded the groundwork which
43:22
was this little tech company whose only
43:24
purpose was to put Clinton in the White
43:26
House and after all that last night I
43:30
saw late he posted a picture of a beach
43:35
and written in the sand was I love life
43:37
and he posted I'm I'm not going to kill
43:40
myself
43:41
I don't want to die I am very happy with
43:43
everything
43:44
I guess he the Clinton body count got to
43:47
him well if you looked at his
43:51
red and the response to it 90% of the
43:54
response is related to be careful you
43:58
gotta get killed I mean that MIMO is
44:03
great what is fantastic it's so
44:09
entrenched in the public consciousness
44:11
is I it's a I'm actually stunned by it
44:14
oh and there's always just something
44:16
that without you ten years ago was just
44:17
some sort of a running gag yeah yeah a
44:20
few people prefer to talk about it we
44:24
talked about it earlier
44:25
yeah but now it's like jeez I forgot to
44:32
mention on the other Epstein I'm pretty
44:35
sure that looking at Bill bars
44:37
connections through his dad to Epstein
44:40
which is very clear I think bar is is
44:44
cleaning up he's not going to unseal the
44:49
thousands of CF indictments but he's
44:52
gotta have a couple people who go down
44:54
and I just feel like all eyes on bill
44:58
cuz then you know the Clintons go down
45:00
do you just all you have to do is step
45:03
back and watch everyone else who matters
45:06
tumble you don't think it's gonna happen
45:09
no no immune is that were immune or he's
45:15
got he's protected a it's not gonna
45:17
happen they're not gonna do that to any
45:18
president well let's check in with the
45:21
Lew and Joe show let's see what dojo de
45:23
Genoa says if we've gotten any closer
45:25
any information about the sealed
45:28
indictments thousands of them after
45:30
three years of investigation we still
45:32
know so little and and guess why if it
45:34
hadn't been for the corruption at the
45:36
top of the FBI and the Department of
45:38
Justice to swing the election toward
45:40
Hillary Clinton we would have all of
45:42
these answers but when you have the
45:44
world's premier law enforcement agency
45:46
the FBI becomes so politically bankrupt
45:48
and corrupt that it cannot run an
45:51
investigation the way it should have
45:53
that's why it's important that they
45:56
clean house and that's why it's so sad
45:58
that Christopher Rea has never addressed
46:00
any of these problems and as
46:03
I said when he was Attorney General for
46:05
a couple months he says I have more
46:08
questions now than before I became
46:10
Attorney General boy that tells you
46:12
something no it tells me nothing does
46:17
just something man
46:18
no it's so disappointing it was three
46:22
weeks ago it was gonna be any day now
46:24
Wednesday know what know three weeks ago
46:26
is gonna be Wednesday uh I can't even I
46:31
can't even get Tina on board anymore I'm
46:34
like oh she's like I don't believe it
46:37
for a second I've heard this all my
46:39
married life with you which was three
46:43
months a few days ago yeah she's finally
46:45
wised up I'm sure this I'm sure
46:51
everybody heard it but since we've had
46:54
this exact same issue back in the day
46:56
I'll say we haven't had this happen in
46:58
many years the bill de blasio skype fail
47:01
was pretty fun oh I don't know this oh
47:06
my goodness yeah it was it was the Iowa
47:10
I think the union workers and de Blasio
47:13
admissible crap excuse there was and so
47:19
he came in on skype and we knew it was
47:21
Skype because you do you remember what
47:22
used to happen sometimes only on your
47:24
end I might I might add with Skype what
47:28
was happening on my end you'd get the
47:30
helium Voice oh yeah yeah that would
47:33
happen here's Bill DeBlasio calling in
47:36
hey thank you everybody with you and I
47:39
apologize I couldn't be there in person
47:41
I had a canceled flight and could not
47:43
get you by my time slot but I want to
47:46
just stay before get into anything about
47:48
why I'm running for president what we
47:50
have to do in this country I want to
47:52
thank you and the audience is laughing
47:54
and he does he has no clue and it was I
47:56
mean his whole statement is just
47:58
hilarious and last night Tina said it
48:01
who does he sound like for the fight you
48:04
know way doing everyday organized labor
48:06
in Iowa what does he sound like we
48:09
sounds like one of the female candidates
48:11
no man fighting a really really
48:14
no but you've been doing it in a way
48:17
sure there's someone who sounds like Ben
48:19
Shapiro you know you're a racist sexist
48:21
bigoted homophobic hates the poor right
48:22
that's what they know about you and
48:23
that's not they think that about you
48:25
they know that about you so much
48:26
strength Ben Shapiro fancies should pick
48:30
that out it's a bit like Ben Shapiro
48:34
yeah more than a bit yeah honey maybe
48:39
Ben Shapiro is on helium that would make
48:41
sense that would explain something see
48:45
you have a couple other 20/20 oh yes
48:48
well Elizabeth Warren finally apologized
48:52
to ya
48:55
American Indians I'm kind of insincere
49:00
quasi heartfelt I know that I have made
49:03
mistakes
49:04
I am sorry for harm I have caused I have
49:09
listened and I have learned a lot and I
49:13
am grateful for the many conversations
49:16
that we've had together it is a great
49:20
honor to be able to partner with Indian
49:24
country and that's what I've tried to do
49:27
as a senator and that's what I promise I
49:30
will do as president of the United
49:32
States of America that was pretty good
49:36
people thought it was me do it again I
49:38
want to hear I want to hear it without
49:39
Elizabeth what you're crying that was
49:42
pretty good didn't do anything oh okay
49:46
but here here's a here's a groovy one
49:49
from another guy I got my eye on Andrew
49:52
yang this he's all spiffy on that stage
49:55
man but he's a little pompous Silicon
49:57
Valley ass in the background however he
50:00
went on a podcast it's always very
50:02
dangerous when you go into podcast I'm
50:04
not talking Joe Rogan I'm talking on the
50:06
podcast were you're chilled and you
50:09
relaxed and this is the h3 podcast and
50:12
you feel like you can kind of say
50:14
whatever you want no surprise surprise
50:16
the debates are rigged and it's so
50:20
filtered and removed and even the
50:22
debates like you pointed out just feel
50:24
like you're watching a reality and
50:26
actual and not even a good one really
50:32
are certain nightmare I mean they ask
50:34
you complex questions and expect you to
50:36
answer in what like 30 seconds
50:38
and then they cut you off and they focus
50:41
so much on the drama it's like they want
50:43
it they want you to get into an argument
50:45
with Joe Budden and yeah and you know
50:48
one thing I'll share with you all is
50:49
that some of the campaigns are in touch
50:51
with the TV network ahead of time to
50:53
talk about what sort of attack they
50:54
wanna the stage attack on by around yes
51:00
this question would be would play really
51:02
well yes the campaign says hey we're
51:06
gonna make this attack against Biden and
51:08
in the network I was okay
51:09
like we get it and then they help create
51:12
that opportunity what a nightmare I mean
51:15
what a farce yeah it's it's quite a
51:17
disaster and I want to share with you
51:20
the perspectives like I'm I think like a
51:22
lay person who happens to find himself
51:23
on the presidential debate stage being
51:26
like what the hell conference call so
51:33
that's quite the accusation Wow that's a
51:36
clip that's a clip that's a clip of the
51:38
day thank you somebody sent it to you um
51:48
no no I found this myself Jim although
51:54
let me just say as a part of our value
51:58
for value system it's not just the money
52:00
yes that enables you and I to do the
52:02
work but this I was thinking just again
52:06
this morning is like without our
52:07
producers there's no way no way we would
52:12
get the amount the quantity and the
52:14
quality of clips and information yeah
52:18
inside I got a note to read then okay
52:21
from one of our guys is a little long
52:23
but I want to read it Hollywood guy in
52:27
the morning keep me anonymous I had to
52:29
share an event that happened this spring
52:31
and an immediate and it will be an
52:33
annual event and he's got some link it's
52:35
called I saw this I saw this
52:38
organizations such as
52:40
changed to find Americans and harness
52:42
which has been offering story consulting
52:45
and script integration services to
52:46
Hollywood for years we only know that
52:48
the one we've talked about of course is
52:50
the familiar Hollywood Health & Society
52:53
USC they're participating in this event
52:56
and this event was called unreasonable
52:58
conversation people can look it up on
53:01
Google it will be available during
53:04
interactive sessions for writers who
53:05
want workshops specific storylines or
53:08
characters they're working on proper
53:10
says it's all participants will be all
53:12
participants were provided with a
53:14
resource guide and contact information
53:16
for these groups so they can develop
53:17
deeper relationships with them on an
53:20
ongoing basis as an unquote this is an
53:22
extravaganza of mind programming insider
53:25
trading training sorry we're the top
53:28
producers directors and actors messaging
53:30
and coercing the new recruits to learn
53:33
the new narratives for all genres of
53:35
entertainment think Lear foundation I
53:38
don't think this would pop up on your
53:40
radar if nobody's sent it to you you
53:41
might be able to deconstruct it in a
53:43
novel way Hollywood is no fun anymore
53:47
it's just virtues signaling in the CNN
53:50
agenda at every job I'm struggling hard
53:53
as a middle-aged white guy in the
53:55
entertainment industry and trying to
53:57
escape this whole mess before they put
53:59
me out to pasture this gathering makes
54:02
my skin crawl and it's a clear virtual
54:04
signaling attack on everyone but the
54:06
triple disgruntled status people I would
54:10
contribute again today but I'm in a bad
54:12
place financially and says great show
54:15
keep up the good work so there's a bunch
54:17
of these things going on yeah I took a
54:19
look at where's the right I took I took
54:22
a look yes well I took a look at
54:24
unreasonable conversation org
54:26
he's usually 501 C 3 s but there's a lot
54:29
of money pumping through him there's a
54:31
couple of them another one he he
54:33
mentioned I also looked up and that was
54:37
me see who was that what was their name
54:42
image of darkness define America and
54:45
define America in America
54:47
anyway so they in March they have the
54:49
big meeting this is where they get
54:50
together with show runners with
54:52
producers and what's great about it is
54:55
you know Hollywood being the virtue
54:58
signaling community that community that
55:00
it is they do not want to make any
55:02
mistake so for instance there was an
55:04
article linked to one of these sites
55:06
study immigrant TV characters portrayed
55:09
as criminals and less educated so just
55:13
like you don't want to get caught up in
55:15
some kind of bullcrap controversy as an
55:17
advertiser you certainly don't want to
55:19
make a misstep if it comes to daca kids
55:22
or if it comes to racial issues whatever
55:25
it is you want to bring in the experts
55:27
who look very expert and we'll get to
55:30
that in a moment and there should be a
55:33
non-profit and by the way I don't think
55:35
it's free and they may be paying them or
55:38
into the nonprofit but it's like hiring
55:42
IBM yeah you can't go wrong I brought in
55:45
the unreasonable conversation people I
55:47
brought in the Defiant American people I
55:49
brought in the lire Hollywood to help
55:51
Society people I brought in all these
55:52
people so you can't blame me and they
55:55
will be very careful that they advise
55:57
you properly so on the unreasonable
55:59
conversation program this year speaking
56:03
or as panelist America America Ferrera
56:06
remember her as Ugly Betty Andrew
56:09
Sullivan who is credited as a
56:15
contributing editor at New York magazine
56:16
of course a very famous blogger and the
56:20
Puddicombe though I don't know
56:24
let's see bara Tunde Thurston people who
56:28
have seen him before on Twitter will
56:30
know that he is who he is
56:32
bus M Yousef dubbed the John Stewart of
56:36
the Arab world let's go down some more
56:41
here a lot of names I don't know let's
56:45
see Geena Davis we know her Heather R a
56:50
very famous Hollywood producer
56:53
John Legend well when John Legend's in
56:56
anything you know that that has to be a
56:59
completely left organization we chosen
57:02
legends famous for saying there's no
57:05
such thing as a creative person of any
57:08
sort who's not a Democrat yes I think
57:12
this was the clip it's John Legend here
57:14
I'm hosting a virtual phone bank for
57:16
swing left this weekend to help get out
57:18
the vote ahead of the special election
57:20
in my home state of Ohio that's right
57:23
I'm from Ohio and Ohio has a very
57:26
special election on Tuesday we're
57:27
working to elect Democrat Danny O'Connor
57:30
to the House of Representatives I think
57:32
Danny is campaigning on expanding health
57:34
care and proudly promotes his rating
57:37
from the NRA his Republican challenger
57:39
is state senator maybe it was something
57:41
else and that's okay
57:43
call voters from anywhere all you need
57:46
is internet access and a play anyway we
57:49
had a clip somewhere we said creative
57:50
people can only be Democrats
57:52
so John Legend is in it Kerry Washington
57:54
very famous actress
57:58
who else do we have here Marsh Gessen do
58:02
you know her she's the troublemaker who
58:05
hates Russia and of course therefore
58:07
also hates Trump she's written 10 books
58:09
she's on staff at The New Yorker Megan
58:12
Smith hello we know Megan don't we I ask
58:16
used to be at my silicon spin show all
58:18
the time yeah isn't she a spook it's
58:23
possible I don't know that okay um let's
58:26
see who else do we have mayor of New
58:29
Orleans Rasheed Robinson makes sense
58:34
that he's in there Stacey Abrams General
58:39
Stanley a McChrystal they've got the
58:41
military guys in there too you know to
58:43
advise on the proper way to show
58:46
anything Steve Levine the future editor
58:49
at Axios yeah you know you're so Valerie
58:53
Jarrett oh hello Val she's in there so
58:56
that is what is polluting your Hollywood
58:58
products that is what is happening to
59:01
MCU is these people are I have their
59:04
fingerprints all over it
59:06
how'd you like that little comic book
59:07
reference huh I didn't get it MCU it's
59:11
the Marvel cinema cinema tonics
59:13
cinematic universe or some shit like
59:16
that the Marvel Universe yes MCU yeah
59:18
I'm sure it's generally influenced by
59:21
these folks that way that's why the
59:22
creativity is kind of leaching out
59:24
people aren't watching so much stuff I
59:26
mean there's too many shows on Netflix
59:28
have them are no good yeah and just a
59:31
lot of this stuff is just garbage and
59:32
just when we finished up the Roger Ailes
59:35
loudest voice six-part miniseries now
59:38
there's going to be a movie with Nicole
59:42
Kidman and what's-her-name mmm
59:47
the little blonde from Suicide Squad
59:51
Robbie Margot Robbie yes he's one of
59:54
yeah and then the other one the the dear
59:56
woman - what's her name
59:58
yes Cherise Charlize Theron Sharon girl
1:00:01
she plays Megan Megan Kelly making it
1:00:06
and everyone says aw she looks just like
1:00:07
her I don't think so I thought she did -
1:00:10
really
1:00:11
I didn't think it was like okay did a
1:00:13
pretty good job but the thing is in the
1:00:14
show I saw the trailer and it was just a
1:00:17
elevator okay this is not exciting bum
1:00:20
bum bum bum bum I mean it was just done
1:00:24
junk trailer you know this movie's gonna
1:00:26
I love how you do trailers bum bum
1:00:31
ba-bum ba-bum totally yeah I don't know
1:00:35
if there's gonna be any goodness I mean
1:00:37
the Roger Ailes thing was that seems
1:00:38
like it did the job it was a pretty good
1:00:40
series there was a Russell Crowe did a
1:00:43
good job that was fantastic but no now
1:00:47
they're going to trying to do jazzing it
1:00:49
up with some legs well I'm not against
1:00:53
that thing again but with more legs
1:00:55
think about how meta that really is to
1:00:57
do a document or do a drama about Roger
1:01:01
Ailes
1:01:01
that has more legs than the other one so
1:01:04
they can beat it out that is very meta
1:01:06
when you think about it yeah do a little
1:01:08
movie girls yes hit with that I'd like
1:01:13
to thank you for your courage and say in
1:01:14
the morning to you the man who put the C
1:01:18
in crying Pocahontas John C Dvorak and
1:01:22
morning to you mr. Adam curry in the
1:01:24
morning I'll ship sassy boots on the
1:01:25
ground feet in the air subs in the water
1:01:27
and all the Dames tonight so hello hello
1:01:29
hello hello troll room in the morning to
1:01:31
you everybody at No Agenda stream com
1:01:33
that is where we congregate twice a week
1:01:36
both on Thursdays you can listen to the
1:01:40
show live you can chat along troll as
1:01:43
much as you want and not just for no
1:01:45
agenda there's many shows that you can
1:01:47
find at no agenda stream com it is well
1:01:50
worth your time to go check it out and
1:01:52
hang with the trolls also a big in the
1:01:54
morning to Darrin O'Neill back with a
1:01:56
very sophisticated piece of art we loved
1:01:58
it this was the Greenland Chop Suey
1:02:01
was a good piece we had no argument over
1:02:06
that one
1:02:07
there was a just nice and for added
1:02:08
bonus the fortune cookie had the fortune
1:02:12
America bad it was I think it really had
1:02:14
all them elements were we're looking for
1:02:16
than a great piece of art yeah that will
1:02:19
draw attention and get people engaged
1:02:21
and it worked we not only got people
1:02:24
engaged
1:02:24
people also showed up to support the
1:02:26
show this is the other important part of
1:02:28
what our producers do and we love to
1:02:30
thank our associate secular produces and
1:02:32
executive producers up front just like
1:02:34
Hollywood like Hollywood mm-hmm
1:02:39
we do have a lot of people to thank in
1:02:40
fact extraordinary number because which
1:02:45
makes up for the last show which was
1:02:47
terrible
1:02:48
yes top of the list is Chris eisbock
1:02:52
from Cheshire Connecticut it was six six
1:02:54
6.66 I could have to do with those
1:02:58
numbers with this donation I I make it
1:03:01
to the rank of I count I've been a
1:03:03
listener since the show was in double
1:03:05
digits and it's been a great ride I've
1:03:07
noticed that you too you no longer I
1:03:11
have the dimension a B segments well not
1:03:17
as much no we did one I think a month
1:03:20
ago well quite honestly it's sickening
1:03:21
it's it's very sickening to go into B
1:03:23
and get dizzy and nauseous I you know
1:03:26
I've never said this before but when I
1:03:29
when I snap into dimension B after that
1:03:32
that crazy
1:03:34
yeah voice you've got this happened I
1:03:36
actually throw up oh wow well you're a
1:03:39
trooper you have to grab it I have this
1:03:44
little stinks to high heaven but it's a
1:03:47
large coffee cup
1:03:49
all right you're really stretching the
1:03:52
gag become much more than different
1:03:58
dimensions but different planets with
1:04:00
very little in commits in a comment on
1:04:03
how they see the world this makes things
1:04:04
particularly painful for those of us
1:04:06
somewhere in the middle at least on some
1:04:08
fronts I knew I needed to donate when I
1:04:11
saw my page-a-day calendar a description
1:04:14
of the founding of podcasting by adam
1:04:16
and dave winer whoa wow he's got it
1:04:19
artists you get a royalty for that I'd
1:04:22
like to see
1:04:23
well the show-me that paid your day
1:04:25
calendar he's probably throwing it out
1:04:27
oh damn it even mentioned that this was
1:04:31
an edition of audio files to the RSS
1:04:33
format Wow so your legacy is not
1:04:35
completely obscured by the likes of Adam
1:04:38
Corolla Corolla and Joe Rogan well there
1:04:41
was you know there was an article I
1:04:42
think was at People magazine or someone
1:04:44
put Conan O'Brien on the front and
1:04:46
here's the inventor of podcasting pretty
1:04:48
much yeah go podcasting is vikon I plan
1:04:53
to extend my Protectorate to FEMA region
1:04:57
1 and pledged to honor my duty to
1:05:01
promote good and Migdal health
1:05:03
throughout the region also I'm up for a
1:05:05
big promotion in September and I'm
1:05:07
asking for some jobs karma to put me
1:05:09
over the line jobs jobs jobs and jobs
1:05:13
that's the job the suburban Mennonite
1:05:23
comes in next with 606 dollars in
1:05:29
Westchester Pennsylvania scissors and
1:05:32
jingles here
1:05:36
I stumbled across your show several
1:05:38
years ago I'd tempting to find he does
1:05:42
something to blow myself asleep while
1:05:45
battling insomnia that's interesting I
1:05:51
quickly found your show to be completely
1:05:54
useless for this purpose instead of
1:05:57
getting bored and quietly falling asleep
1:05:59
with my headphones on I would laugh or
1:06:02
continuously yell out exactly only to
1:06:06
annoy and wake my wife up as well after
1:06:10
a little research on the show I was
1:06:11
surprised to find a new both of you from
1:06:13
being an early consumer both MTV and PC
1:06:16
Magazine in the mid eighties please keep
1:06:19
up the good work and grant me a major
1:06:20
deed douching by accepting this check
1:06:25
you've been deduced the initial amount
1:06:30
of 606 which represents the Mennonite
1:06:33
national anthem I look forward I don't
1:06:36
know what that means I look forward to
1:06:38
someday achieving knighthood thank you
1:06:39
the suburban Mennonite ladies and
1:06:42
gentlemen I present the Grand Duke of
1:06:45

1:07:07

1:07:10
analysis and the consideration of so
1:07:14
many sources
1:07:16
consideration of so many sources of
1:07:18
information
1:07:18
I'd love a lone wolf and a karma to all
1:07:21
producers past and present oK you've got
1:07:27

1:07:40
another one's IgM gents I'm running a
1:07:44
bit behind on listening due to a
1:07:46
vacation and a spotty internet
1:07:48
connection but on reading one last in
1:07:53
one last sad puppy news letter I felt a
1:07:56
need to step up and show some extra
1:08:00
support your hard work analysis and
1:08:02
contributions to my mental health is
1:08:03
much appreciated the donation probably
1:08:06
pushed me to knighthood but as I haven't
1:08:09
thought up a witty name yet sir Roy will
1:08:12
suffice
1:08:12
jingles needed
1:08:15
but I said it will take and we'll take
1:08:18

1:08:20
large dose of cancer karma for several
1:08:22
people next to me will be much
1:08:24
appreciated thanks again Roy you've got
1:08:32

1:09:52

1:09:55

1:09:56
haven't heard for over 800 longer than
1:09:58
that and maybe years you're John and
1:10:03
Adam let's back up and start over Brian
1:10:06
Martin 350 Dear John and Adam all
1:10:09
started my jingle requests for parter
1:10:13
requires some queuing and he's got a
1:10:15
list there you have them yes thank you
1:10:17
for everything that you do thank you for
1:10:20
everything that you for me okay thank
1:10:29
you for everything that you what's the
1:10:34
matter you can't read what it says thank
1:10:36
you for everything that you yeah you
1:10:37
well you will I was hit in the mouth a
1:10:41
little over a year ago and no Jen has
1:10:43
become a future a fixture of my life it
1:10:47
is apparent that two of you are pros
1:10:50
yeah yeah babe you pull together
1:10:52
relevant and thought-provoking content
1:10:54
without massive producer production
1:10:57
budgets yes it's a testament to your
1:11:00
talents into the product producer
1:11:02
Network I'm happy to provide back second
1:11:05
annual contribution and request addy
1:11:07
douching you got you've been deduced
1:11:14
state of the news out lesson the
1:11:16
supposed journalists that work within
1:11:18
them is now close to impossible know
1:11:20
where the truth exists doctors and first
1:11:23
responders treat an attempt to save the
1:11:25
lives of those that have committed such
1:11:27
foul acts that one could legitimately
1:11:29
question whether they are worth saving
1:11:32
lawyers provide legal services to defend
1:11:35
those who have conducted acts that are
1:11:37
seemingly indefensible each does so
1:11:40
because they are committed to the
1:11:41
principles of their practice that all
1:11:44
life has the
1:11:45
you that each person has rights that are
1:11:47
to be defended this is what our media is
1:11:49
supposed to be an organization that's
1:11:52
committed to the principles of honesty
1:11:53
and truth regardless of the consequences
1:11:56
think about what kind of society would
1:11:59
become if special political interest
1:12:01
inserted this money and control to
1:12:03
emergency rooms or to public defender
1:12:05
offices to define what was acceptable
1:12:07
it's a scary thought in the last episode
1:12:10
you made mention of the New York Times
1:12:12
meeting where the editor-in-chief as
1:12:14
well as the staff were actually
1:12:15
discussing how to shape the news I could
1:12:18
not help but shake my head and discussed
1:12:22
here's a group of people who have been
1:12:24
unwilling accomplices to one of the
1:12:26
greatest news misfires ever the Trump
1:12:29
Russia collusion time and time again
1:12:31
they pushed stories that found no
1:12:34
support when the evidentiary report
1:12:36
finally came out they're responsible as
1:12:38
well we were just caught flat-footed and
1:12:43
time and time again they push towards
1:12:45
about a very real rah rah and they won
1:12:49
Pulitzer Prizes for their flat-footed
1:12:52
work we're couple of movie Inception
1:12:55
where the characters needed a totem to
1:12:58
tell whether the oneself is actually in
1:13:00
a reality dream it's with a spinning
1:13:02
coin yeah or not in another person's
1:13:05
dream journalists have been wrong about
1:13:07
so much for so long I'm convinced that
1:13:09
they have lost themselves several layers
1:13:13
deep in someone else's dream they need
1:13:16
to a totem to bring themselves back to
1:13:18
reality your gentle sirs or my totem
1:13:23
kindest regards sir Bryan Martin
1:13:25
parkland Florida well thank you very
1:13:27
much that's very kind of you
1:13:29
yeah well that's exactly why we don't
1:13:31
take corporate money you can't be is any
1:13:35
form of truthful you just can't
1:13:39
self-censoring and I think it's pretty
1:13:41
clear we're not very self censoring
1:13:43
people are innocent until well alleged
1:13:45
to be involved in some type of criminal
1:13:46
activity
1:13:48
haha you've got karma and there's a
1:13:55
sequence thank you very much Brian Joe

1:19:03
Amole in Hillsboro Oregon two hundred
1:19:06
and fifty dollars and she becomes our
1:19:09
first associate executive producer for
1:19:11
this long list Dear John and Adam in the
1:19:14
morning the last you heard from and she
1:19:16
writes in longhand that is extremely
1:19:18
readable mm nice it looks like she took
1:19:23
penmanship in it unless she was at
1:19:25
school I had just adopted the name Wacom
1:19:28
all for all the troubles I had been
1:19:30
experiencing with my recent home
1:19:32
purchase John seemed disappointed I had
1:19:35
not given specifics as to my trials and
1:19:38
Adam was moving at that time to here's
1:19:41
my story I purchased and moved into my
1:19:43
new house last August unpacked purchased
1:19:46
furniture hung pictures and made it a
1:19:49
home then in February I found out that
1:19:51
through a postcard in the mail and a
1:19:54
subsequent City open house that road
1:19:57
construction was planned for the road
1:19:59
directly in front of my home no this
1:20:04
this will include adding a turn lane
1:20:07
bike lanes made possible by taking home
1:20:11
owners land and increasing the speed of
1:20:14
35 miles an hour creating a direct
1:20:16
thoroughfare between two major roads
1:20:18
during a bit of doing a bit of research
1:20:21
I discovered that the homeowners
1:20:22
affected had been received a letter of
1:20:24
explanation in the spring of 2017 so the
1:20:27
seller sold the house to me not
1:20:29
disclosing by the way it's illegal in
1:20:31
California to do that this information
1:20:33
and you could sue them and my realtor
1:20:35
did not do due to diligent do the due
1:20:38
diligence to discover this project
1:20:40
though I had clearly
1:20:41
stated I desired a quiet row with a
1:20:44
nearby green space no I found out April
1:20:48
18th in another city meeting that the
1:20:50
nearby green space will be the future
1:20:52
site of a 19 home development uh-huh so
1:20:56
here we are exactly a year later and
1:20:58
last Friday I closed on this sale well
1:21:02
this house whoa and have a pending offer
1:21:05
on a new one on a done' dead-end street
1:21:09
this whole process has been one
1:21:11
challenge and a difficulty after anyone
1:21:14
I hope you didn't go through the same
1:21:16
real estate person thank you for keeping
1:21:18

1:22:13

1:22:15

1:22:18
the fee I guess not huh probably not but

1:27:10
name is Artemus Kendon Johnson born

1:27:33
that he gets healthy and out soon pics
1:27:35
below yes rich I think he actually
1:27:38
tweeted me this morning says we're about

1:27:58
executive producers I mean like really
1:28:00
thank you this evened out the seesaw
1:28:03
it's always sickening when we go through
1:28:05
these these rollercoaster moves but I
1:28:08
always have faith and it paid off once
1:28:10
again thank you for supporting the show
1:28:11
and we have more people to thank $50 and
1:28:14
above in our second segment after more
1:28:15
deconstruction and of course you can
1:28:17
support us by going to this website
1:28:20
dot org slash and a formula is this we
1:28:30
go out we're here people in the mouth
1:28:37
[Music]
1:28:47
I probably should play this we got a
1:28:49
deep fake deep fake deep deep deep fake
1:28:53
witch and you know there was a deep fake
1:28:56
machine out there and people like to do
1:28:58
stuff and I I hear it I mean well if if
1:29:01
you tell me to find that listen is this
1:29:03
the person is the real person I can hear
1:29:06
no because it still sounds a bit choppy
1:29:08
and not completely natural but when it
1:29:10
comes to this particular guy and his
1:29:14
already interesting cadence well you get
1:29:17
this hello
1:29:20
I'm not Jordan Peterson like the news
1:29:23
you get from the m5m I'm a deep faith I
1:29:26
am an all go made up of skip logic and
1:29:30
the odd glitch that requires you to
1:29:32
jiggle the handle manipulated by a
1:29:34
nameless douchebag producers seeking
1:29:37
cheap love it is more important than
1:29:39
ever that you don't it to no agenda
1:29:41
unlike me for manmade climate change
1:29:44
causing the mudflats to disappear there
1:29:47
goes this effort to no agenda show is
1:29:49
real and needs your support
1:29:51
especially from you Jeremy in Bondi you
1:29:55
douche bed please go to Dvorak org slash
1:29:58
and Aid and donate now I may be fake but
1:30:03
this shit is real it's pretty good isn't
1:30:06
it yeah couple of glitches in their move
1:30:10
but I liked it yes sounded exactly like
1:30:13
him except for them little glitches
1:30:16
don't say glitches but those were
1:30:20
glitches where something goes like makes
1:30:22
a glitch yeah wasn't you right it was a
1:30:24
little glitchy my favorite part was this
1:30:26
there goes this if that made it really
1:30:38
feel real to me that was beautiful thing
1:30:41
oh my goodness who's our producer that
1:30:45
did that oh well it's Chris Wilson put
1:30:47
it together but there's the knot
1:30:49
uh not Peterson not Jordan Peterson calm
1:30:54
deep fake isn't how people selling deep
1:30:57
fake algorithms it yeah you know that
1:30:59
was available yeah you can just enter
1:31:01
anything anything you want and yeah this
1:31:06
sounds pretty well yes I would say it
1:31:08
sounds pretty good pretty good yeah I
1:31:14
get a kick out of that
1:31:16
oh you know this Iram I thought I had
1:31:19
dreamt this and then I went looking for
1:31:21
it and indeed I had seen it and it did
1:31:24
happen but it kind of passed over with
1:31:26
with the shootings and God knows what
1:31:29
else just the election news channels
1:31:32
it's so hard to get news like actual
1:31:37
news even news from the president who by
1:31:39
the way I think Trump is done something
1:31:42
very smart he noticed he never replaced
1:31:45
Sarah Sanders as far as I know he
1:31:47
certainly didn't replace anyone in the
1:31:49
briefing room so his new shtick is
1:31:53
fantastic it's just whenever he's
1:31:56
walking to the helicopter you know out
1:31:57
of the oval across the lawn he's got a
1:32:00
news pole camera set up no journalists
1:32:03
on camera which is why you never see Jim
1:32:06
Acosta anymore just no journalists on
1:32:08
camera only him answering going back and
1:32:11
forth bantering and I think at this
1:32:14
point he must have spoken to the press
1:32:16
more than any president ever in history
1:32:20
comes wandering out sometimes he wanders
1:32:22
on through the over the grass yeah a lot
1:32:25
of grass in these shots
1:32:26
yeah well he's coming from under grasses
1:32:31
they're coming up from a chopper and
1:32:32
he's going to a chopper it's always
1:32:34
somebody's on the move that's right yeah
1:32:39
that's good but I liked it you know he's
1:32:41
taking away the whole idea of the
1:32:42
briefing it's just gone that was just
1:32:44
him and it's probably the best way to do
1:32:47
it although holy crap man no matter what
1:32:50
he says it's just another scandal of the
1:32:52
day for the election TV channels it's
1:32:55
despicable but anyway one of the things
1:33:00
that we always talk about when you of
1:33:02
these mass shootings is was there
1:33:03
any were there any pharmaceuticals
1:33:05
involved now we know that the Dayton
1:33:07
Ohio shooter had xanax and cocaine and
1:33:09
alcohol not a great combo not an SSRI
1:33:13
but not a great combo but you never
1:33:15
really hear about this and it's never
1:33:17
discussed on the news channels because
1:33:18
the election channels are sponsored by
1:33:22
big pharma in general they spend most of
1:33:26
the money Silicon Valley doing pretty
1:33:28
good as well and as we've talked about
1:33:32
mmm several times on the show but going
1:33:35
back many years the closing of the
1:33:38
mental institutions in the United States
1:33:40
now could you do it like a brief
1:33:43
reminder because this was the Reagan era
1:33:45
was it not when we closed that what we
1:33:47
used to call the nut houses well yes but
1:33:51
it's I get the briefing here because
1:33:53
this was an era that I was this was my
1:33:55
era and what had been going on I was a
1:33:59
Democrat during this era of course
1:34:00
because I was Democrat so there was a
1:34:08
good constant carping by the Democrats
1:34:12
mostly the left if you want to call them
1:34:14
that today but the Democrats just some
1:34:16
Democrats and it was in the schools when
1:34:19
you're in high school even Grammar
1:34:20
School or anything they always discussed
1:34:22
all the horrible thing they do is look
1:34:25
at these insane asylums it's not the way
1:34:26
you treat people they don't need to be
1:34:28
locked up and they made it just it was
1:34:31
the beginning of the social justice
1:34:33
warrior movement I believe maybe it was
1:34:37
and they just moaned and groaned and
1:34:39
moan and groan and moan and groan it was
1:34:40
never gonna end and what was the main
1:34:42
what was the main complaint about the
1:34:44
these mental institutions they were
1:34:47
locking people up man oh man I don't
1:34:50
need to be locked up and so they were
1:34:53
looking these people up and it was bad
1:34:55
they should be out and about most some
1:34:57
weren't even nuts anyway as far as
1:34:59
arrogance needs some counseling and so
1:35:02
is just this idea and they kept harping
1:35:04
on it and they're just like we and this
1:35:05
one Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was
1:35:07
largely about written by Ken Kesey and
1:35:10
he was a functionary of the of the of
1:35:12
the moment and he put a book about it
1:35:15
was just horrible big dishes lock people
1:35:17
in the Gitmo electroshock therapy and
1:35:19
drug them and so they're zombies is
1:35:21
horrible
1:35:22
so Reagan comes into office and he says
1:35:24
he didn't want to have anything to do
1:35:25
with all these people moaning and
1:35:26
groaning for this whole six years or
1:35:29
however longer he's gonna stay as the
1:35:31
governor and he just closed all the
1:35:34
places he didn't you know he did what
1:35:37
they wanted and you know and they oh now
1:35:39
they're looking back or they blame him
1:35:41
were these this what were these federal
1:35:43
institutions state and Reagan had the
1:35:47
power to close they were like today they
1:35:49
got real all of them got disappeared we
1:35:51
had Agnew state hospital down in San
1:35:53
Jose locked up we had the nuthouse in
1:35:57
see I refer to it no Napa is in that
1:36:01
house in Sonoma both of them were pretty
1:36:04
much shuttered I think one was kept oh I
1:36:06
think the one for the criminally insane
1:36:07
whichever one that was I think was kept
1:36:10
for a while because they need to put
1:36:12
these guys somewhere during their trial
1:36:14
it would be worth going back and looking
1:36:16
at some articles from that period and
1:36:18
see if if people were talking about you
1:36:20
know the equivalent of people
1:36:23
experiencing homelessness
1:36:24
you know people experiencing mental
1:36:26
issues or some crap like that
1:36:29
well the homeless this thing is
1:36:31
something that does been written about
1:36:33
has been studied a little bit it really
1:36:34
relates back to Jimmy Carter when he
1:36:37
changed some federal rules about
1:36:41
subsidizing housing let's stay with the
1:36:45
with within nut houses for a second and
1:36:47
I remember growing up they were what's
1:36:51
wrong with Timmy no they took his mom to
1:36:53
the nuthouse
1:36:54
yeah that would be the way it would be
1:36:57
for referred to well President Trump
1:37:00
heard it going to be focusing very
1:37:02
strongly on mental health because here's
1:37:03
a case of mental health part of the
1:37:05
problem is we used to have mental
1:37:07
institutions and I said this yesterday
1:37:08
we had a mental institution will you
1:37:11
take a sicko like this guy he was a sick
1:37:14
guy so many sides and you'd bring him to
1:37:18
a mental health institution those
1:37:20
institutions are largely closed because
1:37:23
communities didn't want them communities
1:37:27
didn't want to spend them on
1:37:28
for them so you don't have any
1:37:30
intermediate ground you can't put him in
1:37:32
jail because he hadn't done anything yet
1:37:33
but you know he's going to do something
1:37:35
so whether it be talking seriously about
1:37:38
opening mental health institutions again
1:37:41
in some cases reopening I can tell you
1:37:43
in New York the governor's in New York
1:37:46
can a very very bad thing when they
1:37:48
closed our mental institutions so many
1:37:51
of them you have these people living on
1:37:53
the streets and I can say that in many
1:37:57
cases throughout the country they're
1:37:59
very dangerous they shouldn't be there
1:38:00
so we're gonna be talking about mental
1:38:02
institutions and when you have some
1:38:05
person like this you can bring them into
1:38:08
a mental institution and they can see
1:38:11
what they can do but we got to get them
1:38:12
out of our communities so the problem
1:38:15
with with doing this today in 2019 and
1:38:19
if it hasn't already started it will is
1:38:22
mental health and the definitions of
1:38:24
that have changed mental health is I
1:38:29
mean now you at school you can take a
1:38:31
mental health day at work you can have a
1:38:34
mental health day John you and I don't
1:38:37
know this but this is the fact there's a
1:38:41
you know this is something that is a
1:38:43
part of your benefits package you can
1:38:46
you know you get this many sick days PTO
1:38:48
and then here's your mental health days
1:38:52
mental health is described very
1:38:55
differently and and it is much more
1:38:58
inclusive than you're right for the
1:39:01
funny farm or the nuthouse and with the
1:39:05
SSRIs and I learned a new one SS are n
1:39:08
our eyes know what you'll hear in a
1:39:10
moment these two people who are
1:39:14
depressed who are really seriously
1:39:17
depressed they have been life savers so
1:39:21
you know you gotta walk you gotta tread
1:39:23
very carefully in today's media
1:39:25
landscape of what you call mental health
1:39:28
and mentally insane etc and as if on cue
1:39:31
NPR had an hour-long special
1:39:36
celebrating 30 years of Prozac
1:39:40
and I put a link to it in the show notes
1:39:43
it's it's worth listening to although at
1:39:45
the end it comes all the way around to
1:39:48
well they're pretty good we should keep
1:39:50
taking them the woman who did the piece
1:39:53
did this did the interviews and host the
1:39:55
piece has also been on prozac for most
1:39:57
of her adult life and I just wanted to
1:39:59
play a clip from this we've had 30 years
1:40:02
of Prozac so why are we still depressed
1:40:05
which I'd like to have is an ISO
1:40:08
candidate for the end of the show I
1:40:09
think it's a very valuable statement
1:40:12
we've had 30 years of Prozac so why are
1:40:16
we still depressed I have this almost
1:40:18
physical memory of the first time I
1:40:20
opened the bottle and shook this tiny
1:40:23
green and cream-colored capsule out into
1:40:26
my hand I remember being scared because
1:40:29
at the time I thought it was going to
1:40:31
make me somebody else and what did you
1:40:33
think I vividly remember you know the
1:40:36
first time I took it but I remember
1:40:38
better the third and fourth time I took
1:40:42
it because I was stunned I was
1:40:45
absolutely stunned at first I thought
1:40:46
this couldn't be I'm just having a good
1:40:49
moment but that moment turned into a day
1:40:51
in that day turned into a week and that
1:40:54
week turned into a month and I'm someone
1:40:57
who lived with psychiatric symptoms
1:40:58
since I was 10 years old and probably
1:41:01
even before all of a sudden I was better
1:41:04
and I had to reckon with what it meant
1:41:07
that this pill was making me into a new
1:41:12
person I came to believe it was what I
1:41:15
called a psychotropic Drano it cleared
1:41:18
my mind of all of the guns of obsessions
1:41:20
and the gunk of depression and
1:41:22
underneath was the person that I was the
1:41:27
most miraculous thing that's ever
1:41:28
happened to me and I've had two babies
1:41:30
so I'm not supposedly miraculous and it
1:41:33
was miraculous but it wasn't as
1:41:36
miraculous as being cured in a matter of
1:41:39
days by a pill what's been the long-term
1:41:42
effect on you um prozac stopped working
1:41:47
for me it wasn't like it's kind of
1:41:49
dwindled down I just stopped so I had to
1:41:52
switch to effects
1:41:53
I'm permanently on an SSRI RSS NRI
1:41:57
booster I can't get off I've tried to
1:42:01
get off and it's not possible for me to
1:42:05
do I don't see that I'll ever be able to
1:42:08
get off of it
1:42:10
in the meantime no one knows no one
1:42:14
really knows what the long-term side
1:42:16
effects of the SSRIs are I've been
1:42:19
taking them you've been taking them for
1:42:21
30 years
1:42:22
we're walking experiments but the
1:42:25
scarier thing than that is that no one's
1:42:27
experimenting on us they should be
1:42:29
looking towards us our bodies carry the
1:42:33
signatures of these drugs but no one's
1:42:36
asking us are looking at us or looking
1:42:38
in us to find out what might be the
1:42:40
long-term effects why are they so hard
1:42:42
to get off of and what happens to the
1:42:46
brain if you do get off of them and what
1:42:49
happens to the brain if you don't get
1:42:50
off of them I mean something is
1:42:52
happening to the brain and after 30
1:42:54
years of marinating your brain in a
1:42:58
serotonin booster clearly the brain has
1:43:01
changed but no one knows how or why and
1:43:05
apparently no one gives a crap that is
1:43:10
that's outrageous that is outrageous and
1:43:14
these women have a point that I think is
1:43:16
well made by that one that one woman
1:43:18
yeah what gives yeah it's like three
1:43:21
years to build yeah I mean this is just
1:43:25
like chantix you know just today are you
1:43:29
smoking now it works who cares if you
1:43:31
tried to kill yourself or your neighbor
1:43:33
who cares if you woke up naked rolling
1:43:35
around in horse crap with a gun who
1:43:39
cares if you're a celebrity chef and you
1:43:41
kill yourself while in France so yeah
1:43:47
I find that to be immediate grounds for
1:43:50
halting sales until until we fight well
1:43:54
that that wouldn't be fair because
1:43:55
people these people really need it and
1:43:57
and it didn't it stopped working and I
1:44:00
mean isn't that reason enough for the
1:44:04
makers of Prozac to go find out why it's
1:44:07
I don't know if that's a competing
1:44:09
manufacturer but she went to a different
1:44:10
brand and had to add a booster huh yeah
1:44:17
it's just very distressing yeah and I'm
1:44:22
sure lots of people will send me emails
1:44:24
about their experience and I appreciate
1:44:26
that
1:44:26
they'll be feel be interesting to read
1:44:29
but and of course in this case prozac
1:44:32
only
1:44:37
well okay well let's see we got
1:44:39
something a little more exciting if we
1:44:42
got tons of things that are exciting I
1:44:44
was just sometimes like you know I got
1:44:47
to put something on blast you know let's
1:44:51
see we got what is the interesting odd
1:44:55
with Cuomo and the REA oh yeah yeah this
1:44:59
is interesting now this is this was
1:45:02
something I recorded I knew about this
1:45:04
and I thought it was as a topic it was
1:45:07
this woman calls out whitey you know
1:45:09
there's just some screeching woman
1:45:11
that's that's giving some guy crap for
1:45:14
being white mm-hmm but that's not what I
1:45:17
ended up with with this clip was not
1:45:19
about that this clip turns out to be
1:45:22
about something completely different
1:45:23
it's nothing to do with the message of
1:45:25
the of the clip this has to do with the
1:45:27
pitch of the woman's voice like to drop
1:45:32
their register down and talk deep
1:45:34
because you know like you mean like when
1:45:36
he's running when you're running a blood
1:45:38
company this woman who's bitching about
1:45:47
she was talking over two people two
1:45:50
tones and the pitches and the frequency
1:45:54
response of her voice or the frequency
1:45:56
of her voice not the response the
1:45:58
frequency of her voice pretty much wipes
1:46:02
everything else out and I'm wondering if
1:46:05
this is not the most effective person to
1:46:07
have as a spokesperson in a broadcast or
1:46:12
televised argument Jessica's her voice
1:46:14
let's listen to this clip and you the
1:46:17
clips been around but just listen to how
1:46:19
her voice dominates this is about
1:46:23
politics is about elections this is
1:46:27
about great authorities to have taken
1:46:32
over the Democratic Party hijacked it
1:46:34
from their own speaker you think they've
1:46:36
taken it over interesting it's so
1:46:39
interesting
1:46:39
this is Angela Rai yeah but the setup
1:46:46
would have been very different for me
1:46:47
but okay let's listen
1:46:49
well let's because I don't
1:46:50
care about this bullcrap this is just a
1:46:53
bunch of people bitching and moaning at
1:46:55
each other I don't care about the
1:46:56
message he has to say but I do care
1:46:59
about her voice and how it easily steps
1:47:03
all over both Cuomo and the other guy
1:47:06
thing that you do at the same time you
1:47:08
unders
1:47:12
the time you chose hijacking I beg to
1:47:21
differ because they hijack the party I
1:47:24
remarked retic party you can and that's
1:47:31
what you are do but the bottle country
1:47:36
are white men white men who think like
1:47:39
you that is the straightest terrible
1:47:40
absolutely right it's all because of
1:47:43
guys like me that's silly rhetoric it
1:47:45
doesn't get it you know knowing how
1:47:50
dangerous times are right now defending
1:47:52
this nonsense
1:47:53
calling people these folks that was my
1:48:11
favorite yes she has a great voice
1:48:15
she's a very annoying person she is full
1:48:18
of crap she is boules yeah and she's
1:48:21
been on CNN for a long time with this
1:48:23
annoying voice and I think you should
1:48:25
hire as your personal spokesperson it's
1:48:28
astonishing her voice I mean I didn't I
1:48:31
just cuz I've resisted for the message
1:48:33
and that's why I didn't clip it for that
1:48:35
I mean the idea that you can't use the
1:48:37
word hijack because it's a it's somehow
1:48:40
demeaning to just just to add to that I
1:48:43
mean you did hear the point where she
1:48:45
keeps saying that white men are the
1:48:47
problem I mean you heard that writers
1:48:49
okay that pisses me she does she's
1:48:52
racist but it's the way it cuts through
1:48:55
everything else that's what I was
1:48:57
impressed by this
1:48:59
screechy voice of hers is perfect it's
1:49:02
the perfect voice that's why she's there
1:49:04
they have selected her specifically
1:49:06
forged she was just a runner at the
1:49:08
black Congressional Caucus she wasn't
1:49:09
anyone's important and then she got on
1:49:13
CNN she's good at yapping over people
1:49:15
and she's good to go she's got a career
1:49:16
I love this part now I don't know
1:49:30
today's television standards but back in
1:49:32
the day when I was on that on the
1:49:34
television if you were an interviewer or
1:49:38
you had a panel of people and you
1:49:40
resorted to pay who shows it you got a
1:49:45
talking-to how much very amateurish its
1:49:48
it is it shows you have no control you
1:49:51
don't know what you're doing and it's
1:49:53
it's pathetic maybe it's okay these days
1:49:55
I guess but you know do you talk to us
1:49:58
like this done on purpose there's no
1:50:00
reason because the control room can cut
1:50:02
people off they can do a lot but it but
1:50:05
because she is getting her she's the one
1:50:09
who's dominating the company she must
1:50:10
give her the show and she's been wanting
1:50:14
her own show for a long time
1:50:17
I'd say Don Lemon be on the lookout
1:50:19
watch your back watch your index finger
1:50:21
that would be a good person to replace
1:50:23
lemon would be good to get a place with
1:50:24
her the promise I get the sense that
1:50:26
she's stupid and I'm sorry Don Lemon is
1:50:32
the shining light hello let's get back
1:50:35
to the program
1:50:38
she's a da me and probably couldn't do a
1:50:41
show yeah yes or she's a prima donna
1:50:44
that would be horrible to be running a
1:50:47
show well I'll tell you this she would
1:50:49
be a good hate watch people would be
1:50:51
totally into it more hate watching than
1:50:54
than lemon lemon is too is you know
1:50:57
these names
1:50:58
ambi yeah he better watch his index
1:51:01
finger she's coming for him speaking of
1:51:04
old white guys being the problem this
1:51:05
carries over into the business news Fox
1:51:08
Business News you can
1:51:09
just carve out those that are good for
1:51:11
the environment social and governance
1:51:14
that don't have board members of a bunch
1:51:16
of old people guys white guys sitting
1:51:19
around the table fallen asleep they we
1:51:21
need to upgrade we need a facelift I
1:51:23
think to some degree this is what
1:51:25
they're saying but they're not going to
1:51:26
shift away from profitability for sure
1:51:28
investors today especially Millennials
1:51:30
are looking for this type of
1:51:33
representation in their portfolio and
1:51:34
you can get that anything you're saying
1:51:36
there is a genuine shift on the part of
1:51:39
society which wants capitalism to be
1:51:41
less gung-ho for profits no I'm not
1:51:45
saying that it's profit number one as
1:51:47
you say however we're under more
1:51:50
scrutiny if you have been running a
1:51:52
fortune 500 for a long period of time
1:51:54
and your board members on average are 78
1:51:57
years old and they're all white guys and
1:52:00
they don't have diversification they
1:52:02
don't have younger thoughts
1:52:04
you're gonna come under scrutiny from
1:52:06
investors okay fair point at that point
1:52:07
hold on a second about you in a second
1:52:09
oh yeah I guess we're screwed
1:52:12
we'll be under scrutiny bogus argument
1:52:15
too of course it was you one is the most
1:52:17
experienced people you can get and you
1:52:19
just just randomly throw a bunch of
1:52:22
diverse people onto the boards of
1:52:25
various companies you know don't you
1:52:27
know that most companies do better when
1:52:29
you have women and scene imagined
1:52:31
management who's where's the a B
1:52:34
comparison worse to proof of that
1:52:36
assertion
1:52:36
oh-o-oh false equivalency what about ISM
1:52:41
you find it I find that you like my lip
1:52:45
tart false equivalency man back off with
1:52:48
you what about ism
1:52:49
oh it's you know I think you have a
1:52:52
better voice to do that character I do
1:52:55
no no
1:53:07
shit for it but dogs are indeed people
1:53:09
too I cannot stop being on this tip we
1:53:13
have replaced dogs that we've replaced
1:53:15
children with dogs certainly here in
1:53:17
Austin Texas we've replaced the nominal
1:53:19
money you know what somebody wrote in
1:53:22
and said the reason our donations done
1:53:24
the less because you condemned dead dogs
1:53:27
I did not condemn dead dogs but I did
1:53:31
make fun of the constant comparison of
1:53:33
dogs to children specifically babies you
1:53:36
never hear this is my toddler you never
1:53:40
hear this is my teenager no it's always
1:53:42
my baby how old is your baby
1:53:44
Oh in eight years stinky old people and
1:53:49
I love dogs that's no pain I have no
1:53:51
problem with dogs but owners and oh my
1:53:54
god anyway I could go on forever it's
1:53:57
fine it's fine but I am right about this
1:54:02
we are replacing children with dogs and
1:54:05
channel 4 in the UK has made a show
1:54:07
about it trainer Joe racing is coming to
1:54:16
the age of desperate parents for the
1:54:18
controversial approach to parenting I'm
1:54:20
putting my neck on the line I believe in
1:54:22
the concept of the liens at this for
1:54:23
where it is
1:54:25
[Music]
1:54:27
using job training technique they will
1:54:39
want to be good boys but can you really
1:54:43
train your baby like a dog she said a
1:54:45
channel 4 there you go yes can you train
1:54:50
your baby like a dog yes and they
1:54:53
brought in the dog trainer and it's this
1:54:55
is one time when video would have been
1:54:57
good
1:54:57
she says sit you here there in the clip
1:54:59
sit and the dog and the kid both sit
1:55:02
down this is phenomenal
1:55:05
that's just wow yeah yeah it was here I
1:55:08
think can you train your baby like a dog
1:55:19
when I see a choke chain around some
1:55:22
baby then I'll wonder well you're no
1:55:25
stranger to the leash no that's true but
1:55:29
that's not for training it's to keep
1:55:31
them from running and on the tracks his
1:55:35
life-saving measures yeah it is a big
1:55:41
difference breaks it I this would fall
1:55:47
under the header of I don't know but we
1:55:50
were talking about this I'm pretty sure
1:55:53
I said what are you laughing about what
1:55:55
are you ho humming well I had I didn't
1:55:57
get it clipped this morning from near
1:55:58
this network Joe and I do so I'm glad
1:56:02
you brought a brexit because now I can
1:56:03
talk about I didn't clip the clip but I
1:56:05
can talk about their latest scheme okay
1:56:08
well he want here's what I heard Boris
1:56:11
was hanging out with Angela and the fact
1:56:15
I have the clip and he's like and she
1:56:19
goes and then he goes yeah I think we
1:56:25
can still come up with a deal in 30 days
1:56:27
it's aggressive but I think we can do it
1:56:29
this guy is not taking the UK out of
1:56:32
anything
1:56:33
yes of course I think there is ample
1:56:35
scope to to do a deal and I've explained
1:56:39
I think pretty clearly what needs to
1:56:40
happen we need to remove those elements
1:56:42
of the of the withdrawal agreement that
1:56:44
simply don't work for once we get rid of
1:56:47
it if we can change it then I think
1:56:50
there is the the real prospect of making
1:56:52
progress very rapidly the dumbest thing
1:57:16
does person I think what we need to do
1:57:18
is is remove it hole an entire remove
1:57:21
the the backstop and then and then work
1:57:23
as as Chancellor Merkel says on the
1:57:27
alternative arrangements and there are
1:57:30
abundant solutions which are proper
1:57:33
which have already been discussed I
1:57:35
don't think to be fair they've so far
1:57:37
been very actively proposed in over the
1:57:40
last three years by the British
1:57:42
government but I may say I'm very glad
1:57:44
listening to you tonight and gather to
1:57:48
hear that at least the conversations on
1:57:51
that matter can now properly begin and
1:57:54
you've said a very mister in timetable
1:57:56
there for 30 days if I understood you
1:57:58
correctly I'm more than happy with that
1:58:02
[Music]
1:58:05
this you know what's gonna happen
1:58:07
they're not really right they're not
1:58:10
gonna breaks it they're gonna kick him
1:58:11
out and Nigel Faraj will become Prime
1:58:13
Minister they're out of control
1:58:16
what Boris Johnson is if Nigel Farage
1:58:20
becomes Prime Minister I would love to
1:58:24
go back I think probably 10 years nine
1:58:30
years for sure and find the notes that
1:58:33
we got from our British listeners back
1:58:35
then because we were a big fans of Nigel
1:58:37
Faraj just for his polemics oh yeah he's
1:58:50
gonna go nowhere
1:58:52
[Music]
1:58:56
these are all good we spotted him early
1:58:59
and we stayed on the train and we were
1:59:01
corrected as I think we are often so I'm
1:59:04
watching this clip you're the latest
1:59:07
here going for and I did it wasn't
1:59:10
concise enough that so it wasn't really
1:59:11
clippable I would have sent it this
1:59:13
morning the thing they're pushing now is
1:59:17
is the is the is the catch phrase
1:59:21
freedom of movement they seem to be
1:59:25
really hounding on this freedom of
1:59:27
movement thing and so they were out and
1:59:29
man on the street do you think it's
1:59:30
gonna be okay because with brexit you'll
1:59:32
have no freedom of movement yes this is
1:59:36
a big thing yeah I know yeah as if yours
1:59:39
now you got you got the lead boots on
1:59:42
and you can't move you can't even leave
1:59:44
their town you're a straight jacket
1:59:50
jacket you can't move you can't do
1:59:52
anything and this is the same thing with
1:59:54
this Ireland border back stop nonsense
1:59:57
yeah what difference does it make if
2:00:00
they put a stupid border guard at the
2:00:03
Sun well hold on a second now that's you
2:00:07
that you're wrong because the people of
2:00:10
ire the Republic of Ireland and the
2:00:11
Northern Ireland people have a real
2:00:15
problem with the border they're happy
2:00:17
they finally got rid of all the problems
2:00:19
and they are worried they say they that
2:00:23
the problems will come back if we have a
2:00:25
physical border
2:00:29
to a pass-through border just have it
2:00:32
there as has just got got you could
2:00:35
phone into your gun and flown into
2:00:37
europe where you going to the customs
2:00:39
thing and there's two doors one is green
2:00:42
one is red you got nothing declare you
2:00:44
walk off the plane boom you go through
2:00:47
the grieving bar and you're now in the
2:00:49
country it took that long the United
2:00:51
States they stopped everybody scanned
2:00:54
the bags they do all this stuff you
2:00:56
don't need to do that you could just
2:00:58
have a green you know have the border
2:01:01
there have a big green and a red and
2:01:03
just kept people go back and forth as
2:01:05
fast as they want to it through the
2:01:07
green hole I don't see this being a huge
2:01:11
impediment it's gonna reach trigger the
2:01:13
Irish Republican Army or anything in
2:01:15
between I don't know but I'd like a
2:01:17
t-shirt that says the green hole that's
2:01:19
all I want
2:01:20
yeah Wes probably is all you want but
2:01:23
that said I just don't I mean there's
2:01:28
freedom of movement thing they got
2:01:30
everyone saying oh god I don't know what
2:01:32
I'm gonna do this is not entirely
2:01:39
correct the freedom of movement thing is
2:01:41
also mentioned on the EU side and it is
2:01:45
not just about the back stop and the
2:01:48
border between the Republic of Ireland
2:01:50
in Northern Ireland it is about the
2:01:52
freedom to go work but I'm telling you
2:01:57
that is mention the back stop being an
2:01:59
element okay I'm I'm expanding okay I'm
2:02:04
expanding it's alright
2:02:06
about attacking you it's just they
2:02:09
always send the emails to me so I'm I'm
2:02:12
trying to work guys easy to remember yes
2:02:19
the freedom of movement in my experience
2:02:22
the way people mean it is now I can't go
2:02:25
and work in Amsterdam now I can't go
2:02:27
work in Frankfurt now I can't go work
2:02:30
and fill in the blank and that's true
2:02:33
until you know something is worked out
2:02:35
or if that's worked out immediately
2:02:36
that's really and I see that more as
2:02:39
people who don't want to be in the
2:02:42
UK they're the ones bitching oh no no
2:02:45
freedom of movement you basically want
2:02:48
to personally actually brexit to go work
2:02:52
somewhere else they should just move
2:02:57
there yes
2:02:58
UK if you want it but you want to work
2:03:02
in Amsterdam and Holland cuz you like it
2:03:04
better than you like little just move
2:03:08
there because I'm a citizen yeah yeah
2:03:14
they don't want to do that this is like
2:03:17
temporary marriage Boris Johnson as guy
2:03:22
is a nut job he's but you know what I'm
2:03:25
happy the UK has someone like this now
2:03:27
cuz I got a little tired of Trump bits
2:03:29
here's a Boris Johnson who was an anti
2:03:33
anti-vaxxer the same time the World
2:03:35
Health Organization's stripped the
2:03:37
United Kingdom of its measles free
2:03:39
status after it declared the disease had
2:03:41
been eliminated just three years ago
2:03:44
complacency on the part of parents about
2:03:47
the need to get that settlement vaccine
2:03:49
but also I'm afraid people have just
2:03:51
been listing their superstitious mumbo
2:03:53
jumbo on the internet and when auntie
2:03:56
VAX
2:03:56
start from the thinking that the MMR
2:03:59
vaccine is a bad idea that's wrong the
2:04:03
British government's inviting social
2:04:04
media companies to a summit on how they
2:04:06
can better promote accurate vaccination
2:04:08
information No there you go colluding
2:04:11
with the government it's called
2:04:13
censorship but ok you can call it a
2:04:15
conference if you want God love that
2:04:19
yeah gotta love that hey let's let's go
2:04:22
figure out how we can tell people how
2:04:24
wrong they are they need to and that
2:04:26
this is not a pre a pro or anti VAX
2:04:33
the government's are telling you what to
2:04:34
do telling you what to do there were two
2:04:40
yeah I'd like to play these two clips
2:04:43
there's a lawsuit against
2:04:49
Google for their YouTube subsidiary from
2:04:52
Prager you and they have filed the yeah
2:04:56
it's a this is something we've been
2:04:59
talking about when it comes to section
2:05:00
230 of the Communications Decency Act
2:05:06
which of course is what spawned the
2:05:08
commercial internet services known today
2:05:11
as the social media etc and the idea
2:05:15
just briefly it's explained in this clip
2:05:18
that yeah you could host someone's
2:05:21
user-generated content it was referred
2:05:23
to at the time UGC user-generated
2:05:28
content which is free you know they do
2:05:30
it themselves as fucking idiots okay
2:05:32
they're gonna make a business out of
2:05:33
this so you could not get sued for libel
2:05:36
but of course you have to adhere to the
2:05:39
exact words of the statute and Prager
2:05:42
you is taking an alphabet to court they
2:05:46
did a full six minute video I've
2:05:48
shortened it down just to give you the
2:05:49
basic of what their lawsuit is about so
2:05:52
the most important lawsuit in America
2:05:54
right now and perhaps the free world
2:05:56
this Prager University in America right
2:06:08
now and perhaps the free world is Prager
2:06:11
University versus YouTube YouTube was
2:06:14
infringing on our right to free speech
2:06:16
we filed in federal court in late 2017
2:06:20
and thereafter in California state court
2:06:23
wait a second
2:06:25
you might say YouTube which is owned by
2:06:27
Google there's a private company can't
2:06:29
they do anything they want the answer is
2:06:31
yes and no yes if they are a publisher
2:06:35
No if they are a public forum so what's
2:06:38
the difference this gets right to the
2:06:40
nub of the matter a public right to the
2:06:42
nub of the matter that's a typical
2:06:45
lawyer I guess he has no heart can't say
2:06:48
hearts the nub so what's the difference
2:06:50
this gets right to the nub of the matter
2:06:52
a publisher chooses the content that
2:06:55
resides on its site the New York Times
2:06:57
is a perfect example you
2:07:00
write a story and just expect the New
2:07:02
York Times to publish it The Times
2:07:04
chooses what appears on its pages or
2:07:06
website and if they publish a story that
2:07:08
contains a malicious lie or violates
2:07:10
copyright law they can be sued Prager U
2:07:13
is also a publisher it decides what
2:07:16
material gets placed on its website most
2:07:18
sites or publishers in contrast a public
2:07:21
forum which can be a physical location
2:07:23
like the classic town square or a
2:07:25
shopping mall or a virtual location like
2:07:28
a website is a place that must allow
2:07:30
individuals and organizations to
2:07:32
exercise their free speech rights
2:07:34
YouTube is an example of a public forum
2:07:37
in fact YouTube describes itself as a
2:07:39
public forum he make a video YouTube
2:07:42
hosts it and anyone with an internet
2:07:44
connection can watch it Facebook is also
2:07:46
a public forum and so is Twitter here's
2:07:49
why this is so important a public forum
2:07:51
under Section 230 of the Communications
2:07:53
Decency Act a law co-sponsored by
2:07:56
Democrats and Republicans and passed by
2:07:59
Congress in 1996 is not subject to
2:08:02
liability for content placed on its site
2:08:04
if someone posts a video about how to
2:08:06
build a bomb or writes a threatening
2:08:08
comment the public forum website cannot
2:08:11
be held legally responsible for that
2:08:13
content that's a good thing
2:08:15
it gives YouTube and other public forums
2:08:17
the chance to host a wide variety of
2:08:19
material from nature videos to political
2:08:21
diatribes without fear of being sued and
2:08:24
it worked and then it didn't the few
2:08:27
years ago the social media Giants Google
2:08:30
Facebook YouTube and Twitter started to
2:08:33
behave not like public forums but like
2:08:36
publishers they stopped following
2:08:37
section 230 which specifically requires
2:08:40
that these websites promote a true
2:08:42
diversity of political discourse and
2:08:44
began to judge content by their own
2:08:47
political and social criteria so and by
2:08:50
the way I pulled out every three-second
2:08:53
gap between every sentence he read so
2:08:56
that was painful as it was it was much
2:08:58
more painful before I chopped it down
2:09:00
and I think this is yeah I think this is
2:09:03
interesting this lawsuit because it goes
2:09:05
after a different part of the statute
2:09:08
which is the description this a light -
2:09:12
description but it is it
2:09:13
of some of the responsibilities and I
2:09:16
think they I think they can argue it
2:09:18
yeah I've always believed this I wrote a
2:09:21
column last year in PC Magazine that
2:09:23
said that Facebook and Twitter I said
2:09:26
their publisher and one of these days
2:09:29
something has to be done about it
2:09:31
because they're not acting like
2:09:32
publishers and they're I mean they're I
2:09:34
mean they're acting like publishers and
2:09:35
that they call products they take out
2:09:38
terrorist stuff they take out stuff they
2:09:40
don't like and they have buildings full
2:09:42
of people that look at things and decide
2:09:44
whether it should be removed or not
2:09:45
including these some of these very lame
2:09:47
videos that Praeger you has been had
2:09:50
pulled including an Alan Dershowitz
2:09:54
explanation of the founding of Israel
2:09:56
why would you pull that BDS man hey
2:10:02
where are Israeli Knights by the way I
2:10:05
don't hear from them anymore that's a
2:10:09
good point little war I don't see him on
2:10:11
Twitter we nearly had a lot of Israeli
2:10:13
listeners on it but we have Serge oh no
2:10:15
we have we have a couple of nights from
2:10:17
in Israel I have not heard from anyway
2:10:19
sorry continue on your good point anyway
2:10:23
so there so I've written about this and
2:10:25
I sent the column over to that law firm
2:10:27
and you know I don't know if they're
2:10:32
gonna how they're gonna handle this
2:10:34
whole thing but it's about time because
2:10:36
it would be if somebody put years of my
2:10:39
concern and I've seen it somebody on
2:10:43
YouTube or anywhere any of these systems
2:10:47
publishes something libelous you should
2:10:50
be able to sue the publisher mm-hmm
2:10:54
I bet you can't because there's a
2:10:56
section 230 supposedly these are not
2:10:58
these are forums I like you know like a
2:11:00
bulletin board it's you know it's your
2:11:02
local taqueria you know you can just
2:11:03
accept them up there there it is yeah I
2:11:06
don't think so Stuart's internationals I
2:11:09
mean the Germans don't YouTube and all
2:11:12
these guys they make them take down any
2:11:14
not seep stuff and they gladly do it
2:11:17
yeah you're gonna you kind of set forum
2:11:19
you can't do that yeah yeah well so
2:11:22
first before I do and say anything I
2:11:25
could not resist I went to try out the
2:11:27
new Burger King Taco since you said
2:11:31
taqueria I did that left it left myself
2:11:35
open yes for the cross-examination now
2:11:39
you can go to Taco subject no I just
2:11:43
wanted to say that I I love me a hard
2:11:47
shell taco and in the commercial they
2:11:49
look so good and the people eating them
2:11:52
look so happy
2:11:53
let me tell you this is a piece of shit
2:11:56
product it comes flat and it looks like
2:11:59
a quesadilla it's it gets soggy it
2:12:02
almost like a ninja with a
2:12:03
jack-in-the-box taco car it looks
2:12:06
nothing like the pictures nothing like
2:12:08
the commercial it has the taste
2:12:11
you can't even I am right now I'm put
2:12:13
him on blast I could not even see what
2:12:17
was in there oh what a piece of crap
2:12:20
have you ever had a talk a a a
2:12:22
jack-in-the-box taco no okay well I'm
2:12:27
not a big jack-in-the-box
2:12:28
I'm not a big jack-in-the-box guy
2:12:32
telling you this right now do your abuse
2:12:34
should do this okay now that you've
2:12:36
entered the realm of taco bar these are
2:12:39
Co reviewer yes you have to go to the
2:12:42
jack-in-the-box I get a jack-in-the-box
2:12:44
taco to compare it to the Burger King
2:12:46
taco yes am I then not a taco wrist
2:12:50
accurate taco restock attack Arista yes
2:12:57
thank you
2:12:58
all right back to YouTube after this
2:13:02
slight detour Dave Rubin that you
2:13:07
brought up the taco thing of mine I'm
2:13:10
sorry yes because you are flies at Taco
2:13:14
Bell cuz they try to get to the French
2:13:15
fry game yeah with some dip
2:13:18
there's coated with some god-awful
2:13:20
powder are the worst french fries you
2:13:24
can buy anywhere I have a feeling taco
2:13:27
talk maybe a whole segment taco talk
2:13:32
with your taco is there a podcast there
2:13:34
should be a podcast taco talk with your
2:13:37
taco resis Adam and John hey John
2:13:41
how's your your beans alright back to
2:13:45
back to Google dave rubin who is of
2:13:49
course he's a leading warrior on the
2:13:52
front against against censorship and
2:13:55
what youtube is doing and the deep
2:13:57
platforming and the canceled culture
2:14:00
because he's witnessed it firsthand and
2:14:03
and i applaud him for doing that so he
2:14:06
had a panel that he pulled together with
2:14:08
a number of people talking about deep
2:14:10
platforming and on that panel former
2:14:12
facebook guys been they would been at
2:14:14
facebook for seven or eight years i'm
2:14:16
sure he has his money and he's fine he's
2:14:18
doing other stuff brian Amrish and he's
2:14:21
asked and wouldn't you know it the guy
2:14:23
inside the companies is saying exactly
2:14:26
what we've been saying about the
2:14:28
platforming on this show since the word
2:14:30
deep platforming was invented I mean
2:14:32
just a little insight on how in terms of
2:14:36
what makes it hard to be transparent and
2:14:37
a little bit about how these algorithms
2:14:39
work whether it's you know ranking and
2:14:41
newsfeed or or D monetization on YouTube
2:14:45
so what they don't have is some sort of
2:14:47
band list of you know if you talk about
2:14:50
these topics or you use these words you
2:14:52
know with your if you're an Objectivist
2:14:53
or you're on the right that you're gonna
2:14:56
fall into this category and we're gonna
2:14:57
treat you this way that's not how it
2:14:59
works so what's essentially happening
2:15:00
and for this is true for both YouTube
2:15:02
and Facebook on the you know talk about
2:15:06
D monetization for example what they're
2:15:08
trying to instantly advertisers from is
2:15:10
the risk of their brands being tarnished
2:15:13
by controversy that's that's the thing
2:15:16
that advertisers are worried about
2:15:17
they're worried about the fact that if
2:15:19
they're associated with something that's
2:15:21
considered hateful or hate speech or
2:15:23
politically incorrect that that's gonna
2:15:25
blow up it's gonna tarnish their brand
2:15:26
that's gonna they don't want to be
2:15:28
associated with that is that a very
2:15:30
strange thing though because I don't
2:15:31
think to say before the internet if you
2:15:33
were watching any NBC sitcom you you
2:15:37
weren't thinking that
2:15:38
whoever at you know tied endorsed that
2:15:41
particular episode of The Cosby Show or
2:15:44
something like that yeah I think people
2:15:45
have become a lot more sensitive about
2:15:47
it and they become much more may become
2:15:50
more activist like about it in saying
2:15:52
like oh you're right next to that ad
2:15:54
therefore you know we're gonna try to
2:15:55
punish you and control you in this way
2:15:56
and so what I've understood from the
2:15:59
advertisers and you know I didn't work
2:16:00
on that part directly but I've spoken to
2:16:02
folks inside Facebook about this is that
2:16:04
that's essentially their concern it's
2:16:05
not that they have any you know they're
2:16:06
they're against it Objectivist or
2:16:08
they're against people on the right it's
2:16:10
that they they don't want to be
2:16:11
associated with something that could
2:16:13
become controversial and so the problem
2:16:15
for these companies becomes how do we
2:16:17
predict what's going to become
2:16:18
controversial and the way you do that is
2:16:20
not that you have a team of human beings
2:16:22
who are deciding what's controversial
2:16:23
it's not the answer is that you build
2:16:25
fairly sophisticated models using
2:16:27
artificial intelligence and machine
2:16:29
learning that essentially try to predict
2:16:32
what's going to be controversial and
2:16:34
what's not okay so without going to
2:16:36
matrix right now aren't the humans the
2:16:39
flaw in the system there I mean these
2:16:40
systems are built by humans who have
2:16:42
their own biases and all that I mean I
2:16:44
look at it from a higher level than that
2:16:46
like I think the flaw is what you were
2:16:49
saying in the sense of like you can't be
2:16:52
that sensitive about being associated
2:16:54
with with content that's controversial
2:16:57
because it is it is impossible to build
2:17:01
models that are going to predict this
2:17:02
stuff accurately what those models end
2:17:05
up predicting like nobody can even tell
2:17:08
you you might look at it from a very
2:17:10
human perspective and say like oh it
2:17:12
kind of fuzzy looks like they're biased
2:17:14
against conservatives or Objectivists or
2:17:17
you know whatever it is but in practice
2:17:21
the way these models work is there there
2:17:24
are hundreds of thousands of levers
2:17:26
nobody knows what they all are they're
2:17:28
trained essentially you know with data
2:17:31
sets that are and again they're trying
2:17:34
to reduce controversy and essentially
2:17:37
with them and
2:17:39
the advertiser concern at least and
2:17:40
that's where it's coming from but
2:17:41
there's no sort of band list on far
2:17:44
writer exactly and that's the whole
2:17:49
problem it's what has always been now
2:17:52
are they're biased people pulling the
2:17:55
levers absolutely there's something in
2:17:59
there that was funny
2:18:00
and catch okay well and why did he keep
2:18:04
saying it Objectivist yeah because he's
2:18:10
an iron ran guy I guess that's gotta be
2:18:13
it or somebody is at the company maybe
2:18:17
he was always a Randian and he that's
2:18:19
why he had to leave
2:18:21
or maybe face because I haven't heard
2:18:25
that word for decades no we talked about
2:18:28
an ran who you're a big fan up yeah fana
2:18:30
here we talked about objectivism ever
2:18:32
heard you ever used the word objectivism
2:18:34
well you're wrong because we went into
2:18:36
in fact you went into great deal of
2:18:38
detail about the bullcrap objectivism
2:18:41
but after I said hey I read this book I
2:18:43
kind of liked it Atlas Shrugged little
2:18:45
grab objectivism here remember that's
2:18:48
not me that's exactly you I am nailing
2:18:51
your dream bit no no we did talk about
2:18:54
yeah we did the dream okay alright well
2:18:58
we have our pipes I just found in that
2:19:00
clip it was very very unusual that they
2:19:02
kept bringing that up I agree I'm glad
2:19:05
you did catch it okay yeah of course
2:19:08
then the troll room caught it two people
2:19:12
people people do listen and they also
2:19:17
listen to their customers it looks like
2:19:18
Gillette has figured out that their idea
2:19:21
of the causing controversy with the best
2:19:24
of man Kambei which backfired
2:19:26
spectacularly with a five billion dollar
2:19:29
right down on the Gillette property so
2:19:32
they've gone back yeah they've gone back
2:19:34
they've now changed they are now going
2:19:37
to stop talking about toxic masculinity
2:19:39
and they're going to local heroes as we
2:19:43
see a firefighter in Australia wake up
2:19:45
in the morning getting ready to shave
2:19:50
and what I've been a firefighter for 19
2:19:53
years people sometimes ask if it's scary
2:19:58
it can be but like anyone who has a job
2:20:01
to do you prepare not just in terms of
2:20:05
your equipment but also mentally and
2:20:10
physically
2:20:12
in urban environments it's mandatory for
2:20:15
Australian firefighters to be
2:20:17
clean-shaven so that our facemask keep
2:20:21
an airtight seal
2:20:23
sometimes it's total chaos but you're
2:20:27
trained to control your stress response
2:20:30
by lots of gleizes fences skin shaving
2:20:33
every day can cause redness and
2:20:35
irritation
2:20:36
[Music]
2:20:39
but Nanami
2:20:43
honestly it's not the fire I bet most
2:20:50
it's more the constant reminder of he
2:20:53
might leave behind
2:20:59
I'm a jerk man let's give God the razor
2:21:02
designed to slow our skin irritation
2:21:05
what after playing the I'm taking away
2:21:08
your clip of the day we used to have
2:21:14
something for that didn't we
2:21:17
worst clip of the day we don't have
2:21:20
anything yet maybe Kristi Noem over so I
2:21:22
thought we had I thought we had a thing
2:21:24
that reversed yes yes I'm correct gone
2:21:38
now can I bring it back to tacos because
2:21:41
I planned this you want you want to talk
2:21:49
about Gillette first and then go to
2:21:50
tacos again no I don't want to talk
2:21:52
about Jill I don't care about Gillette
2:21:53
well I'm gonna bring it back around to
2:21:56
an article in The New York Times which
2:21:59
shows exactly what stage we are in in
2:22:02
the podcast revolution ma'am we went
2:22:06
through this yeah we went through this
2:22:09
we we I've said many times you can't
2:22:12
monetize the network it doesn't work
2:22:14
this is not going to end well and
2:22:16
there's this whole article about fast
2:22:21
food companies doing podcasts and
2:22:24
according to the New York Times what's
2:22:26
more surprising people are actually
2:22:28
listening to them Oh bullcrap now the
2:22:32
thing that got me though and it's a
2:22:33
whole it's a whole article about so
2:22:36
Gizmodo is producing the McDonald's the
2:22:41
sauce podcast but then I got to gimlet a
2:22:45
gimlet is working for New Balance
2:22:50
creating a show about clothing and
2:22:53
sneaker culture this is the death knell
2:22:56
of the podcasting network the minute the
2:22:59
podcast network take it from me I had
2:23:02
one the minute the podcast network
2:23:04
resorts to getting in advertisers to
2:23:07
make a show for that advertisers product
2:23:10
your
2:23:11
on the brink of another round of finance
2:23:16
this will not work for a gimlet this
2:23:20
will not any of these never works for
2:23:22
anybody you know any of these podcast
2:23:24
companies that are going to make payroll
2:23:26
by making podcasts for their advertisers
2:23:29
who should be advertising on their
2:23:31
outstanding podcast is going down the
2:23:35
tubes yes today I can't agree more and
2:23:42
in fact the whole thing there's some
2:23:43
thought I had and I'd lost it we did
2:23:46
that at me vo we did the our dx7 we did
2:23:52
we had a bunch of sketches we unbox
2:23:57
motorcycles yes so yeah this is where I
2:24:04
was gonna say this is worse worse it is
2:24:11
the pits
2:24:12
it is the pits is really bad we on the
2:24:17
other New York Times the New York Times
2:24:19
is in under somehow because there's no
2:24:21
way that people are flocking to a taco
2:24:24
podcast done by Taco Bell
2:24:27
whoever the sponsor is well they say
2:24:31
that talked a little bit about the shell
2:24:33
bill we got bill in here from the shell
2:24:35
manufacturing facility outside of
2:24:38
Nashville taco shell makers bill how to
2:24:45
do at the taco manufacturing taco shell
2:24:48
company yeah I thought I was gonna be
2:24:51
Bill you played both roles no your bill
2:24:59
bill
2:25:00
how you doing I'm good we got bill on on
2:25:04
skype yeah I'm sorry bill taco shells
2:25:09
bill well first of all thanks for having
2:25:11
me on the shell cast I really enjoy
2:25:15
talking about the different kinds of
2:25:17
taco shells that are out there so far we
2:25:21
found that the one that looks like a
2:25:22
quesadilla stuck together where you
2:25:25
can't see what
2:25:25
inside seems to work the best for the
2:25:28
for our tacos but that's not the way
2:25:32
Taco Bell Taco is bill you sure you
2:25:35
actually work for Taco Bell or are you
2:25:37
just a generic shell maker the Taco Bell
2:25:39
buys from your contract oh hey what this
2:25:43
is the shell cast I got all kinds of
2:25:44
shells big shells small shells I got
2:25:46
wacky shells zany shells they got
2:25:48
coloured shells got hard shell soft
2:25:50
shells I got shells so you you who's the
2:25:53
inventor I was very fascinated by this
2:25:55
by the way who is the inventor I think
2:25:57
El Paso makes these and that the shell
2:26:00
has got like a bottom so it's like it
2:26:03
goes down as a hard shell that's got a
2:26:05
bottom it that's about an inch wide and
2:26:07
then it comes up on the other side so
2:26:08
you can actually stand up the shell yeah
2:26:11
yeah that was that yeah we I think we
2:26:16
should stop while we're ahead
2:26:19
you know what Jim imagine all the people
2:26:22
who could do is awesome oh yeah that'd
2:26:23
be fun
2:26:27
[Music]
2:26:32
you just weren't up for it ended
2:26:35
somewhere no a lot to be talked about
2:26:44
maybe there is something to that but
2:26:46
let's somebody please register shell
2:26:49
cast calm and the talker show with your
2:26:53
tucker Easter's talk for hours about
2:27:04
tacos bitchy bottom that's for sure to
2:27:09
get into taco truck tacos thing becomes
2:27:11
more interesting but let's thank Terry
2:27:13
rule ik out there in Niles Ohio
2:27:15

2:28:19
for keeping us sane so thank both of you
2:28:22

2:28:28
the thank-you notes actually a card that
2:28:30
says thank you on the front it says
2:28:32
thank you card yeah I should mention
2:28:35
this though there's another one it's on
2:28:37

2:28:38

2:28:39

2:28:41

2:28:45

2:30:26

2:30:31
themselves politically experiencing
2:30:35
homelessness okay say it right
2:30:37
especially in Canada after a certain
2:30:39
anonymous person began posting on 8
2:30:41
Chanin October 2017 began a relentless
2:30:43
program of research into the wild and
2:30:46
weird and the hidden and I heard John on
2:30:48
the grime Erica podcast during that
2:30:51
research

whistle yourself are you bow I should
2:40:11
mention this so it says restart options
2:40:14
I said schedule a time has an on and off
2:40:18

2:40:51
the Remote Desktop Protocol yeah cuz you

2:41:49
intros maybe others do too yes even the
2:41:55
alternate universe is the view stolen
2:42:02
but we did dogs or people to jingle and
2:42:06

2:42:08
what's what's been going on with your
2:42:10

2:42:18
you cause it's ruining the show it's bad
2:42:21
for the show because you've been ever
2:42:23
since you switched Network shit but you
2:42:25
know it's crackly but I know why because
2:42:28
damn we knows it's downloading all of
2:42:30
Windows 10 in the background look at
2:42:32
your problem look at your performance
2:42:33
meter I'll bet it's spiking that
2:42:36
wouldn't be surprised this
2:42:38

2:43:10
let's try and even it
2:43:11
so we have consistent amount of show
2:43:14
every single time that would be great
2:43:16
but I'm not complaining the beak the
2:43:19
broke Beagle did his job and again there
2:43:23
are so many people who will help with
2:43:24
this show who and we don't have
2:43:26
listeners we have producers and we have
2:43:28
producers who can give us info we have
2:43:30
producer who can do artwork who can do
2:43:31
clips you can do jingles some people
2:43:34
just don't have the skill to do the
2:43:38
technical work new clips etc some people
2:43:41
have no talent but that's okay you can
2:43:43
still produce and participate by joining
2:43:46
one of our monthly programs what are you
2:43:48
laughing about I'm doing a great pitch
2:43:50
here insulting really have no talent
2:43:52
people have no talent in making Clips
2:43:55
picking great clips you know it's okay
2:43:59
people see things they send it that's
2:44:01
fine but if you really want to help
2:44:03
that's how you participate if you can't
2:44:05
do the other things like Chris will sees
2:44:07
like oh I'm gonna get back on my monthly
2:44:09
imma dude you don't have to donate ever
2:44:10
again you've done so much for this show
2:44:12
so that's what I'm trying to make a
2:44:14
distinction of it's like everybody can
2:44:16
help everybody can pitches and as I said
2:44:20
under $50 is for reasons of anonymity we
2:44:22
don't talk about it because that's the
2:44:24
first rule of the donation Club and also
2:44:26
it's a people who are on our monthlies
2:44:29
or some weekly or episodic programs hey
2:44:34
chip in everybody buddy have you got to
2:44:36
lose I'm throwing it all out now

2:49:48
thank you again sir Craig and thanks
2:49:50
everybody who supports the show gracias
2:49:54
my friends well I have a actual
2:49:58
deconstruction you like to run all right
2:50:03
NVC which I got to get more clips from
2:50:07
them because they always run these
2:50:08
whipsaws or whatever we call it whatever
2:50:10
I call and I keep changing the name and
2:50:12
there's a good example they ran this I'm
2:50:14
not gonna run with these clips but they
2:50:17
did this essentially the clip I'm gonna
2:50:20
play which is the Wednesday Trump
2:50:21
rundown was almost identical to the
2:50:25
Tuesday Trump but in the Tuesday Trump
2:50:28
rundown they didn't have any whipsaws oh
2:50:30
so we'll just run - yeah whipsaw is
2:50:33
where they say one thing and then they
2:50:34
clip something else so here's the
2:50:37
Wednesday Trump rundown and then I will
2:50:39
take two whipsaws out of it after that
2:50:42
we hear the whole thing
2:50:43
also making head
2:50:44
lines this evening president Trump
2:50:45
sparking new confusion on gun background
2:50:48
checks polling new tax cuts off the
2:50:50
table and feuding with Denmark over his
2:50:53
rejected offer to buy Greenland all
2:50:55
while doubling down on his controversial
2:50:57
remarks about Jewish voters NBC's Peter
2:51:00
Alexander is at the White House
2:51:02
President Trump tonight delivering mixed
2:51:05
messages about enhanced background
2:51:06
checks for gun buyers oh I have an
2:51:09
appetite for background checks we're
2:51:10
gonna be doing background checks at the
2:51:12
same time after another call with the
2:51:14
NRA chief Tuesday arguing the existing
2:51:16
system is already strong we have
2:51:19
background checks but there are
2:51:20
loopholes in the background checks and
2:51:22
that's what I spoke to the NRA about
2:51:24
yesterday the president also appearing
2:51:26
to reverse course amid concerns the
2:51:27
economy may be weakening and outlook he
2:51:30
disputes after floating the idea of a
2:51:32
tax cut Tuesday payroll tax is something
2:51:35
that we think about today saying it's
2:51:37
not on the table looking at a tax cut
2:51:39
now we don't need it we have a strong
2:51:41
economy the president again defending
2:51:43
the ongoing trade war with China this
2:51:45
isn't my trade war this is a trade war
2:51:49
that should have taken place a long time
2:51:51
ago by a lot of other presidents
2:51:53
delivering this self-aggrandizing
2:51:55
assessment somebody had to do it I am
2:51:58
the chosen one somebody had it do it so
2:52:02
I'm taking on China President Trump also
2:52:04
digging in again painting Jewish
2:52:06
Americans as disloyal if they support
2:52:08
Democrats I think that if you vote for a
2:52:11
Democrat you're very very disloyal to
2:52:14
Israel and to the Jewish people
2:52:16
many Jewish groups have condemned the
2:52:17
comments accusing the president of
2:52:19
echoing an anti-semitic trope that
2:52:21
Jewish people have dual loyalties and
2:52:23
are more devoted to Israel than to their
2:52:26
own countries and tonight the president
2:52:28
found another target blaming the prime
2:52:30
minister of Denmark a longtime ally for
2:52:32
the abrupt cancellation of a state visit
2:52:34
there next month after she ridiculed his
2:52:37
desire to buy Greenland it was nasty I
2:52:40
thought it was an inappropriate
2:52:42
statement all they had to do is say no
2:52:44
we'd rather not do that or we'd rather
2:52:47
not talk about it don't say what an
2:52:49
absurd idea that is the president's
2:52:53
decision to pick a fight with an ally
2:52:54
comes as he's advocating for a
2:52:56
traditional
2:52:57
Cerie tuesdays before heading to the g7
2:53:00
summit calling for russia to be allowed
2:53:02
back into the group before you continue
2:53:05
with the deconstruction this is only
2:53:09
possible because of his new format of
2:53:11
the grass the chopper and just Trump
2:53:14
yeah that's interesting okay
2:53:17
so I heard a lot of I mean he's also
2:53:20
making it easy for him to put this
2:53:21
together well they still can't do it
2:53:25
without cheating yeah just can't do it
2:53:29
they can't bring themselves to it if you
2:53:30
listen to the Tuesday version of the
2:53:32
same thing it was pretty straightforward
2:53:34
there was no cheating in that one
2:53:36
same exact report but somebody obviously
2:53:38
at NBC really one of the worst of these
2:53:41
networks say the MSNBC you know being
2:53:45
the epitome of it somebody hey can you
2:53:48
we do this again but let's you know give
2:53:50
the guy a little some needling here
2:53:52
because it was like a pretty soft yeah
2:53:54
and so they threw all everything and
2:53:56
they could and the second report but is
2:53:58
the same thing but here's two examples
2:53:59
of the whipsaws that were in there and I
2:54:02
will listen to both of them and then
2:54:03
you'll see how obvious it is but let's
2:54:05
play whipsaw 1 arguing the existing
2:54:08
system is already strong we have
2:54:10
background checks but there are
2:54:12
loopholes in the background check so
2:54:14
that's what I spoke to the NRA about
2:54:16
yesterday ok he says that the quote says
2:54:21
that he's to call the NRA to tell them
2:54:24
that the existing system is already
2:54:25
strong that's not the clip holder things
2:54:29
have got loopholes in them I'm here
2:54:31
together how is that well how does what
2:54:34
Peter says in his analysis says that he
2:54:37
called the NRA to tell him that the
2:54:39
background checks are already strong
2:54:40
that's not that is not what he said in
2:54:43
the clip arguing the existing system is
2:54:45
already strong we have background checks
2:54:47
but there are loopholes in the
2:54:49
background that's what I spoke to the
2:54:51
NRA about yesterday yeah they were it to
2:54:54
be fair and not cheaters they would have
2:54:56
used the other one where he said we got
2:55:00
great background checks but he doesn't
2:55:01
have that he nany never said they were
2:55:04
strong no the NBC correspondent asserts
2:55:08
that Trump said they were strong
2:55:11
does not say that lies alright lies lies
2:55:16
okay let's try we'll talk to another
2:55:17
example after floating the idea of a tax
2:55:20
cut Tuesday
2:55:21
payroll tax is something that we think
2:55:23
about today saying it's not on the table
2:55:25
I'm not looking at a tax cut now we're
2:55:27
not needed we have a strong economy
2:55:30
Oh old I want to play it again after
2:55:34
floating the idea of a tax cut Tuesday
2:55:36
payroll tax is something that we think
2:55:38
about today saying it's not on the table
2:55:40
I'm not looking at a tax cut now we're
2:55:43
not needed we have a strong economy
2:55:46
where we're in there does he float the
2:55:49
idea he says he's looking at we're
2:55:51
looking at tax cuz we're looking at
2:55:53
Attica that's a float float to be
2:55:56
specific he says tax payroll taxes is
2:56:01
something we think about you know who
2:56:02
doesn't you get payroll tax you think
2:56:04
about it thinking about something but
2:56:07
the same as floating an idea he
2:56:10
specifically says yeah we think about
2:56:12
nannies ready contradicted himself
2:56:14
we never contradicted him Suze never
2:56:16
said the fourteen ever the first
2:56:17
assertion was a false assertion this is
2:56:20
what NBC does constantly this is what
2:56:25
they do you're officially on the Trump
2:56:37
defense force anybody I know
2:56:42
I'm just condemning NBC's for reporting
2:56:46
your reporting is bigoted biased you
2:56:50
have biased and slanted it's it's
2:56:52
terrible it's really is terrible it is
2:56:55
it is the best part of all those clips
2:57:00
that you played for me personally was
2:57:01
the end of show I so I am the chosen one
2:57:03
[Music]
2:57:05
just can't get enough of that in fact
2:57:09
that was pretty funny cuz they condemn
2:57:11
everybody all the networks all oh he
2:57:13
thinks he's God now yes if you watch the
2:57:17
video Trump out on the lawn and he he's
2:57:21
he's mocking the whole idea and he turns
2:57:24
to the left and looks up in the sky and
2:57:26
throws his arms out and says I am the
2:57:28
chosen when is a joke what he should do
2:57:31
nobody takes what he should do he's done
2:57:35
he's already done I am the chosen one he
2:57:41
tweeted a quote from the rabbi who said
2:57:45
he's king of the Jews so of course now
2:57:47
Trump says he's king of the Jews he way
2:57:49
should do now is I am the God of
2:57:53
hellfire now that would be great that
2:57:57
would be well we we went way over time
2:58:00
the affiliates are pissed but that means
2:58:02
we have some good stuff to carry over to
2:58:05
Sunday the second Thursday show of the
2:58:07
week and we look forward to seeing
2:58:10

2:59:26
of course are all over the place right
2:59:27
it major chain restaurants and a
2:59:29
thousands of grocery stores across Wow
2:59:32
hopefully we learned what was going on I
2:59:36
have all the answers I've been sitting
2:59:39
on them waiting for America to get there
2:59:42
I know that people love to embrace
2:59:45
conspiracy theory I let me let me give
2:59:49
it to you in a nutshell in a very
2:59:51
strange way by a weird fluke of history
2:59:53
I ended up in the center not impacted by
3:00:01
who advertises on my show I don't know
3:00:03
who advertises on my show spokesperson
3:00:09
calling the tweet ridiculous and of
3:00:11
course not true just look out the window
3:00:14
at what's going on if you were writing a
3:00:15
thriller you wouldn't put in anything
3:00:17
this obvious way he just gets whacked
3:00:19
before they fold the truck sharing an
3:00:22
unfounded conspiracy theory speculating
3:00:24
I think is determined for after years
3:00:26
and years to find out what the truth is
3:00:27
but I think that that the truth is at
3:00:31
its core probably something if my
3:00:36
company hadn't been successful we
3:00:38
wouldn't be here today so enough with
3:00:40
this so is it healthy probably not I say
3:00:44
this miss trains on a roll off the ball
3:00:47
most modern most beautiful most
3:00:49
thrilling to ride is the California
3:00:51
Zephyr mm-hmm sorry mmm sorry mmm
3:01:00
sorry mm I got a topper oh yeah
3:01:04
[Music]
3:01:34
wait for it wasn't that bad I think we
3:02:03
could there goes this effort
3:02:05
[Music]
3:02:17
tells lies God tells lies he needs to
3:02:25
lie the times he lies about climate
3:02:30
change opposes false accounts he feels
3:02:33
good
3:02:39
every day global warm with snow still
3:02:55
falling down
3:02:57
Freeza stop pupas it it's the blind
3:03:02
[Music]
3:03:10
the debate now is about the best ways to
3:03:13
move as fast as we can to solve this
3:03:16
crisis yep we all know that best way is
3:03:19
to pay Al Gore now he lies we need the
3:03:24
money tree
3:03:26
